Grocery store?
Best grocery store with the largest variety to shop at for tourists? Staying in Bavaro. Dont want to travel too far. Can I pay with USD and apple pay?

My boyfriend and I went to Punta Cana and I had the most delicious dessert there. It kind of reminded me of a coconut rice pudding. But thatâs definitely not what it was. Itâs definitely had coconut in it and there was cinnamon on top. Does anybody have any idea what the dessert is? đ„„

Hello! Weâre traveling to Punta Cana in December and want to know who your favorite airport transportation service is! We are staying at Live Aqua but booked with Expedia because flights were INSANE and they offered a good package deal.
Thank you đ

What beer and bourbon/whiskey brands are generally available at the Majestic Mirage. Have a couple of travelers in our group who like something better than Jack Danielâs in the evening. Thanks!

Hello! This is to all my vintage/second hand clothing lovers. Iâm headed to an all inclusive here in a few months, and I do indeed love some thrifting. To anyone that has been, are there any good stores? And should I leave room in my suitcaseđ€? Thanks in advance

Hi me and my family are going to punta cana in November from Canada, we were wondering what currency we should bring and if we should get it before the trip or when we arrive at the resort? Thanks for any help!

We will be going to the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana for our honeymoon in a few weeks. We went to the Zilara Cancun a few years ago and loved it! From what I understand Cap Cana is bigger with more options through the resort. A few questions:
-did you pre-arrange a shuttle to the resort from the airport? We did this in Cancun as the taxi/uber situation can be hostile and Iâm not sure if this is the case in the DR too?
-do we need to book anything (spa, restaurant reservations, excursions) before arriving or will we be able to do those things when we arrive?
Any other helpful info appreciated. Thanks!

Saludos!!!!

We will go to Riu Bavaro, Punta Cana in April.
Can you tell everything about the hotel and Punta Cana? Is it good in April?

Hi everyone! Weâre considering Secrets Cap Cana and had a few questions for those who have been recently.
What beer options are available besides Presidente? Do they have Modelo?
How is the bourbon selection overall?
And lastly, is the resort pretty cigar-friendly? Are there good places to sit outside and enjoy a cigar in the evening?
Thanks!

Dumb question but my wife and I are staying at the Princess resort. Is there a laundry service available to wash clothes?

Looking to travel to PC (Secrets) for the first time. I get severe migraines, and I always check medical care ahead of time before traveling.
Does anybody know if there is access to a private medical care that can give an IV for migraines? In the US a migraine IV treatment is toradol (ketorolac), Benadryl, and an anti-nausea medicine.
Iâve thankfully never needed one while traveling, but I always try to be prepared.

Does anyone know how Riu Republica is for solo females? I just want to lay at a beach and read for the most part but I'd also like to drink and meet friends at night...

Boyfirend and I (American) opted to stay at the princess Punta Cana Adults Only resort in bavaro after a positive recommendation from a friend (friend mustâve been on drugs) it being a decent budget hotel. And let me say, I got much less than what I paid for. Ultimately, shouldâve shelled out for Secrets or Wyndham.
Do not book this place unless you are planning to stay in violent discomfort. I was stressed out the whole time. Our room reeked of mold that I was sensitive to. Our shower flooded the room. The water went off twice during our stay. People say the rooms need updated and boy is that an understatement. The whole place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Sheets with stains, pillows with stains. The mattress must be a decade old. Took us two days to find out why our room keys stopped working (donât put them next to your phone!). Beach reeked of dead sargassum. And despite taking vigorous precautions to not get sick, both my boyfriend and I shat our brains out the last four days of our trip.
Also, people commend the service, which was fine, but beware of the timeshare reps and public beach gig workers. It got super annoying after a point.
A special shoutout to Hispaniola snorkel tours though. Our highlight of the trip!
Please stay somewhere else.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a (reputable) place to get a custom t shirt made in or around the Punta Cana area, think it would make for a good take home gift from vacation and something a little different than what might be found in regular stores.
