hi everyone! so, i went to use my headphones earlier, only to find they weren't working at ALL. i couldn't turn them on, off, i even tried charging them and that just didn't work. its like they died completely which is so weird because literally last night they were working? so i don't understand what happened in the 12 or so hours i didn't use them, but i'm not sure what to do. these were expensive and i haven't even had them for 3 months yet so if anyone has any suggestions please lmk

when I tried to update my firmware for my headset it’s not working. It won’t even let me click it every time I do click it nothing even happens. I need help

Setup: Arctis Nova Pro Wireless + Alias

Never had any issues with my setup, and hasn't changed for several months. This started happening a week ago with no changes on my end at all.

Whenever I'm playing something, the Steelseries GG window keeps getting focused in the middle of my screen every 10-15mins. Moments are completely disabled.

Then, few minutes after getting focused, it's like it crashes internally. My mic completely cuts off but I can still hear everything. Nothing passes through Sonar even though I see my Alias lighting up and picking up sound.

The fix is simply exiting and reopening Steelseries GG and this drives me mad every time cos there's no indication of anything happening, only when people say "cant hear you anymore" on Discord.

Did a full reinstall, run as admin, etc etc. Nothing works and I'm 1 day away from throwing the headset out the window...

Title pretty much sums it all up. Had these a month or so and once every few days I'll be gaming with friends through Discord on my PS5 Pro and I'll get disconnected. Any help?

Would I be crazy to buy refurbished headset for 185, rather than pay the 399? If anybody has any experience with it.

I really like this mouse, the main feature that i enjoy is the small flappy paddle above the side buttons, I use the Steel series software to bind this to scroll up and down and it saves having to scroll wheel excessively in some games or even just when browsing.

Dose anyone know of another mouse with a similar feature?

I want to stream to YouTube via an elgato 4K S capture card using Stream OBS. My concern is audio and party chat being captured as i use the steelseries arctis nova pro omni via the game dac. Does anyone know if this will work with the above capture card and will it capture my audio and party chat? Thanks.

I shut down and updated my pc and it just didnt reconnect when I booted it back up. I tried plugging in the receiver but it still didnt connect. Please help I cant play any rhythm based games because of this.

I am incredibly happy with my Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro Omni. This is my first premium headset. I've always just made do with a $50 solution. The sound is amazing. The sound stage for movies is immersive. Music sound. Like my own private concert. The only thing I don't like is that a PC is requires for updates. I am poor and don't own a PC. I game and watch media on my PS5. I just wish the mobile app did everything the PC app does. It's my only gripe.

I've been using SS Arctis Gamebuds for the last couple years and they are PHENOMENAL. The audio quality, latency, battery life, it's brilliant.

HOWEVER! I've gone through 4 pairs in those 2 years. It seems that every 6 months they seem to get fucked up somehow. Whether it's from the buds no longer charging without plugging the case in first, or the volume in one of the buds becomes excruciatingly low with no way to restore it. In one instance I've had the buds make a high pitched squeal in ANC mode. I love these things so much, I just can't keep paying £160 every 6 months. I don't know if I'm using them wrong or if they just aren't as durable as I thought.

Does anyone have a solution to any of the problems stated above?

I have the Arctis Nova Pro and Im enjoying it. The issue has been the software. Windows will create multiple instances of the headset and the DAC will command the wrong one. I can't even hear out of one and it will create issues when trying to use Sonar. It occurs usually when I have to restart the headset or repair the device. Any help? Thanks :)

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently got my Arctis Nova Elite headset and have been loving it so far, however today I noticed my iphone connects to the headset via bluetooth just fine but I hear no audio. I've tried forgetting the device on my phone, restarted my iphone several times and even synced it to my wife's iphone and still no audio. Has anyone come across this issue and found a solution? I really don't want to have to go through the replacement process but I will if needed since the headset was very expensive. I'd much rather keep my headset if I can since, like I said, I've been loving it so far. Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Really only worried about audio quality as I know both mics are good, but answers seem to be mixed. I will have a PC and PS5 connected to alternate between for gaming, but have other headsets/headphones for music and video content. Is the Elite audio quality still better after EQing the Omni's for gaming?

