[Online][5e][Tuesdays 7pm EST][Paid] Curse of Strahd - 3/4 seats filled - $15/session

A mysterious invitation arrives to you bearing an unfamiliar seal. The letter informs you to come and attend the festival of the First Harvest in the city of Daggerford near Waterdeep. It is quite curious as the invitation has no names, nor any markings. However, along with the invitation is the passes to the Mermaid's Pearl, a grand opera in the city of Daggerford. The letter ends with the mention of a 'handsome reward for your troubles (500 gp worth of diamonds)' and a promise to provide you with 'opportunity of a lifetime like any other.'

System: D&D 5e

Module: Curse of Strahd (Gothic Horror/Dark Fantasy)

Time: Tuesdays at 7:00 PM EST

Platform: Roll20 (VTT) & Discord (Voice+Video)

Cost: $15 per session

Spots Available: 3/4

Starting Level: 3

Price: $15 USD per session

Session length: 3ish hours

DMing Style: Laidback, rule of cool with emphasis on character interaction and story rather than mechanics

What to Expect: Curse of Strahd is a legendary, roleplay-heavy campaign dripping with atmosphere, suspense, and deadly encounters. This is not a heroic fantasy where you charge into battle with no consequences; it requires strategy, caution, and a willingness to engage with the dark, tragic themes of Barovia.

Beginner Friendly: Veterans and newcomers are equally welcome.

How to Apply: If you feel the mists calling to you, please send me a DM or reply below with the following:

  1. Your preferred name/pronouns:
  2. Your experience level with D&D 5e?
  3. What you enjoy most in a campaign: (Roleplay, Combat, Mystery, Horror, etc.)
  4. A brief character concept: (If you have one, but don't worry if you don't!)

I look forward to welcoming you to Barovia!

LFG PAID Games from Tavern of Tales! [PAID][Multiple games needing players][Discord Server][WEEKLY]

Hello !
I’m a professional Dungeon Master with over 6 years of experience running D&D, I specialize in roleplay and dynamic worldbuilding, crafting adventures that balance deep character-driven moments with thrilling, challenging combat. If we are talking split values, they would be 60/40.
All my games are hosted on a dedicated Discord server, making it easy to jump in and join the adventure.

Whether you want to dive into classic D&D adventures or explore entirely original worlds of my own creation, I ensure every session is engaging, memorable, and tailored to my players.

With that, I will advertise all of my current games, how much they would cost and what is the plot hook for them.

If interested, send me a message directly either here or on my discord "elemium"

WEEKLY GAMES

1) Acquisitions Incorporated using 2024 rules ! - Player Count 3/6 - Cost 15$ per player per session !

Acquisitions Incorporated is offering a new starting position within it's world !
All you have to do is join this mighty corporation, hit your quotas, franchise the business and more !
But be careful, you are just an intern, so better hope you are not the one getting fired this quarter !

So for more context, this is basically a comedy setting in dnd, where the players are not just adventurers, but interns in a corporate style adventuring guild, trying to make business boom (aka their CEO richer). It's a very satire filled module, almost like a parody of a more expected dnd game

Time is set to Sundays 7 PM EST

2) Ravenloft ! - Player Count 1/5 - Cost 20$ per player per session

Welcome back to Ravenloft !
With the upcoming new book, I will be doing a new custome game themed around Ravenloft ! Main story would be about exploring other Domains of Dread, and not just Barovia !

You will get to experience and see more unique, gothic horror filled, worlds with their own cursed residents !

Time is set to Mondays 7 PM EST

3) Ryokos Kaiju Hunting ! - Player Count 0/6 - Cost 20$ per player

Ryoko's guide is one of the best Homebrewed books available right now, offering a great new Japanese inspired setting, subclasses, races and even custom rules about fighting a Kaiju size monster.

So let's make a game about it !
Premise will be simple, as in this island nation, that is ravaged by gigantic monsters, a hunter's association has been established to fight against this GIANT threat and defend the peaceful lives of civilians.

