I know people are going to bring up the prophecy but even though Anakin is still the chosen one as shown in return of the Jedi we’re never actually given a solicitation of the prophecy beyond “he will bring balance to the force”. The movies never say “the chosen one must be of virgin birth”. Even George Lucas has said that whatever way Anakin was conceived doesn’t change the fact that he still fulfilled the prophecy.

It could be Qui Gon just over reading this and thinking the prophecy is more complex than it actually is.

Seeing live-action young Ahsoka was awesome. I know the clone wars have already been pretty heavily tread and re-tread, but if we get any more this would be the way to do it, especially if they can get Temuera Morrison back to voice some of the clones alongside Dee Bradley Baker, and keep the plot down to just the key arcs and cut the filler episodes as needed.

This feels weird.

They feel different but at the same time their designs do fit for Star Wars.

They have some great merch from Skywalker Ranch, Skywalker Vineyards, and various SW episodes. I was surprised by all of the fun stuff. Of course, the Yoda statue is nearby too.

I'm just sad that the TSA confiscated my jar of Skywalker jelly on my flight home 😢

He knows he’s skilled enough to take on a Jedi, and with Luke not being very experienced, Bane probably could have whupped the whole crew of the Falcon, except maybe Chewie.

Mandalorian and Grogu finally comes out tomorrow on Disney+ I watched first in theaters the day it came out and really liked it now im going to stay up late to watch it again.... anyone else as excited as I am?

I like this fight out of all the fights in the Sequel trilogy because it felt like it mixed well with both the context and how lightsabers were done in the Sequel trilogy. Lightsabers were generally treated more weighty or less elegant than the previous movies, which for me did make some fight scenes weird, but works here since Finn isn't experienced with a lightsaber and thus would be using it awkwardly like a club similar to what the Stormtrooper is doing and it makes everything make sense for why both characters are moving the way they are.

The only thing I didn't like was how quickly it ended.
