In January 2024, he told Newsweek: "I would like to see any terrorist, Hamas, or person who believes Israel has no right to exist or the Jews have no right to it, I would like Israel destroy those people. Then I would like to see some type of new world that comes about in Gaza where Jews can go back to the Middle East."
That just seems like pretty bare-bones believing a jumble of old propaganda definitions and narratives without looking into it at all. The sort of thing that might get passed around by word of mouth, it doesn't seem like it even really fits together or mirrors the modern "complete" narrative. Like he is trying to piece together a semi-coherent whole on request based on a bunch of random propagandized opinions he has heard over the years, but never took the time to look into any of it himself. He doesn't really seem to know what is going on in even the broadest strokes.
I don't know if this makes sense, just woke up and it's a somewhat difficult idea to express. I am sure there is other content out there that paints a more complete picture of what he thinks, but at least from just this one quote alone it seems to me that he might not be too committed or far-gone on the topic, just parroting accumulated apologetics sound bytes.
