i’m coming in town to volunteer at telluride film festival!

Good afternoon all, I am really wanting to visit Telluride and go on some day hikes eg. Blue Lakes Trail, Black Bear Pass, or whatever else the area has to offer! Unfortunately I can only get out there end of October (last week) and am finding conflicting information online on whether or not the rewarding trails will be hike-able or covered in snow. Any information on whether or not this trip is feasible, or alternative recommendations would be appreciated. I’ve been dying to see different areas of Colorado for a while now and Telluride is always recommended.

we had some pretty strong wind and hail in our area and i noticed a few shingles missing when i checked the yard the next morning. the roof is only a few years old so i'm kinda surprised it got damaged this easily.

i'm looking into storm damage roof repair colorado now and trying to figure out what the normal process is. do most people have a roofer inspect everything first and then decide what needs to be repaired? those who've gone through this before, what made you trust one roofing company over another? anything i should watch out for during the inspection?

Made a last-minute decision to drive down from Denver with for the Film Festival and looking for a place to stay. Ideally something comfortable for under $700/night. Open to hotels, short term rentals, or private homes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

A friend and I plan on taking jobs in Telluride this winter season at TelSki. If we are not able to get employee housing, what are the best places to start looking?

I'm driving up from Durango to volunteer during at the Film Fest (I can't wait!). Was wondering how dicey street parking is that weekend - I've been to Telluride before and never had an issue, but I'm assuming more roads will be closed/the town will be way busier. TIA!

Hello Telluride Community! Does anyone have any tips on where one could rent camping equipment like tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags?

We have customers coming to Telluride and they're looking to get camping rentals but based on all of my research, no shops in Telluride rent any? Everyone pointed to Jagged Edge but no luck there.

Would appreciate any tips! Thanks in advance. Our goal is for people to buy less, reuse and rent more.

I have heard rumors of different mines where you can dig through old tailing piles in silverton and creede but havent been able to get exact details. I want to find her crystals and other visually striking rocks. My aunt is the sweetest and purest woman, so I would go to the moon and back for her. Any information is appreciated.

My partner and I are eloping in Telluride late October and making a long weekend of it. I know a lot of businesses tend to shut down late in the month. The gondola is closing on the 25th this year.

I’m driving across the country and will be in Telluride from Tuesday - Friday next week. I have a cargo trailer and a large truck (Silverado 2500 and 6x12 ft trailer). My trailer is too tall for the garage and the place we are staying will not accommodate by truck and trailer. Any recommendations for a place I can park during my visit to telluride?

I'm trying to continue a carnivore diet and wonder: does any restaurant that's open for breakfast serve something like steak & eggs? (Elk steak is fine, and so are variations.)

Hoping for insight as to whether we can do a quick informal ceremony at/near the overlook, sans formal arrangements. Just realizing ‘real’ weddings take place up there and wondering if we can just do our own thing, or if we may run into complications. No chairs, walking aisles, etc..just a quick 10 minute celebration. 2nd weekend of October fwiw.

We’ll be staying in Telluride Sept 24-27 and looking for elopement photographer recommendations. Everything I‘ve seen has been 4 hour minimum packages. Ideally looking for only a couple of hours max for the two of us. Thanks!

Poking around, as is my habit this time of year, for places to stay for Telluride ski season. This past Sunday morning, the places I was investigating doubled in price by Sunday afternoon, OUCH!. So, maybe search on a neutral lap-top, not logged into your account, before you pull the trigger.

Also, please know that you can link your rental with your DELTA SKY MILES account, but you have to be very INTENTIONAL. Both D and a are not very forgiving when you miss a step
