For those who missed it, we had a lengthy "relic beta" where we beta tested a rework of the relics. All monsters, their stats and even some relic tiers have been swapped around based on several rounds of feedback from the community. Below are some highlights but you can find the full notes here[1] and here[2].
Patch Notes:
Thank you to every one who helped us out during the relic beta & PTR. You guys were really helpful. I also have to give a special thanks to Necrolis who has been working incredibly hard alongside his day job. He has done a ton of work not only for Season 13 but also future things that we are very excited to share in the coming months. His work really elevates this mod to a level we couldn't achieve otherwise. I also want to thank some people and I will list them in no particular order. Their contributions big or small are very much appreciated: Qord, Davide, Shirley, Sizzles, Willywonkahc, Bayaraa, Kingpin, Flyers, Zardozspeaks, lazergator, Josko, cypress, mmmpld, Aerlynn, Heroes of Newerth, kongdev, cla$$ics, Deleted User, BetweenWalls, Aytos our entire Moderation team who are selfless saints, we appreciate you. hope i got everyone, let me know if I forgot your name please
The server contributors and everyone who has donated or subbed on patreon; without your financial support we we could not keep up with the costs of servers. If you love this mod, and are able to contribute, please consider donating via paypal, patreon or credit card. Your supporter is needed and appreciated.

There's a lot of talks lately about AI, AI coding and AI slop. A mod definitely needs to be designed by hand.
One advantage of AI though, is that it allows certain individuals to increase their productivity and take a higher workload. u/greendude120 is one such case. Increasing productivity is definitely a plus, when there aren't many others to step up.
A very major part of creating/fixing a mod is bug-fixing, which can be extremely time-intensive.
Claude and GPT are amazing at writing code.
I did some experiments with Grok Build. This one is amazing at DEBUGGING and pin-pointing the real issue. Grok Build is a hunter. That's what's needed here. Not writing code per se.
I gave it multiple hard tests and it passed them, to my surprise.
Could definitely be useful to reduce the workload and fix some lingering issues. There's a weekly quota on the $30 plan; fix a few bugs per week.

Hello everyone. First of all, I LOVE Path of Diablo. Its the whole reason why I decided to play again after many many years. Now I am 40, and as many people, I am managing work, relationship, family, etc... while still want to see Baal with my sword on the middle of his skull. (XD)
I would like to know if there is any newcomers out there who wants to play chilled games, while you are able to combine your Adult Life (wife, kids, family, work, etc... etc), and just have a fun group to play from time to time. Without restrictions of playing perfectly, or anyone telling you how you should play (or how you shouldn't play).
Just like a bunch of our "Old us, back in the days before there was Youtube Channels and websites dedicated to share awesome Character Builds".
I can start a Character from zero, so we are all in the same boat.
I am located in France at the moment, (so you can see if the Time Zone is convenient for you). I can play mostly after work, and one or two hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.
I play more after works than on weekends, but at least 1 hour and half or 2 hours, I can share fun runs if there is anyone interested.

Running a druid.summoner build and just saw an enflame wand w charges... And was like oh+50 ar %
So then I went shopping for a wand w frigerate charges. After 20 minutes I gave up. Asked ai if they exist and it said no. Asked ai if wands could have enflame charges (I have 2 already) just to see it's answer. Ai also said wands can't have enflame so... Can't trust ai.
Anyone find a wand w frigerate charges?
edit:: I also learned from ai that you cant charge magic wands in refrigerators or with vape pods

Me and Khiar (both from Sweden) went and visited our POD friend (Tvert and his now wife Ash) for their wedding in Canada.
The wedding gift I gave them was a drawing my boss drew for me (seen in the pic) and then signed in person and digitaly by 14 SCplebs members + Greendude.
It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time on our 2 week vacation.
Now we all just waiting for Greendudes wedding gift of a POD reset.
Grats buddy!

I'm just curious. Now that there's D2 Remastered and a new team of Blizzard devs are releasing game patches...
From what I'm hearing, D2 definitely has superior graphics; but PoD has far superior gameplay which also matters according to some gamers.
Are those D2R patches bringing positive or negative changes to PoD? And are those changes being implemented into PoD?
One thing for sure: as of late, there has been a lot of competition to PoD; and there hasn't been a new season in 2 years.

