I am currently replaying RF4 and honestly, it just is the best game out of the series for me. Story + interaction wise I just adore it. You can be such an unhinged gremlin with your answers 😭🫰🏻

Idk what they were on when they wrote these dialogues but gosh I wish the other games had that same charm. RF5 left me rather disappointed. GoA was worth my while but simply not on THAT level of fun.

I have hopes for Rf6 but.. only slim ones. 😭🫶🏻

I've been busy trying to raise Vishnal's FP to romance him. I've finally learnt how to make ice cream which Vishnal likes. So, when he came around for the usual good morning wake up call, I gifted him with an ice cream. This was first time I've received something back when gifting people, so pretty darn happy ❤️

Then before I could hand him another gift, he rushed out so I gave him a chase. He then tells me he doesn't like turnips (which I was about to gift him LOL). So, I was going to swap the gift but then I got curious... so I gave him a turnip anyway (yes, how mighty cruel of me 😂). He then advised that Arthur would appreciate turnips more... but his reaction following that made me raise my eye brow... Is this his jealousy dialogue? As in, he doesn't want Frey to gift Arthur with turnips and get close to him? If yes, wow, I'm starting to see why RF4 is so beloved. The detail is amazing.

I have less than 10 Days of Spring left in Rune Factory 4... Is it enough Time to befriend him and Unlock the Special Place before the End of the First Spring of the Game?

Any Tips on what I should use this Event for? ^-^ I know where I have to go to Progress with the Story but I wanna use this Opportunity to do Cool Stuff... :3

How was the experience for you guys? I'm personally heavily disappointed with the shift of the fixed angle and charming, simpler graphics to rotatable 3D and that's why I stayed away from it for so long but does the story at least make up for it cause so far I'm not convinced. And idk all of the mechanics of the game just makes everything such a chore to do, idk if there's anything that'll make me continue. So far the only good thing about it is the same-sex romance options

I am near the end of the main story (defeated the first boss, the tank, and think there are three more). And so far I have had zero romantic events. I triggered a few town events but so far confessing to bachelorettes has it taken as joke or misunderstood. While I have been fancying Forte, I do think I might just choose whoever is first availble to marry. I've read many good things about married life in this game and would like to experience for myself but when can I expect progress? I am playing the 3DS version which I think is more RNG than Special.

I finally am finishing a second paly of 2 this time with Aaron (having done Aria already). And one detial Leann mentions of the Stoller Chalice is that the couple kept quarreling over it before selling it. It is a refernce to Sabrina and Neumann from the first game. I actually played 2 before 1 so I did not catch it of course and had forgotten the detail when I played 1. But it is exciting to notice new details on replaying games you did not realize first time.

And Sera and Serena are the first marriage candiates in the franchise to both be able to marry the character of same gender and to have more than two marry. They will marry Aria as well as Aaron. And will marry in a pair which has not been done in any other game. While the idea is that they are kids who do not understand marriage (hence mistaking toast which seems to mean the sense of drinking in this context to be instead literal toasted bread with marmalade), it is interesting given at the time bi relations were not in most games at the time and poly has so far not been implemented. What do you think of it?

Can you add items in the extra slots while crafting/forging to gain bonus stats? I know you can do it in rf4 but everytime i try doing it in this game i always fail even though the success rate is close to 100%

But I found RF5 controls just too clunky to get into the game and I am playing RF4 instead... the fact I read about him and Beatrice didn't help either lol. I also think he look better with Beatrice than Alice visually.

Anyway, so I've started my RF4 journey instead. Here is hoping I will like Vishnal since he is most visually appealing to me (also think he look great together with Frey)

1. How can I avoid “Plot Jail”? I’ve just finished up the Autumn Village, and I’ve seen threads where people mention that certain characters become unavailable due to the main story’s plot.
   
2. Am I supposed to socialize with everyone each day? I’ve been talking/hanging out with all the characters, and I’ve noticed that by the time I’m done talking to everyone, half the day is already gone.
   
3. How much of a priority is leveling seeds? I’ve been building stuff for each of the three villages, so I haven’t really been using the Flaming Sword to level up my seeds since I need the income. Is this something I should start prioritizing?

My RP goes down a lot, then i just wait to julias bathhouse to open or just sleep, but i think i was to much time with that. Is there any way i could get a food that restores my RP or something like that?

this is Kumonga he is my partner kaiju in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma. right now he is currently at level 165 and he helped me a lot in the game since he is the guardian kaiju of Azuma. his favorite food are mostly sea creatures, fish, other monsters, and bandits that tried to attack each village. Kumonga's home is mostly at the Spring Village where Ulalaka lives in. however while he gets along with Woolby, Ulalaka, Matsuri, Fubuki, Kai, and Kanata he doesn't get along with Kurama much as they usually butt heads with each other. Kumonga is also the Azuma equivalent to the Monsterverse Godzilla. which monster was your partner in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma?

RF 6 looks really good, however I have not played any of the RF games. I’ve played other farming sims, just not any with lots of combat, but I would be open to it!

i’m currently on the last part of rune prana and encountered gates that requires giant crops to be unlocked. problem is that i haven’t gotten any of them yet.

is unlocking those gates required for me to be able to rescue ventuswill or not? thank you!

I'm currently playing Guardians of Azuma and am reaching the point after completing Winter Village quests, currently searching for Astral Shrines. So far tbh I am a bit overwhelmed with the options of villagers (and monsters) to be added as your party members (especially now that I can add up to 6 members).

So I have some questions regarding party here. Sorry if it's quite a lot to ask:

1. What is the "ideal" formation of party in your definition? Currently I'm sticking of the first 3 to be Buffer, Debuffer, and Attacker/Defender. But I'm a bit overwhelmed if need to choose 3 more.
2. Is there any difference of having someone as Attacker/Defender/Buffer/Debuffer/Healer compared with others with same role? Like what's the point of having both Ulalaka and Mauro as Healers, is there any benefit of specifically choosing either one of them? Maybe we can exclude Suzu as Buffer since she's like "immortal" IMO.
3. Coming from questions 1 and 2, do you think it's better to keep having only one "set" party members (e.g. always having Suzu as Buffer) or rotating between the same role (rotating Suzu and Watarase/Fubuki).
4. Is adding monsters as your party member worth it in the long run?
