i am 12 years old, and shouldnt be posting this out of nowhere and stuff not knowing if i cause myself to get in trouble, but i had to. do you guys know Monstercat? the department who creates banger music? i just notice this for like 3 years ago now, and i wanted to point out, whenever you listen to Monstercat's old music, Frame of mind, and the modern one, Drifters. you could hear the difference between them, where They are referencing something similar, and that is trying to let go of the past, in a different and separate ways, i know this is late for me, and how the year gap of the music isn't good but hear me out. What im trying to say is that, Drifters and Frame of mind share the same topic, like trying to let go of the past, in a different way:
Frame of mind: Frame of mind features something, about trying to lend a hand for the person in the dark, like enduring the pain of isolation, and loneliness, with no one to help the person out. it may had been release in 2014, but it serves a great purpose if this soundtrack we're to mix with Drifters.
Drifters: Drifters is something different, because Drifters music is slightly more happy and nostalgic, Drifters offers something peaceful, but the subject of the music is similar to Frame of mind. Frame of mind may talk about being isolated, and all alone in their life, but Drifter is the exat opposite, because Drifters sings about trying to break the clouds!, and that clouds is the problem of the person's life, For an Example: A teenager boy is all alone, isolated, and depressed in a lonely life while trying to accept of being alone, then 5 years later, the Teenager is now an adult, and as he entered the adult stage of human life, a girl lending a hand for him comes up, like someone is there to help him out, when he needed it long ago!
The Phrase Of Frame of mind's Lyrics "Right here in my arms, away from all harm, You'll be safe from all the flares, although i know you don't care" it indicates that the person gave up on his purpose on life, before the girl's presence came, and change the perspective of the boy.
it's just a theory of mine, but it is rarely spotted, because monstercat would just then post Songs and didnt think much of the lyrics actually connecting with each other. But the Year gap is actually important for this, because the frame of mind features a teenage boy, that had given up on life, and live like the rest of the people, while not caring for his mental health anymore, then 5 years later, the boy is in the stage of an adult, and where his life finally began to change, when the girl from drifters comes in, and lends him a hand, giving him a supporting hand. i know this is late, because it has been 7 years, ever since Drifters had been posted, and frame of mind being 11 years old now. but i wanted to see if any by chance, monstercat could see this, and bring back the golden era. i know im 12 years old, and doesnt know about this stuff, but i actually do, and i listen to songs like this with my brother and Older brother all the time!, my 1st brother, is 22 - 23 years old now, and my brother is 17 - 18. i hope you guys can understand, and bye!