My arctis prime earpads are pretty much destroyed, all i see is nova replacment will it fit prime and one more thing which earpads are best im mostly looking for comfort

Hi guys I’ve had my rival 650 wireless for a few months now I had my previous one for over a year I ended up having to buy a new one because my old one just wouldn’t turn on any more and it worked fine after a couple of months but suddenly it just started getting stuck trying to switch profiles or something I guess when I launch a game or any app it rapidly connects and disconnects and eventually my pc tells me that the usb wasn’t recognized and when I rest the mouse it’s just caught in a bootloop and does the samething until I reset it and I’m able to use it again until I click on an app or start a game I’ve tried everything I’ve contacted support and gotten the recovery file I’ve tried hard resetting the pc I’ve deleted windows and reinstalled it and I even wipe my motherboard and reinstalled all up to date drivers and bios software still didn’t fix it I’ve read almost every form possible and this is my last resort

I bought headphones Arctis nova 3 wireless, and recently I'm having issue that headphonnes will connect to Pc/phone but for usualy liek 15-20 minutes of restarting/re-pairing both using Bluetooth or 2.4 for them to work till next time I turen them off. Anybody has some fix?

Hey, I'm having a problem with my Arctis Nova Pro Wired headset. The ear cushions are already pretty worn out. I tried buying new ear cushions on Amazon. But they were too thin and a bit smaller than the originals that came with the headset. This made the sound really bad—everything was distorted, the bass was way too loud, etc. I think that was because my ear was touching the drivers or resting directly on them. Okay, so I figured I’d just buy the originals directly from SteelSeries. But when they arrived today, it was the same thing. They’re much thinner than the ear cushions that came with the headset. How is it possible that the original replacement ear cushions you buy from SteelSeries are thinner than the ones that came with the headset in the first place? I just can’t find any ear cushions that are exactly like the originals—not even from SteelSeries itself. They’re all way too thin, so my ears completely cover the drivers.

This is how it looks after a week. This is not sweat or oil or anything, the surface is noticably different there when I touch it.

Sucks for a headset that almost covers my monthly salary. 🙃

It also clamps on my head so hard that I can hear my own heartbeat.

I’ll give credit where credit is due: the Apex 3 TKL is a good keyboard. It feels solid, types well, and there’s a lot to like about it.

And yet, somehow, I regret buying it.

The one thing that absolutely baffles me is the caps lock indicator.

How does a company design and release a keyboard where the caps lock light doesn’t actually change when caps lock is turned on or off?

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been typing at night, only to realize halfway through that CAPS LOCK has been on the entire time. It has been an absolute nightmare. And what makes it even more frustrating is that there isn’t even a setting in the software to fix it. No option to change the indicator behavior. No workaround. Apparently, this was just... a design decision. And whats even worse, there doesn’t seem to have been any meaningful attempt to address it with a firmware update.

I reached out to their support team trying to address the long-standing issue, and get the response of, “Well, you could have purchased one of our other keyboards that has that feature.” Okay... but then what was the point of designing a keyboard where the caps lock indicator doesn’t indicate whether caps lock is actually on or off? That’s literally the entire purpose of an indicator light...

I understand leaving out advanced features to keep a keyboard affordable. I understand not having every feature on every model. But a basic status indicator for a basic keyboard function seems like the absolute bare minimum since what? the 1980s?

So yeah, I actually like this keyboard. That’s what makes this so frustrating.

I praise a lot about the Apex 3 TKL, but if I had known beforehand that I’d be dealing with this ridiculous c aps lock issue every time I typed, I never would have bought it. Sometimes it’s the smallest design decisions that make you wonder, “Who approved this?”

I’m a big guy, 6'4" with pretty large hands, and I can cover roughly 60% of the keyboard with both hands. Despite that, I actually found the compact design pretty comfortable. The keys are soft and responsive, and the amount of resistance felt just right for gaming without accidentally pressing neighboring keys. It also worked really well for productivity, both at work and outside of work.