Time is set to Thursday 6 PM EST

4) Obojima ! - Player Count 5/6 - Cost 20$ per player per session

Obojima is an island that lived for thousands of years alongside spirits.
Magic is mundane here, used from simply growing crops, to modifying roads for faster travel.
Spirits inhibit Obojima everywhere and while most are friendly, there are a few that pose a threat.
Yet locals survived for many years, to the point of colonising most of the island and having proper roads and even vending machines everywhere, all while establishing peace with the spirits of the island and co-existing.

That is...until something went wrong.
Something is plaguing the island, making the peaceful spirits angry, to the point of attacking civilians.
There are also rumors of some of the more greedy locals, looking for remnants of the First Age, the unknown period of Obojima from which great technology was lost.
All to say, Obojima is in an unstable period for the first time in centuries and it's up to the players to help.
Will they find what is causing spirits to anger ? Will they find what happened during first age ? Or even find the old tech for benefit of the island ?
Well, only one way to find out.

Time is set to Tuesday 10 PM EST

LFM PAID [LFM][Edge of the Empire-FFG][20$/session][Mon 8pm EST][FoundryVTT][3/5] Recruiting for ongoing Star Wars campaign

Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. However even as the Rebel Alliance fights their uphill battle against the Empire, the Empire’s reach continues to grow. Will you learn to coexist with the Empire or hide from them? Perhaps even aid the growing Rebellion? Your group will have to chart the best path forward themselves!

Mondays 8:00pm Eastern

The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot, Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter and Rennek, our former Imperial Commando.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

-Discord for Voice Chat.

Your DM:

-I started with TTRPGs by running 5th Edition D&D. In 2019, I transitioned into running paid games as a full time job, and have been running 3-5 games a week since. I started running the Star Wars RPG in Apr. 2025 as previously mentioned.

-Available nearly 24/7, excluding my sleep hours. Always willing to answer questions.

-Good Connection/Headset/Microphone.

What is expected of you?

-Respect is a must and I will not tolerate player conflicts, PVP, or any type of disrespectful behavior towards the other players. No graphic sexual content. Players who violate this Social Contract will be removed with no refund.

-Be on time, as this is basic respect for myself and the others. Missing a session will be allowed with prior notice, with no charge. Sessions will still go forward as long as we have 4 players and no major plot moments. Players who have issues with attendance will be removed with no refund.

-Have a reasonable quality microphone (be intelligible), Discord and use push to talk. (I can assist you in setting this up).

Pay to Play:

-20$ Per Player Per Session (Excluding Session 0), paid via Paypal in advance.

Session 0 is free. Please reach out via DM to join or with any questions

LFM FREE [5E][Online][EST][Tues/Thurs 7–9 PM] Long-Term Homebrew Campaign | [2024]

I’m recruiting for my next long-term D&D 5e homebrew campaign, while inviting a few players to join the final sessions of the current one to get a feel for the table. We play Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 7:00–9:00 PM EST (both days required, not one or the other) using Discord (voice + video required) and Roll20, and the game is 18+.

The campaign is story-driven and centered around ordinary people navigating a hidden world of living dreams where emotions become reality, nightmares spread through corrupted sleep, and ancient Entities shape the subconscious beneath. What happens next is entirely up to the party, and the world reacts and remembers your choices. Expect heavy roleplay, meaningful decisions, a persistent world with real consequences, tactical high-stakes combat, and character backstories that are directly integrated into the main plot; this is not a drop-in or casual game.

I’m looking for consistent, communicative players who enjoy character-driven storytelling, strategic combat, and long-term investment in a campaign built to last. Because of our tight, twice-a-week schedule, punctuality and absolute commitment to every session are critical. If that sounds like your kind of table, send me a message and I’ll follow up with a short questionnaire to see if it’s a good fit.

LFM FREE [Online] [D&D 5e 2014] [Bi-Weekly Saturdays 5-8pm CST] [LGBTQIA+ Friendly] Sinfodder: Vertices of the Hexenwinter

Hello! We have had our first two sessions, however, I'm interested in having one more player to join our group of five. We currently have a bard, druid, fighter, monk, and sorcerer.

