Art My friend painted me Saint Celestine for my birthday and today I put it above my painting desk
Not really used to taking photos of paintings, sorry. This is done with acrylics, but she is mostly a digital artist. if interested you can find more of her work on https://www.instagram.com/a_star_guardian?igsi=ejVwYmFmd3Y4cXc1

Art Homebrew Order: Order of the Misted Veil
A homebrew order I've been working on this last month. Going for a gothic noir theme. Their homeworld is covered in mist that turns their eyes silverish-white.. and well they are a little bit abhuman because of it, so as you can imagine they are not well accepted. They are however fully loyalist. Decided to combine all of the editing techniques I've learned from working on other projects and combine them here.

PS. this is my first post, I thought to post this as contrast to the other post on here with the name of "Order of the Dying Sun"

Meta Imperium of man ‘super hero team’ experiment (volenter phase)
This is basically a experiment I am going to be running across Reddit between the different imperium of man loyalist sub-Reddit’sp
The concept is simple enough, the goal is for the community as a whole to make a ‘imperium of man avengers team’ (more accurately a Inquisitorial kill team in universe, if that makes any sense, but still) with each subfaction adding a member to this team to represent them.
the top comment to each post after 1 week, will be locked in as the choice by the community for their ‘faction representative’ on this. (I will make a update post later when I have all the volenters together)
The only rule, be reasonable about WHO you select for this, as it can’t be any character who would be to BUSY/important, to be on such a team.
Also, feel free to tell me your reasoning as well (I like hearing out how different people got to their conclusions and reasons for it)

List First game of 40K ever next Saturday. Is my list okay?
First game ever as title says. I started collecting and building everything since June.
Starting out in a 1k point game, I do have the paragons and Morvenn Vahl but have heard that in a low point game they can be a little much and I don’t want to be that guy off rip. Im just here to have fun and learn and I don’t expect to win, but does my list make sense and could pull a win?
My plan is to split the dominions w/ flamers and the palatine in the immolator and be aggressive, the rest of the dominions will stay home objective. Cannoness paired w/ sacresants will move mid and hold. Battleline SoB will help mid. Castigator sits back and shoots whatever. repentia in the rhino will wait until some units are chargeable. Seraphim will be in reserves and ready to deep strike when needed. And the penitent engine for pressure wherever.

Hobby Starting a sisters army
Tried some games at 1000 and 2000 points and fell in love with the army, there's so much skill expression with this army, even if we're not in the best place right now.
So anyways, here's my first dab of paint on my sister's ☺️

List Some lower value list advice please
Forward: I'm a bit limited on models right now, but my LGS has 2 leagues - A 1,000 pt league and a 600 pt league.
I've put together 2 lists based on what I have, and I was hoping for some advice for things I might want to buy/change for the future.
For the record, I have the following kits:
Morvenn Vahl
St. Celestine
Sisters Battle Box
Battle Sisters
Paragon Warsuits
Zephyrim
600 pt League:
Group 1:
- 1 × Canoness
- 1 × Sister Superior
- 9 × Battle Sisters
Typical infantry. Nothing special here.
Group 2: * 3 × Arco-flagellants
Honestly, I just needed something to put here. These guys are just disposable melee chaff.
Group 3: * 1 × Morvenn Vahl * 1 × Paragon Superior * 2 × Paragon Warsuits
General ranged, then close to melee. Same thing as my 1000 pt army. The maps for this are smaller though, so I think they'll be really effective. They are the entire army's backbone.
590 pts.
1000 pt League:
Group 1:
- 1 × Morvenn Vahl
- 1 × Paragon Superior
- 2 × Paragon
General ranged, then close to melee. These are my big hitters. Unless I am missing something, this is just what these guys do.
Group 2:
- 1 × St. Celestine
- 1 × Zephyrim Superior
- 4 × Zephyrim
Yes, I know. St. Celestine kinda sucks now, but I like her so I wanna use her. She no longer brings back Zephyrim, but she can still act as a depp strike melee unit. Plus, she looks cool.
Group 3: * 1 × Canoness * 1 × Sister Superior * 9 × Battle Sisters
Just a basic group of buns with guns. Fire support for melee guys. Useful for holding objectives.
Group 4: * 1 × Cannoness * 1 × Sacrosanct Superior * 4 × Celestian Sacrosancts
These guys seem like they're all-arounders. Solid little group.
Group 5: * 1 × Sister Superior * 9 × Battle Sisters
Exactly 1000 pts.
Basically a clone of group 4, but without the canoness. Nothing to write home about. Mostly here to cover the last 100 pts and to sit on an objective.
Any suggestions? This is my first army, so I'm sorry if it kinda sucks.
Edit: Just tried to make it easier to read.

Rules Question Divine guidance (combat patrol)
Hey there, I have a question concerning the usage restriction on 11th edition combat patrol‘s divine guidance ability of the canoness (see picture attached).
Can I use it once per turn for all of my units or just one unit? (Shooting or melee) wouldn’t this effectively mean I could use it almost all the time?
And how about in my opponents turn if it comes to a melee attack that my unit would fight back in.
Thanks it advance for the help and clarification!

List Can't seem to make a sisters list work.
We're playing Take and Hold, with Army of faith and Sacred Champs.
So we have VahlGons cause obviously.
Celestine I want so badly to make work. I usually try to send her to a unit the VahlGons can't deal with super easily.
Canonness and Hospitaller leading Sacs try and stage up near or on the central obj.
Canoness with the Simulacrum half of BSS sits on our expansions generating MD.
Priest and Sanctifiers charge up and try to suicide bomb. (Honestly them and Celestine are vanity picks cause I love the paint job I did on them)
Castigator has honestly been one of my favorite units on the whole army. I'm looking to get another soon.
Rhino sends the Sacresancts up the board for a little protection.
Immolator does the same for the gun half of the bss.
Arco flags die for md. And try to delay an important unit.
Callidus uppy/downies for secondaries and the occasional Cp tax.
The armiger i want to make work cause I feel like the suppression should be powerful. But honestly is probably where I'll get most of the points for the 2nd castigator.

Basically what it says in the title. I know people don’t like the exorcist but it just looks so cool!

Hobby Another batch done
A second unit of sacresants [seraphim (my brain stopped working)]. This time each with a special weapon so I can intermingle them with the old, monopose ones I got with the made to order release that only had bolter pistols for distinguishable special weapons sisters. And another very crazy sister superior.
Next project is gonna have a big kitbash based on another project I saw on here. Gonna give my old canoness Nyomi a glow up with a new model for her.

Hobby What order colors should i pick
Almost done with my first figure but didn’t wanna build them fully till I painted the shield and head first from what was told to me on my previous post. Im just wondering what order i should paint them as I like all of em so just been stuck on the decision. I know its not like space marine chapters where the type of chapter you pick determines your play style so mainly some recommendations that would be welcomed (or do I say fk it and do custom colors)
