Per some requests, please post anything related to the documentary here. If you see anyone posting about it elsewhere, please direct them here. You can also report comments/posts so we can remove. This will allow us to better watch that we don't get another influx of spammers, doxxers, etc. All previous posts should be locked to prevent further comments.

I understand wanting to figure out the mystery. But it is appalling the way some people on this subreddit have been going after specific fans. I beg of you all to remember that the fans you are talking about are real people and do not deserve to be attacked or harassed because you think they might have something to do with "Fegan". It is not your job to figure out who did it. Please just treat everyone with kindness and respect.

been reading some old interviews from when Sainthood released and I read that they had a trip to New Orleans to write some songs together for the album (of which Paperback Head being the only cowritten song to make the album). Did they ever release the other cowritten songs from this time?

A whole softcover magazine about lesbian culture has been sitting front row on my magazine rack since it came out. Can’t remember seeing it here so here are some pictures. If you’re interested in the interview please let me know.
It’s really cool, one half of the magazine has Tegan on the cover and the other half if you flip it upside down has Sara on the cover with the whole magazine in French.

On Spotify… i have listened to this album many many many times and this last listen surprised me with two new songs: wrists and light up. Where did they come from?

I’ve been doing some deep cleaning/sorting. Came across some of my old magazines. I’m going to hang on to this one for a while longer because it’s so strange, but thought I’d share with the group.

Hello fellow T&S fans,
I host a White Stripes podcast called 'The Hardest Podcast to Podcast' and I was beyond stoked and incredibly grateful to have Sara come on my show to discuss Walking with a Ghost, a song the White Stripes covered and released in 2005.
I'm a really big Tegan and Sara fan, so when I launched my podcast, one my lofty goals was to speak to the band about this song and the White Stripes' cover. What came of this was a 90 minute conversation about Sara writing the song, T&S in that era, their memoir High School, and the White Stripes' covering their track.
I can safely say this is a Tegan and Sara episode of a White Stripes podcast, so even if you're not a big White Stripes fan, Sara is so generous with her time and insight!

On If It Was You (2002), the lyric "in the back of this car, I have travelled nowhere" is on both "Not Tonight" and "Terrible Storm". Are they connected somehow in message?

There was a terrible storm and we were... flooded in our basement.
Autographed Heartthrob Magazine found as a casualty.

Just saw the documentary "Fanatical" and was wondering if there's been any updates in the 2 years since that film came out as to the identity of Fake Tegan(AKA Fegan)? I'm a pretty casual Tegan and Sara fan(and i'm a straight dude so i'm probably in the minority in that regard when it comes to fans of the group) so I never got involved in that whole fandom message board/social media scene(my first exposure to their music was hearing "Closer" in the season 1 finale of Bojack Horseman)and was totally unaware of any of that until I found out about the documentary(As I was looking for documentaries about con artists/impersonators and things like that and Gemini recommended me this film).
I will say the Quincest stuff didn't surprise as i'm someone who has been reading erotic fanfiction(and has also written some) for decades now and celebrity fan-fiction is pretty common especially on Literotica and Adult-Fanfiction and yes there is a lot of celebrity incest stuff. I've never personally wrote that sort of thing myself, not because i'm against it on a moral level but because i'm more into writing fanfics about fictional characters in movies and TV shows and video games and whatnot.
I don't know if I believe that "Tara" wasn't fake Tegan myself, I can see why Tegan would think she was being sincere, but having seen another catfishing documentary recently(My Sweet Bobby)I can tell you these con artists can be very good actors so i'm not completely willing to believe 100% that she wasn't fake Tegan, if it is someone else though, it's probably most likely a disgruntled ex-employee that used to work for the band that had some of their personal info(or a fan that heard it from a disgruntled employee).
One thing I wasn't crazy about in the doc was that one woman putting down other music like Nickelback(which i'm a fan of, BTW what were the other two songs played before the Nickelback one? they don't ring a bell to me) just felt like that was totally unnecessary.
EDIT: If you're on here Fegan, spare me your lame attempts to try to blame this on Tegan. I'm not falling for your lame tricks.

In the last month or so I have really got into T&S. I’m not really a fan of pop (just not my thing), so their newer songs haven’t really gripped me, but I love the older songs I’ve found of theirs and wanted some recommendations!! Rock is my favourite genre so if anyone can point me towards their rockier songs that would be awesome.
My favourite songs by them are Nineteen, I Bet It Stung, and Burn Your Life Down.
Thank you!!

hi cool people! so i've always loved the whole visual design/aspect of So Jealous and "its not fun dont do it" and i think the merch from like 2004-2006 is some of the cutest stuff i've ever seen. i stayed up until 2am last night on ebay, tns archives, just trying to look for pics of the old shirts/posters/pins. there's some on the archive website but does anyone know where i can find more? or if people would be willing to share pictures from their own collection?
in the pictures here u can see a version of the broken heart shirt that's different than the one on their website. and i haven't seen ANY good quality images of that freaking ladybug thing on the red shirt. INFDDI has it on the menu page and its sooo cute, i didn't know they put it on tshirts!! i did find a cool ebay poster too lmao and im wondering if there's more stuff like that that exists that idk about. i also saw some stuff on their website from 2011 when they did the "merch odyssey" thing and reprinted posters from this era but that barely gave me anything lol.
anyway emy storey is everything i wanna be and i wish there was a place where i could see all her TnS designs because this era was super cool. thanks for helping me!!!

Very random but I ran into one of the twins this evening but minded my business so I wasn’t able to tell which twin it was. I saw them again from behind as I left the shop we were in and saw a palm tree tattoo on the back of their arm.
I’m pretty certain it was Tegan but hopefully a bigger fan can confirm for me. Teenage me would have no problem telling them apart but it’s been a while.