Fractals formed this realm, from the spirals that warped each wave to the geometric shapes carved into the bark; they exist both in the material plane and the spaces in between. A sudden plague has since marred this tiny land, Sinfodder, which was a microcosm of a far greater space that has now began its ruination. This corrosion beckons arms to action, seeking to end the rusting of this planescape– as denizens and structures that come into contact are encrusted into frozen statues. Beasts of burden twist into these rotted creatures, no longer in control, burdened with the weight of this blight that rapidly consumes and warps their physical forms into lupine-like creatyres. The once uniform and magnificent realm is in a rapid descent towards chaos and self-destruction, as the foundations that once created this world begin to corrode– strings and patterns lose form, untangling into chaos and dismantling the natural order.

The celestial body adorning the sky wanes, as the rust slowly consumes the very thing that paints the world in a radiant light and warmth. As day gets shorter, and nights grow longer, these rusted lupines stalk the planescape with a ravenous apetite. Orders for cities and bastions erected in high places, deep beneath the earth, or become seabound, seeking refuge from the beasts and plague that seek to destroy them.

The ancient city of Wickermoor, atop the greatest quaking aspens is the hub for adventurers seeking the cure to the Rustbound, a bastion of trees that reach past the horizons, the corrosion has touched the edge of the forest and is slowly climbing towards the city. Though it will take centuries before it will reach the city, the stalwart denizens of Pandora are in rapid pursuit of a solution to save the oldest and largest clonal organism, Pando. The forest of identical trees that singlehandedly connected to one root system.

Whoever you are, you have been afflicted with the Rustbound, and it is consuming your very body. Within decades, you will join the bronze graveyard of frozen statues until you find the solution. A voice echoes in your dreams, singing you songs of bewilderment and spiraling you into bouts of madness, tracing lines to ever-branching paths of possibilities, and beckoning you to look between the hundred dewdrops of the many-legged’s web as answers are in the hands of the lost and mad Fairy King.

This, is the journey to the Spiral of the Fairy King.

This campaign draws inspiration from Old Gods of Appalachia, the Pixie Hollow, The Secret World of Arrietty, Redwall by Brian Jacques, Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter, Once Upon a Time, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, The Wheel of Time, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, Unfettered by Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, Wanderhome, Elderwoods from LoL, Death Blossom from LoL, Flora Fatalis from LoL, Coven skinline from LoL, South of Midnight, other media.

The setting is rich with the southern and midwestern gothic Appalachian flavour.

Content is also pulled from various modules and adventures, but largely taken from the Crooked Moon adventures! However, much of it will be tailored to the campaign narrative and storylines, largely the skeleton of the Crooked Moon content will be used!

OVERVIEW

System: 2014 D&D 5e (You are allowed to use 2024 weapon mastery rules, 2024 spells/features must be checked with dm beforehand)
VTT: We will be using Roll20 for maps and character sheets (D&D Beyond is okay, but a character sheet on Roll20 is also needed), please have something that can easily run Roll20 maps with dynamic lighting.
Date: Saturdays, bi-weekly (So September 19, October 3, etc.)- with opportunities to play certain thursday nights if everyone agrees up to a week in advance.
Time: 5-8:30pm CST

We play bi-weekly on Saturdays from 5pm-8:30pm CST (central timezone), hoping to run about 20 sessions. There are chances for cancellations as I tend to be busy and have events over the weekend, but a notice will be given.

This campaign will expect an encounter every other session or where it permits, I am looking for creative players that love roleplay and creating characters that are well integrated into a lore-heavy world. I will do my best to have backstories be integrated into the world and character arcs/plot hooks in backstories could be explored across this mini-campaign. If you are a player that likes to make conversations with the other players and NPCs, interact with the world I provide, are willing to follow a complex storyline that we are telling, and actively participate in the game, then this campaign is perfect for you! In terms of characters/players, I'm looking for characters that are capable of aligning/cooperating with the party; arguments, rivalries, and disagreements exist, but D&D is a cooperative storytelling game, and we honestly can't have that if your character isn't open to adventuring with the party.

I'm a lenient Dungeon Master and I'm open for most ideas! All I ask is that you communicate with me.

Due to the scope of the campaign being bi-weekly, I offer downtime inbetween sessions which can be done through roleplay threads done in-text using the discord bot, Tupperbox.

