I might be the AH in this situation, but since this is StubHub we're talking about I do not mind.

Couple of months ago I purchased a set of very competitively priced tickets to a local sporting event that's taking place later this year. I believe the tickets were sold by a broker as they are showing over 100k tickets sold.

Couple of days after the sale the seller had likely realized that they can get a lot more for the tickets and I got an email saying that there was an issue delivering my tickets, which I imagine means that the seller let StubHub know that they're not going to be delivering the tickets.

My guess from going to similar events throughout the years is that the prices to the event will not get to the price point I paid, so the automated system will not find replacement tickets on its own.

Are there any ways of forcing StubHub to deliver comparable tickets? StubHub would likely have to eat few hundred dollars in extra costs if they do that.

Hey everyone, just want to hear your advice. I bought tickets for a concert tonight, 9/1 @7PM. I bought them in 8/26. I still haven’t received my tickets and it’s currently 11:30AM the day of. Getting a little nervous and anxious. I called StubHub and they said the seller has until 4PM the day of to send me my tickets. Should I be nervous?

Bought tix, but now unable to attend. Trying to see about relisting them back on Stubhub. Went through the steps, set price etc, then added them. Then this message came up :

"Your listing is live, but tickets haven't been provided yet. Please provide them now, to avoid issues when your listing gets sold" Bought the tickets few days ago, they arrived this morning in an email. Not sure what I'm supposed to "provide". The actual tix came today, so shouldn't the site know this? Event is this Saturday, so trying to move these through. What do I need to do, if anything, or since they sent the tix earlier, if someone buys them, Stubhub will forward the electronic info? Thank you

I bought tickets to an event that were Orchestra Center, Row L. When the tickets were delivered, they were actually Orchestra Left, Row W. Further back and to the side. Obviously the ticket marked "ORCHL" was mistakenly advertised as ORCHC Row L. I don't know if the person listing them was confused or being intentionally deceitful.

The event isn't for a month so I have some time. I have emailed StubHub support and requested that I be given tickets for Orchestra Center and an equal or better row. Is this something they will do and I do need to push back / escalate if the resolution they come back with is lacking? I worry they will find other seats near Orchestra L Row W and try to just refund me the difference in price, but I specifically bought tickets because it's important to me to be relatively front and center.

Any advice or history you guys have with these types of situations would be helpful so I can know what the possible outcomes are. I'd prefer not to just get a full refund and buy new tickets because (perhaps for a reason) these tickets I thought I purchased were a great deal.

Dodger Stadium fans, beware. I am certain this has happened to other people, but this is my first experience with the parking scam. I paid for parking through StubHub when I bought my tickets to an upcoming game. My fault for assuming I was paying for parking at dodger Stadium. Instead, I was redirected (after the transaction had processed) to a third-party app called Spot hero. The location of the lot is/was over a mile from the stadium. No big deal, if you’re down to hike to the stadium. Then the price difference happened. $33 for parking through StubHub. The actual lot cost was $10.78. StubHub cleared $22 off of one isolated transaction. When I asked customer service about the $22 that was not accounted for, the AI said it was for “processing fees and outsourcing”. This is the cost of being a Dodger Fan, I realize that, but I was caught off guard when I clicked the link to Spot Hero. I’ll consider this my donation to the StubHub Xmas party. At least someone over there will enjoy the free cash, I Hope…

Like I said….I listed 8 tickets for Harry Styles, listed in pairs and they do not show up when I search them. I bought Amex presale so not sure if that makes a difference. I have no filters on and the row my tickets are in just don’t show up when I search them. Price is competitive if that matters. Less than I paid. Anyone experience this and what do I do about it??

Last week, I got a link for a ticket transfer. It came directly from Ticketmaster to my email. It has my section/row/seat. I never got any notification from Stubhub that my tickets were ready. I went to open the link and am getting a message that it’s invalid. I messaged Stubhub and they said they need to contact the seller to resend the link. The event is tonight. Nothing. When I call Stubhub, they put me on hold and say they are trying to contact the seller. Ten minutes later, they come back telling me they are unable to. This has happened multiple times.

What do I do?

Bought two tickets to Kanye in Chicago for Friday. Spent $300 per. It’s now a $700 get in. Seller never delivered and we finally got an email saying the seller would be unable to.

Stubhub set me a link to find replacements but the map is empty, literally no options. We are traveling to Chicago for the show and are gutted. I can’t believe the company can get away with this.

Just got this email from Andrew McMahon, who’s pissed about scalpers buying out his tickets and exploiting his fans. StubHub enabling this behavior by allowing speculative selling ignoring artist attempts to limit reselling.

I started listing the games I can't attend individually, and listed a couple with the season ticket wallet. I noticed that I transfer the tickets right away when I list them individually. I guess I only transfer the tickets after they sell when I use the season ticket wallet/feature? Is this a confusing process?

Is anybody else getting this when trying to access your listings, sales, or customer service? I seem to still be able to find tickets and go to checkout, but I can’t access my listing to lower the price of my tickets.

