A Boxing Day Reminder
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Just saw some posts that inspired me to make this reminder post.
We appreciate all the newcomers and users here at r/punkrock ,but please read through the rules before posting. You can find them on the right sidebar.

Would like to point out rule 4 again. This is a place for PUNK ROCK. I've been seeing some pop punk posted here. This isn't the place for them, BUT they do have their own places:
r/Sum41 r/Blink182 r/bowlingforsoup r/GoodCharlotte r/5SecondsofSummer r/newfoundglory
If you are a fan and want to discuss these pop punk bands, please join their subs with likeminded people and fellow fans. I've linked a few here that you can check out and can still have all your discussions there. Please go check them out. Thanks.

What do you think makes good (or bad) gig etiquette?
I’ve been thinking about how much ‘gig etiquette’ has changed since the 20th century. With mobile phones and cameras and just people’s general capacity to let loose. Does anyone have any personal stories or just general observations on good/bad gig etiquette?

A *NEW* ISD jam might be his finest ever...Skrewdriver - You Can't Buy Time
Just like the TEMPLARS & NEGROTERROR (both bands were MASSIVELY influenced by & avid collectors of ISD.)I listen to EVERYTHING & I give zero fucks what stupid ideologically infected ideas they might be suffering from...ISD is EASILY one of the finest most prolific song writers ever to have existed... Never not catchy all ways sounding like LOUISARMSTRONG never ever around or even photographed with Women or girls...A closeted homosexual throughout his hate filled career got killed in a car wreck in the '90's the immigrant family in the other car hadnt a clue who he was or what he repped...a fitting end-
This might be his greatest song ever a shitty tiny amp chicks shouting out the chorus probably recorded onto a boombox...Reminds me of a Mississipi Bluesman playing in the '60's with nothing more than heart & spirit-
Behold the splendor of IanStuartDonaldson

Free codes in celebration of album's 30th anniversary🎊
Our debut album "The Scapegoat's Agony" turned 30 last November so we are giving away some free codes to celebrate this anniversary just a little bit longer🙂:
https://comabeach.bandcamp.com/album/the-scapegoats-agony
The album title "The Scapegoat's Agony" is an allusion to the play "Waiting for Godot" by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.
Our musical influences range from Sex Pistols, Ramones, Hüsker Dü, Joy Division, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain to Guns N' Roses, Therapy? and Bad Religion, with our songs frequently straddling the line between punk rock and alternative rock.