HOUSE RULES

Critical Hits: Roll double dice (does not double any modifiers).
• Flanking: Allowed! When a creature and at least one ally are within 5ft of the same enemy on opposite sides, that enemy is flanked. Each of the creatures flanking gains advantage on melee attacks against it. You do not gain the effects of flanking if you are also being flanked.
Opportunity Attacks: While typically D&D rules that only willing movement provokes opportunity attacks, I find it to be more fun to rule unwilling movement also does so. I think this allows players to use strategic thinking in combat when doing something that might alter an enemy’s position. However, this rule is a double edged sword, because it can also be used against you.
Healing Potions: Drinking one yourself is a bonus action, feeding one to someone else takes an action. If a player dedicates an action to drinking a healing potion, they receive full benefits (max dice).
Attack Rolls/Saving Throws: Meets it beats it. If you meet someone’s armor class, it is a successful hit. If you meet the DC of a saving throw, you succeed on the save.
• Initiative: Rolling a Nat 20 on initiative lets you choose what place you'd like to take in the initiative order.
• PVP: I will not allow harmful spells, attacks, or actions to be used on another player without first discussing the matter out-of-character. This also includes charm spells and attempts to steal from one another. I want all players to feel mutually respected, and so if PVP is something that feels like a natural progression of the story, please first bring it up with me and the other players involved so that everyone's thoughts can be heard and so that I can prepare accordingly.
• Inspiration: I award inspiration for doing the recap, answering one of the weekly character questions, or at my discretion for doing something especially cool in game. You may only have two inspirations at a time.

CHARACTER CREATION:

• Roll a 6th level character.
• Play either a Fairy, Goblin, Gnome, Firbolg (Nymphs), Tabaxi, Tieflings (Nymphs), Lupin, Owlin, Kenku, or Aarakocra.
• Allocate these stats however way you see fit: 16, 16, 15, 12, 10, 8
• Start with 175 gold
• Fixed HP, no encumbrance. Milestone leveling.
• Tasha's rules for starting ability point bonuses.
• You may start with an additional feat, choose from the following options: Actor, Alert, Athlete, Chef, Dungeon Delver, Healer, Inspiring Leader, Keen Mind, Linguist, Observant, Prodigy, Poisoner, Skill Expert, Skilled
• Start with an Uncommon magic item that does not raise attack rolls, damage rolls, and spell save dc
• All official and partnered content is allowed - if there's a feature/spell/etc. I don't allow I will let you know before taking it. I am open to looking over your homebrew, however I reserve the right to rebalance it if it gets too powerful. We are all here to have fun.

QUESTIONS

Please answer this google form: https://forms.gle/fBWEDTSum9jaQNoUA

LFM FREE [Online][PF1E][18+] Looking for DM for Dragon party game!

Hello! Me and a friend had an idea to have a game where the entire party is true dragons, ganging up together for a specific reason or just neighbors who have territories next to each other. Rules for how we make true dragon characters can be discussed with the potential GM, though I do own the Dreamscarred Press Monster Class for Dragons, and have had true dragon PC's in my games before using the play as a monster rules. The idea is to really get to enjoy and play into the fantasy of being a dragon in a fantasy setting, be it Golarion or a homebrew world, and interacting with it from a different perspective than normal, and to hopefully feel like a epic dragon!

As such in that regard, we’re looking for a GM to make this game come true. We have a group of four ready to go! The timeslot is currently set on fridays anytime before 11 pm EDT. Platform can be anything you’d like. Message me if interested!

LFM FREE [Online][Voiced][Dnd 5e 2024][Dark Matter][Saturdays 10pm EST] Dreaming of the treasures buried in the stars.

"Amidst the stars so bright and True, and planets set like gems in Askew, sat the hidden treasure generations have Sought, is it worth wars many have Fought, follow the clues scattered amidst worlds Imperiled, seek the first planted in the planet of Emerald."

This was a rhyme that man a child had read in a book about the tales of a mighty space pirate, one who had conquered and explored many a planet in his time. The book was passed around for years, decades, nearly 3 centuries of people telling the tale, and many following the clues to what they presumed was the mentioned planet. Though the news of those Explorers, Plunderers and Treasure Hunters was rarely good, word of Empire agents, Automated Traps, and many, many other threats putting an end to those sorry souls. But still, a free heart yearns for the stars and the adventure that comes with hunting the legends.

