Hey all,

I've only seen Placebo at festivals, no indoor venues. I've got seated tickets for section 12 Row 1 at Movistar in Madrid. I'm a bit worried because I'm not from Spain and I normally expect the crowd to stand up in the seated areas, but at the Pixies in Granada everyone stayed seated.

I presume everyone will be on their feet right? What's a Spanish placebo crowd like? I can't imagine sitting at a Placebo gig.

I've developed quite an interest in Pierrot recently, the modernist version of him anyway. The version of him as an archetype of the outsider, failed lover, artist, melancholic, fool and person who cannot quite participate in ordinary human life. In a way, a prototype of the modern alienated individual. Lonely, isolated, always on the periphery. Someone who watches other people live their lives while being unable to truly live his.

And of course, I turned immediately to this song, and I listened to it like I never have before.

It just hits me very differently now.

What are other people's thoughts on this?

The shade of red is just vibing, the cleanest and the prettiest I've seen, not overly agressive or dramatic. It compliments the song incredibly. And everyone's looks? Clothes (Brian's sweater especially)? Hairstyles? So good!

OKAY but seriously, where is everybody?! I am on my hands and knees begging for a decent quality Placebo Live at Man Ray, Paris 2003. This show is an actual GEM and I refuse to believe it doesn't exist somewhere in good quality!! I recently found my one (1) trading soulmate and scored some really solid full concerts, so I know miracles happen. If you've got tapes hiding somewhere and wanna trade, come to me, I don't bite 🥹

Placebo's 2015 MTV Unplugged in FLAC. If you've been looking for it it's for sale on [deleted by user] I have the vinyl, but the usual purchase locations stopped carrying the audio files.

ETA: This is a link where you can PURCHASE a copy, not download for free. As someone who wants to own their digital copies instead of renting a license, this is a good find.