Update: it’s working for me now. Hopefully for everyone else too!

I already bought my tickets and received them into my Wallet on my phone. But I got an email that says:

“We're sorry there was an issue with your order. We hope this makes your experience a little better.”

And it gave me a $60 coupon.

But I already paid for the tickets and like I said. They’re on my phone.

Anyone else? Should I be worried the tickets won’t work?

Hi! I'm hoping someone here has dealt with this before because I’m confused about how I’m supposed to resell one of my tickets.

I bought 2 tickets for a concert through StubHub a few months ago. When I go to My Tickets -> Orders ->Claim Ticket, it opens a page where I can see both tickets with their live/rotating barcodes and seat information.

The problem is that the tickets were never transferred into my Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, or any other ticketing account, and I don't see any option to transfer them.

There is an “Add to Google Wallet” button underneath the ticket, but that button also does not work for me, so the only place I can currently access the tickets is through the Claim Ticket link from my StubHub order.

I now need to sell one of the two tickets, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do that.

When I use StubHub's “Sell your ticket” option, it asks what type of ticket I'm listing and then asks “Where are your tickets stored?” The choices are Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Other, or Unknown.

If I choose Other, it requires me to select a ticket vendor from a long list. StubHub isn't one of the options, and I have no idea what vendor is actually hosting these tickets since all I received was the Claim Ticket link/live barcode.

I tried StubHub's chat support. It told me that I should be able to resell the ticket directly through StubHub and that the barcode details would be handled as part of the listing process. It told me to select Other, but when I pointed out that the form then requires me to select a specific ticket vendor, it couldn't tell me which one to choose and directed me to contact an agent.

Has anyone received StubHub tickets this way and successfully resold one of them? What did you select for the ticket vendor, and how did you deliver the ticket to the new buyer?

I'm especially worried about listing it, having someone buy it, and then discovering that I can't actually transfer/deliver it to them

My cousin sold $2k in Ariana Grande tickets on StubHub over a month ago and still hasn't been paid. After 4 calls to support, today they told her to wait 45 days. Anything else she can do? Thanks in advance.

In a moment of anger I filed a dispute with StubHub after waiting months for my tickets and not even knowing what section they would be in. I reached out to them multiple times and they told me they emailed the seller but didn’t hear back.

I have since withdrawn the dispute, will I still get my tickets for the upcoming concert? I know I messed up but I was fed up

I haven't used Stubhub much or sold on it at all, but wow – this has to be the most bogus platform I've seen.

My listing - because it is not in the recommended price range - DOES NOT EVEN SHOW.

I understand that many times you have to change the setting to sort by all instead of the default sort by recommended. Stubhub also doesn't know what the definition of sort vs filter is, idiots. Why in the heck wouldn't it show all listings no matter the price it's set at? They are gonna make their money. I'm literally making zero money pricing it the way I did bc tickets are expensive.

Also btw my $160 listing would be $214 for the customer - Stubhub is outrageous with this sh*t

I listed tickets for the first time ever for a concert on 9/9. I did all the steps they asked including transferring the mobile tickets to stub hub. The tickets sold about a week later and show as completed. I still see my tickets in my original Ticketmaster account listed as transfer pending. Is this normal? I guess I don't get paid out until after the event but the fact that they show as pending and the sale says complete has me worried. I am worried I'm not doing something right to make sure the buyer has the tickets. Any advice or experience?

StubHub event was called “National Symphony Orchestra - Gianandrea Noseda - Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.” The actual event was called “Gershwin, Bernstein & American Mosaic - National Symphony Orchestra.”

I only attended the event for Beethoven, but I only realized it wasn’t when I got there. I wanted a refund or recourse of any kind. They say that I attended the event, so they can’t offer anything.

Isn’t this false advertising? I wouldn’t have gone if I knew the correct title in advance. Are stubhub customers always supposed to check with the actual artist beforehand that the details of the event on stubhub’s site are correct?

Are you able to buy tickets for City games on StubHub? I see tickets on sale, but I have also seen that the Premier League might not accept tickets on StubHub. Has anyone done this before?

I bought tickets for the Harry Styles concert at MSG this Wednesday Sept.2nd. But when I downloaded the ticket, it was actually for a random baseball game. Has this happened to anyone else? I have emailed StubHub, reached out through twitter DM, and called customer service. All they can tell me is that they’ve escalated the case as the representative agreed the tickets were wrong and that they’ve contacted the seller about sending the correct ticket. I don’t even want to go to the concert anymore after all this stress, and don’t care to wait for the original or for replacement tickets. I just want my refund! Has anyone else had a successful refund experience after this type of scam? What should be my next step? Any insight would be appreciated!!

I’m nervous to pre-upload my tickets to a stubhub listing I made. I’m just not confident in their security and don’t want something to go wrong with my tickets and then get screwed.

Do you know whether pre-uploading is required or whether not pre-uploading affects the visibility of my post? I’d rather wait until it sells to do the transfer if I can, but I also really need to sell the tickets.