This brings us to now, aboard the Imperial Prison Work Vessel 137-56JZ. A place where, for one reason or another, you found yourself working to pay off your debt to The Empire, for whatever crime, or mistake you made. Being used to scuttle and harvest broken and abandoned ships in The Hulking Ring (think Saturns rings, made of old space ships that drift into a giant planets orbit.), working on a small crew with the express goal of salvaging metal and components. Though sometimes, sometimes there's something far, far more valuable then old junk and broken data pads, something that could set you on a whole new course, in the direction of an old childish story...

In case you can't tell, this is a very sci-fi sort of Star Wars meets Treasure Planet game, exploring dangerous planets, avoiding the law, hunting a great and powerful treasure. During this game we'll be using the Dark Matter 5.5E book to reach a certain level of tech, have no fear I own it! So you'll be able to read it to your hearts content. Our game will be run in Roll 20, using their sheets and maps, while using Discord for our calls. I am happy to answer any questions during the interview steps!

LFM FREE Slugblaster Sundays! [Other][FoundryVTT][Sundays, 6 PM MST][Slugblaster][LGBTQ+][Free]

Post image

In the small town of Hillview, teenage hoverboarders sneak into other dimensions to explore, film tricks, go viral, and get away from the problems at home. It’s dangerous. It’s stupid. It’s got parent groups in a panic. And it’s the coolest thing ever.

Hey! I'm Clover (He/Him) and I'm looking for 1 to 2 more players for a one-shot and short Slugblaster campaign. Wanting to move away from D&D with my main home game, chosen from some other options we will probably go back to and try out later (Daggerheart top amongst them), the group has settled on Slugblaster and is looking to try out a short one-shot sometime in September and likely transition into a short campaign, possibly with the same characters.

Sessions (and the one-shot) are weekly on Sundays starting at 6 PM MST with a cut-off at 10 PM MST, this schedule is set in stone and unlikely to change anytime soon. My hope is that should everything be a good fit, this is a group that can continue on generally system-agnostic (doing a formal system vote at the end of every campaign) but keeping the same schedule as it were as long as everyone is having fun and can make the timeslot. If you are looking for a quick system test or something super casual/low commitment, this is probably not the group for you.

Generally, we are a group that have been playing for a long time together, close to 8 years for some of the more senior members (having some folks come and go over the years). One of our players GMs on a different day of the week and we try to get together for chatting, gaming, or watching movies every so often. I'm looking for people that would be interested (schedules permitting) to jump around some different systems following this campaign, maybe try their own hand at GMing (if interested), and above all else just be a good hang. As a group, we've played and completed a number of 5e games (both homebrew & modules), and tried out some other systems like LANCER and Kids on Bikes. I (and I think the group as well) always find myself coming back to RP-heavy systems with interesting worlds and malleable mechanics, which is why Slugblaster stood out to me. All of us in the group (me + 3 players) are in our early to mid 20's and live around the continental U.S, mostly in EST and CST time zones.

On that note, I have no problem if this is your first time playing Slugblaster (as it will be with all of us). However, some experience with TTRPGS as a whole is a plus as we are all 5+ year players and DMs and have a grasp on roleplaying and general game mechanics between systems. I don't mind helping people out, however I don't want to feel like I'm playing anyone's characters for them. Having done some research on Slugblaster, familiarity with what kind of character you'd be interested in or touchstones you're pulling from are a plus as well.

If you are less familiar with Slugblaster these are some good resources to look into -Slugblaster.com, (which includes media touchstones under the Vibes section), and this review by Quinn's Quest (my exposure to the system).

About your Slugmaster
Hey! That's me! I was born and raised in Colorado and I have been running TTRPGS ever since my freshman year of highschool, this group actually being one of the first I started. I love to bake and spent some time in a culinary program after graduating, I have a French Bulldog named Ike who I would die for, and I would like to say that running these games is my biggest passion in life. I really try to put a lot of effort into exploring these worlds and making fun and exciting games for my friends (and mostly selfishly myself, because who doesn't love skateboarding). I've spent some time as a professional DM and currently run a game of Dungeon of the Mad Mage on another day of the week, and I don't think there has been a period in which I haven't been a player or a DM for over the past 8 or so years. I am however, sadly a poser as I have never set foot on a skateboard, but I am hoping my familiarity with Skate 3, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2, and general media from the early 2000s will fill in the gaps. If you have any more questions for me, feel free to save them for interviews!

