uj/: Milo's second team is based off the Post-Galarian Star Tournament Team.
uj/: As for whether or not Johan could still defeat Milo. Talonflame and Greninja both outspeed his entire roster while also packing super effective moves (Greninja has sludge wave). Gardevoir is a decent counter to Flapple. Scizor also packs some nasty super-effective technician-boosted moves while also being neutral to all incoming moves.

uj/: So I've been theorycrafting on how Johan will beat all of the gym leaders with their Champion tournament team based on the 'mons that Johan has. Raihan having a gyroball, drought Torkoal in the front has actually caused me some grief.

Johan: Yeah honestly, this whole “get sponsored to the gym challenge” still weirds me out. There is always next year I suppose. I’ve been told most people get sponsorships from the minor leagues.

For Jess it's Gloria but it'd be her second time, though it's a bit harder when your opponent could have 2 separate pokemon that's very strong against the region's gimmick. -Fonesig

I know, I got access to Mega Evolution thanks to being a powerful trainer in the ZA Royale over in Lumiose City, I got a few more options before coming back to Galar -Jess