I guess if you like the compact design and the whole “rainbow vomit” RGB thing, it’s a decent budget keyboard. The keys were very soft/smooth in terms of touch and felt great for gaming, with just enough resistance to prevent accidentally triggering other keys or actions. It definitely fit my needs for productivity, both at work and outside of work.

But if you need a functioning caps lock indicator, this keyboard is not for you.

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me troubleshoot an issue with Sonar.

I’ve been using my Arctis Nova 7 for over a year without issues, but recently the Sonar channel routing and mute controls completely stopped working as intended.

The Problems:

1. Turning the physical ChatMix wheel on the right earcup visibly moves the ChatMix slider inside GG in real time, but the actual volume balance between Game and Chat does not change in the headset at all.

2. Muting individual virtual channels (Game, Chat, etc) inside the Sonar mixer has zero effect—audio continues to play at full volume regardless.

Hey there everyone i want to upgrade the setup to include all forms of gaming (pc,xbox and ps5) and i was wondering if i could simply buy the sound deck for the omni instead of having to buy a full new headset as i have a wireless nova pro xbox edition, and was wondering if i could simply buy the eq deck itself to use the headset on all three?

Je possède un SteelSeries nova pro wireless depuis environ 2 ans et demi.

Hier je vais à la plage et mon casque décide de buguer sans aucune raison il n'est pas tombé dans le sable ni dans l'eau.

Il s'allume de façon aléatoire et s'éteint genre en répétition

Ensuite il s'éteint et le bouton power ne veut plus clignoter et genre pendant 40m impossible de l'allumer même en changeant les batteries.

Que ce soit le Bluetooth ou le bouton power pour la ps5 aucun clignotement.

Et d'un coup il s'allume marche pendant 30m et s'éteint complètement et impossible de l'allumer et des fois pire il s'éteint en 10s pourtant je peux voir la jauge des batteries rempli.

Les batteries sont neuves et en 2 ans et demi je n'ai jamais eu se problème le seul problème que j'ai eu c'était le micro catastrophique pour un casque à près de 400€

Évidemment la garantie est morte j'ai envoyé un mail expliquant le problème du micro + la preuve d'achat en espérant un geste commercial la garantie était morte de quelques mois évidemment il n'ont rien voulu savoir sachant que le micro grésille à mort il m'est devenu impossible de communiquer avec mes amis sans les remarque de mon micro ridicule.

Ah si il sont sympa un bon de réduction de 15% pour l'achat d'un casque merci les gars évidemment le bon ne fonctionne pas sur des casques haut de gamme comme l'élite j'ai voulu essayer

De plus je n'ai pas de pc du coup pour les maj c'était chez un amis et j'étais comblé de joie d'apprendre qu'une application Android était disponible je l'installe et j'apprends que mon casque n'est pas compatible et je vois des modèles bas de gamme l'être je leurs envoie un avis salé et évidemment depuis se jours là aucune maj de comptabilité pour rendre le SteelSeries nova pro wireless avec un peu plus d'options.

De plus j'apprécie le côté Bluetooth je l'utilise beaucoup sur mon s25 ultra déçu des normes Bluetooth inexistant même pas un petit SBC rien quand j'apprends que même l'élite n'a pas APTx trouvable sur des écouteurs à 80€....

Ah si un LC3 + wow une technologie qui date depuis des années..

Franchement honteux cette marque qui ne fait pas d'effort quand je vois le prix de l'élite et le peu de normes Bluetooth embarqué dessus et un micro moins bien que le omni bizarre et surtout qui ne font pas d'effort à rendre compatible certains casque.

Alors oui il est bien en soi

En investissant dans des cousinets vu qu'il n'offre pas de rechange.

Le système à double batterie bien également qui lâche au bout de 2 ans j'ai récemment acheter des batteries chinoises à 1200 mA toujours mieux que les 700 de base

Si quelqu'un connaît un casque gaming avec un excellent micro, compatible Bluetooth avec des normes récentes