About the Applicant

There are a few prerequisites that I think are the bare minimum for being a good candidate for this group:

  1. A good internet connection and microphone. Being able to hear you with minimal background noise, distractions, and tech issues will be appreciated, things happen but if this is a weekly occurrence this is probably not a good fit. Access to Discord & FoundryVTT required as well, but familiarity with the latter is less important.
  2. Punctuality, being able to show up to sessions weekly and on time. I don't mind folks taking 5 - 10 to get situated and chat before we get started, but with having a hard cutoff I would like to make the most of our session time. Things happen, however frequent interruptions or schedule conflicts also probably means you are not a good fit for this group. I will always try to give a heads-up well in advance if we need to cancel, and have open communication amongst the players for scheduling. Having played together for almost a decade, this is the main thing I think has been the deciding factor in groups staying together.
  3. A general open-mindedness, kindness, and willingness to engage. We're going to be new scene partners and players together, so remembering that this is a game at its core and everyone is doing their best to tell a fun and interesting story is important. This group does have members that are part of the LGBTQ+ community and any sort of bigotry or hatred will not be tolerated in any way. I have no personal interest to get into deep, real-world politics with our games or trying to spread any ideology any which way, so all I ask is that people are respectful. I want you to be a fan of your character, of the other PCs, and of the world in general. Do crazy stuff! Have fun! Gas up your teammates! If not that, why do we even play TTRPGS?

Apply!

Thank you for reading this far! If you're interested in joining the group, please fill out this Google Form and wait to hear back from me. I will PM anyone over Discord who seems promising and we can have an interview 1-1 to answer any questions you may have and see if you would be a good fit for the group. A short session 0 and one-shot will be scheduled following this (likely 9/20 or 9/27), and if all goes well, transition into a short campaign following.

Tuesday Night D&D — A New Table Begins

Tuesdays at 7:00 PM Eastern | Online via Roll20 + Discord
4–5 Players | Currently Looking for 1–2 More

I'm putting together something a little different: a new D&D table built not just for one adventure, but with the hope of finding the right group of people to play together long-term.

We'll begin with The Sunless Citadel from Tales from the Yawning Portal, a classic adventure taking characters from Level 1 to Level 3 over approximately 6–10 sessions.

The purpose of this first adventure is simple: learn the game, get comfortable with one another, and see if we have the chemistry to become a great long-term group.

New to D&D? Great. Haven't played in years? Welcome back. Veteran player? You're welcome too. I'm happy to teach new players how D&D works, help with character creation, and make sure everyone feels comfortable using Roll20.

What I'm really looking for is good people who want to show up consistently and become invested in the group.

This table will have a healthy mix of roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzles, mystery, and plenty of opportunities to laugh and have fun together. D&D should be a chance to step away from the stress of everyday life for a few hours and spend time with friends—even if those friends start out as strangers.

After The Sunless Citadel, we'll take a look at how the group feels. If we have great chemistry and everyone wants to continue, my hope is to build this into a long-term campaign with the same players.

About the Paid Table

There is a $15 per-session seat fee.

I know paid D&D isn't for everyone, and that's completely okay. There are many fantastic free games out there.

I've personally run both free and paid games, and I've found that a small table fee often helps create something valuable: commitment. Players are more likely to consistently show up, stay invested in their characters, and respect the time everyone puts into the game.

The fee also helps cover the costs of running the game, including books, subscriptions, Roll20, maps, music, and other resources—along with the many hours of preparation that go into creating a great session.

I'm not looking to fill seats with just anyone.

I'm looking for four to five adults who want to build something together.

Right now, three players are already confirmed, and I'm looking for 1–2 more to complete the table.

If you're looking for a welcoming group, a DM happy to teach, and a chance to become part of a consistent long-term campaign, send me a message.

LFM PAID [5.5e][Homebrew][Thursday] "Use My Body… To Save The Others…" [15$]

The demon at the end of your sword is not fighting anymore. The horns are gone. The eyes are human again, and frightened, and grateful.

"Use my body… to save the others…"

You keep the promise. You always do — because their body is how you reach the next one, and the next, and the ones still waiting in the dark.