um i talked to you once before and was successful in you implementing the old (alternate) mind blast for assassins.
I have a few ideas for next patch and really just spitballing here but my mind has been wandering while traversing the demiplanes... (not sure if any of these have been mentioned)
Ive noticed the new rare monster checklist and love it!!. any chance to get a quest item after defeating em all like a 10 mf charm or a 10 hp perm potion or an item that can cube to eth an item or drop those new synthesized or... (edit) kill em all in the entire act and are guaranteed to get a set or unique item ilvl 1-30, 1-60, 1-78? (i feel like this would help with the lvl30-35, 60, and 75-85 crowd and also somewhat a new route to play as opposed to cows or baal or maps)
any chance to get some new shrines? specifically an mf shrine (=25/50/100+ to mf) or a rune shrine...? (different ideas on this.... for starters super rare (( i feel this will help with the adventuring aspect)) pops out a rune on linear or pops out a set number like 7-14 in norm, 13-21 in nm, 18-26in hell.... or upgrades like gem shrine or....)
any chance to get a ghost skill... example : i have an assassin that i want to equip with a +3 to shadow master claw and a seperate +3 to shadow skills claw to basically save 3 skill points in my build. the problem i am having is i have to manually select the shadow master skill every time i switch weapons because i dont have any points in it until i switch weapons and therefore cant add a shortcut button to the moveset. any chance to like assign a ghost button (maybe g?) to allow a skill on charges to be able to be assigned to a key.?
(edit) ALSO! i only play hardcore (but i might be starting a sc char to learn more about endgame) and lost a level 80 char today because i clicked the wrong buttton on the exit screen after my merc died and i got rushed by elites with fast movement.... Can we get an exit screen that is a little more spaced out. Like i coulda swore i clicked on exit game and i ended up in sound or something.... is there any way to just space em apart a lil more for better accessability?
(edit) i dont code so i dont know if any of these are possible
Also i really love everything you guys are doing, I know theres been a huge drop in players due to warlock class but... plz continue path of diablo too. let me know if i can buy yall a beer or something.
greendude ur my hero

Showcase of my Procadin zeal paladin , Its a verry cool build that imo fixes issues both hamerdin ( life/mana sustain) and zealots ( AoE / phys immunes ) struggle with .
So if you like Zealot and you feel like you lack aoe or ways to deal with phys immunes or if you like hamerdins but struggle to sustain life/mana in maps ; this might be your perfect solution .
Its ofc not a meta build but it is capable of running all content .

The KickAss KickAssassin is a kicking Assassin that is built around Naj's Circlet and its 28% chance of cooldown reset after kill - in this case with the aim of being able to spam Dragon Flight as much as possible and using Dtalon, if necessary, in between or on single targets.
I had a lot of fun raising this build in the campaign and trying out different gear setups on the way. While I haven't reached the ultimate limit yet, this Assassin is now lvl 92 and running maps. The playstyle is a lot of fun and the most action I can get out of a char without the button-hustle of a classic MA build. Having said that, you can either focus on chaining Dragon Flight and by that reaching the highest amount of kills per second or you rely more on Dtalon to make sure you really clear the areas as well.
In this video I'm leaning more towards the flashy Dragon Flight focussed style so I won't take responsibility if one's OCD gets triggered by all the mobs left behind. The video contains cuts of some random maps and a longer part from Overgrown Ruins where i let the video breath a bit to give a better impression of the genral gameplay - and because the map was just very fun to run.
Enjoy!

So title, kinda burned out on how easy D2R is with the sunders, haven't played since a while before RotW and the news from even more broken stuff makes me even less interested. Been trying this out but two major bugs might just turn me off. One is the grail tab, it readily accepts some items but for the most part "I can't" and there seems to be no way to make it work. The other happened for the first time just a while ago, changing stash tabs and the entire stash went grey and locked everything, including my inventory, couldn't mouse over anything. Closing the stash fixed my inventory, but the stash stayed like that for the rest of the game. Wasted a lot of time fully clearing a map looking for the "boss" skipping a lot of drops, because space, and couldn't find the boss. Quit, got booted to login, it was fine when I made a new game. What's up? Any point in hoping for a fix?

Hi fam!
The Trends site has officially been live for a year this month, so I figured this is a good time to ask for feedback.
Over the past few weeks, weâve quietly rolled out some changes:
What started as a replacement for the old analytics site has definitely grown into something biggerâand I want to make sure itâs actually useful for you all.
So Iâd love to hear it, especially the honest stuff:
Even small nitpicks help a ton. This is meant to be a community resource, and your input really matters. Iâm always actively working on it and happy to iterate based on feedback.
If you have no idea what Iâm talking about and this comes off like a confused old man yelling at a cloud, thatâs fairâbut the cloud has data: https://trends.pathofdiablo.com/
Thanks to everyone whoâs been using it so far.

