Has anyone received a phone call from Walmart benefits? I did today & the lady said they were reaching out to make sure everything in my life was going ok. I had been ignoring their call because they weren’t calling me by my name. It was someone else’s name on the messages. I did talk to them. I didn’t realize they had this available to the employees. I also participate in the Twin Health program they offer. It is FANTASTIC! And it’s free

I’ve been hired a few months and I like the job well enough if we weren’t always DROWNING. People call out all the time and I get calls today on my needed days off to come in and feel bad for saying no. People say it’s not always like this so I’m like did I start at a bad time or? Because mind you it’s the middle of the week so I can only imagine what the weekend will be like. Holy fuck. Or god forbid Christmas or thanksgiving.

So I’ve been a personal shopper a few months and it’s really starting to wear on me. Like I get off work and feel wired from being so active all day and stressed it’s weird. Like I can’t sleep much. It’s a shame because if not for the stress from always being behind or an inch away from being behind, or maneuvering through tons of people I’d probably really love it. I’m full time maybe part time would be better but if not what department do you recommend I go to? And how do I go about doing that. Or any other jobs you recommend that’s chill, mostly solo and pays above minimum wage a lil. Thanks

I have never ever met a Samual in all my fucking life. Only fellow Samuels. But whenever someone meets me and writes something they always default to Samual. What? All the famous ones are EL. I just don't get it.

Whenever someone asks me my name at a food place after I’ve ordered (Starbucks for example),

I say, “Sam”

They lean in with a confused face and say, “Seb?”

I respond with, “No, Sam.”

They say, “Oh, SAM, sorry.”

I say, “That’s alright.”

This happens 90% of the time. I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t say my own name correctly.