Demon by demon. Vessel by vessel. Until you liberate the Demon King himself.

Every boss you defeat becomes one of your playable characters, alongside the one you make yourself: a growing roster to choose from, build, and level up. No permadeath. Homebrew open world with exploration, mystery-solving, social play, heists, competitions, puzzles, and NPCs who act on real motivations and faction allegiances.

Free private 1-hour Session 0 — you prepare a character, I run your personal prologue. No commitment.

LFG FREE [Online] [D&D 5e 2014] [Bi-Weekly Saturdays 5-8pm CST] [LGBTQIA+ Friendly] Sinfodder: Vertices of the Hexorison

OVERVIEW

**System**: 2014 D&D 5e (You are allowed to use 2024 weapon mastery rules, 2024 spells/features must be checked with dm beforehand)
**VTT**: We will be using Roll20 for maps and character sheets (D&D Beyond is okay, but a character sheet on Roll20 is also needed), please have something that can easily run Roll20 maps with dynamic lighting.
**Date**: Saturdays, bi-weekly (So September 19, October 3, etc.)- with opportunities to play certain thursday nights if everyone agrees up to a week in advance.
**Time**: 5-8:30pm CST

HOUSE RULES

• **Critical Hits**: Roll double dice (does not double any modifiers).
• Flanking: Allowed! When a creature and at least one ally are within 5ft of the same enemy on opposite sides, that enemy is flanked. Each of the creatures flanking gains advantage on melee attacks against it. You do not gain the effects of flanking if you are also being flanked.
• **Opportunity Attacks:** While typically D&D rules that only willing movement provokes opportunity attacks, I find it to be more fun to rule unwilling movement also does so. I think this allows players to use strategic thinking in combat when doing something that might alter an enemy’s position. However, this rule is a double edged sword, because it can also be used against you.
• **Healing Potions:** Drinking one yourself is a bonus action, feeding one to someone else takes an action. If a player dedicates an action to drinking a healing potion, they receive full benefits (max dice).
• **Attack Rolls/Saving Throws:** Meets it beats it. If you meet someone’s armor class, it is a successful hit. If you meet the DC of a saving throw, you succeed on the save.
• **Initiative**: Rolling a Nat 20 on initiative lets you choose what place you'd like to take in the initiative order.
• **PVP**: I will not allow harmful spells, attacks, or actions to be used on another player without first discussing the matter out-of-character. This also includes charm spells and attempts to steal from one another. I want all players to feel mutually respected, and so if PVP is something that feels like a natural progression of the story, please first bring it up with me and the other players involved so that everyone's thoughts can be heard and so that I can prepare accordingly.
• **Inspiration**: I award inspiration for doing the recap, answering one of the weekly character questions, or at my discretion for doing something especially cool in game.

LFM FREE The Orcus War: The Deadfall - [Online][5.5e 2024][18+][Inclusive][Free][Long-term][Weekly][Saturdays][3:00 PM PDT]

Welcome to The Orcus War: The Deadfall. Yesterday, the world was normal. Today, it is not. Overnight, the Deadfall arrived, a creeping blight that drains life, warmth, and memory from everything it touches. The sky is paler. The air is colder. The dead are not staying dead. Something happened in Chult. An ancient witch doctor named Mursai has risen, and the heroes who tried to stop him fell.

You know fragments of what came before: a half-orc paladin, a grave robber chosen by the Raven Queen, a wizard marked by a hag, and a warlock who lost everything. They fought, they died, and they bought the world one day. A sage named Renzox escaped the Fane of the Night Serpent; he knows what must be done and is in Waterdeep, waiting. A tiefling bard survived a massacre at Blackwood's Fortress; her mind may contain something useful, but she doesn't remember it. The noble bloodlines of Waterdeep carry the curse in their veins, and their blood may be the key to undoing it.

The previous party failed, but their failure was not meaningless. They left a path. The hammer is waiting, and we are looking for players who can create a new character that shares a deeply woven connection to this unfolding story. To ensure you know what you are applying for, please listen to The Orcus War actual play on the Paradox Storyforge YouTube channel before submitting your application.

What kind of character concept are you thinking of bringing to this campaign?