This is basically a showcase video of my Widowmaker running the new maps since the original video in the guide only recorded the old ones. Another motivation to make this video was to get a better impression in what content this build and similar Magic Arrow users shine or struggle in comparison to big AoE builds.
In general it's obvious that all maps can be run faster by some other builds but still there are some tendencies:
Northern Wall: Very good to run, feels like this char was made for it.
Agony Halls: Still a good experience but the difference in clearspeed between the corridors and the wider rooms becomes clearer.
Festering Tunnels: Even if this layout wont make it into the next season, we all became familiar with its characteristics, so I found it to be a good benchmark to test any build. Here the 7 arrow spread reaches the limits of its potential, theoretically able to cover the whole width but as you can see I constantly struggle to find the best spread without getting thrown off by selecting single monsters. Still very effective gameplay if you don't want to set records.
Underground Lake: The wider layout makes it difficult/impossible to target all mobs on screen at the same time. It's also the only map where I instinctivly use Guided Arrow quite a lot so its multiple, randomly shot arrows can hunt down single monsters in different directions.
Hellfire Throne: Monsters with high life values slow down the killspeed, otherwise the map is fun to run. I also had to be a bit careful because of a +149 Minimum Damage mod on the map.
Overgrown Ruins: I didn't run this map because the constant Decrepify curse is too annoying. The map is still playable since the Bowsin runs with too much IAS anyway but it's more fun on other builds.
All in all i could summarize, combining old and new maps that the Bowsin, as most geared builds, runs T1 maps easily and fast but especially shines in T2 corridor maps like Desecrated Temple or Icy Cavern where it can deliver its damage to all monsters at once. T3 maps work well but not as fast as the cookie cutter builds and mostly pose a certain challenge as intended.
For everybody interested: The characters name is Mahbuba and a detailed guide + video for the build can be found on the PoD Wiki.

Vote for your favorite new map from the mapbeta ! i'm curious what map is most popular .
Maps that dont work yet or Tunnels that have gotten a full layout rework (not released yet)have been excluded from the list

Here's a showcase of my bowsorc , I use safety bolts to unlock magic arrow with 100 dex provides me a 5 projectile spread that always pierces and hits .
Running phoenix Crossbow for the fireball procs ( and ofc pierce + redemption are insanely good ) and dragon armor for Hydra Procs
I have invested in both synergies for FB and Hydra for those procs to realy delived a good punch . add a high dmg enflame on top and this sorc has a huge dmg output and clearspeed + super fun to play
If you guys looking for a fun sorc build , this one is sure one to consider.
I ran it on Agony map but perhaps not the best for it since those thunderblizzards rly melt down your energy shield hard without full investment in it , but maps like desert it realy excells at !

Do you like to play layed back, focusing on picking up drops instead of what's going on around you? Then this build might be just for you.
The Turtle slowly walks through maps, killing through passive damage from Sanctuary and in my case has a little bonus dmg from Holy Freeze. I won't go in too much details or write a build because this build only reaches acceptable dmg-levels through al ot of magic facets to reduce enemies resistance. Without it, killing just takes too much time to be fun. Also a high lvl Sanctuary needs certain investment in +skills equipment while not neglecting survivability.
That said, if you gte all these things done you still end up with a tank and good magic dmg, spread evenly in a big radius around you. Keep in mind that the Sanctuary damage in the tool tip does not include +%dmg from facets. The Turtle in the video should have around 8k dmg per tick, with better gear even 10k are possible.
Why call it Turtle? Well, running fast doesn't make sense with this build. You need to stick around for some ticks until the fatter enemies fall, so you're well advised to walk instead of run to maintain a smooth gameplay without stopping all the time. This way you also retain max block and all of your defense which keeps you safe and sound as only a turtle shell could do. I forgot to use my merc in this video that usually provides me with Cleansing and Defiance, making the runs even safer.
Still don't rely too much on your tankyness. You'll be mostly fine, but high density maps with flat dmg mods like the one in the video will still become dangerous at some point so be prepared to sacrifice the extra damage from your second aura of choice in order to run Redemption from time to time - especially when you're amped.
So all in all the build is quite simple and straight forward: Gather a lot of +skills, fill all the sockets with all the finest magic jewels you find (shoutout to cripler for supplying me with loads), press you hotkey for run/walk toggle and start picking loot.

Heyo, I spent he last days/weeks setting up this very fun and surprisingly effective Blade Fury build.
Starting as an experiment at first, it quickly became my mostly played build due to its combination of strength and fun gameplay. It has a great amount of viability and variability, so through different gear and stat/skill allocation players can adjust this build not only according to their own playstyle but also according to their virtual wealth.
After some testing I went with what works best for me: A quite tanky allrounder with great AoE, good single target dmg through fire traps and enough MF to make it my main mapper.
I'm planning a detailed write up with in depth explanation, item choices and different variations from low budget ladder starter to facet eating glass cannon and everything in between. But since I'm just too lazy right now I hope you enjoy this short recording as well.
