Discussion I fucking hate this guy
galleryAt first I thought Luo Tong was the misunderstood dad trope, that he was pretty good overall, helped Nuonuo, and was working hard which is why he didn't have much time to spend with his daughter.
Then episode 16 rolls around, I thought he was going to figure out that GhostBlade was Nuonuo's father, but then this goddamn creep after hearing about how Nuonuo, his intern, literally his daughter's best friend and a girl around her age has been stalked, bothered and has overall been uncomfortable for ages due to her stalker that is a lot older than her, goes on to try to wing man the dude and get him to end up with her romantically???
Keep in mind he is the father of a teenage daughter himself, Luo Li has been very clear about GhostBlade's stalking behaviour and Nuonuo is VERY uncomfortable with it, yet this fucking douchebag is saying shit like "age doesn't matter". No wonder his daughter hates him, he belongs on a list. How would he react if it was his own daughter who was being stalked???
This whole misunderstood incest subplot gotta be the worst joke in the show.

Discussion Theory on how X got his powers Spoiler
Hey everyone, I’ll keep this as short as possible.
I think X is actually a magician/illusionist, and the first bit of belief in his tricks came from helping Lucky Cyan by tossing her those coins. Lucky passed some of her luck on to him, and because of that, his first tricks started working better and better.
He used to perform disappearing tricks, and people would wonder how he was able to do them. That created belief in him, which eventually gave him powers like teleportation and reality distortion.
But I don’t think his abilities can actually deal any real damage. He only creates illusions. The reason everyone thinks he’s unbeatable is because that’s exactly how a magic trick works, the audience has no idea how it was done. And that includes us, the viewers watching the anime, which is pretty funny. We believe in his invincibility too, because he’s a magician, and he fooled us as well. And that’s also why he’s a loner: magicians never reveal their secrets.
But if people ever find out that he’s only creating illusions and can’t actually hurt anyone, all of that power could disappear.
Think about it: he didn’t actually injure Queen or Dragon even once. Dragon is supposed to get stronger when he takes damage, but X just threw him away. And Queen was simply lying on the ground afterward. And several times, people reacted by saying, "How did he do that?", which is exactly what an audience says when watching a magic trick. In the latest episode, during his fight with the agents, he doesn’t actually deal any damage to them either. They also showed that those stuck in the wall can get out when he leaves.
Because none of it was real. It was all an illusion.
So X might actually be one of the weakest heroes, but through his illusions he makes everyone believe he’s the strongest. And the more people believe that, the stronger he becomes. And we believe in the same way as the anime characters.
The finger snapping and the coin are also pretty strong hints that he’s a magician.
EDITED:
That’s exactly why, in the scene where he tossed the coin to Cyan, he said that it was probably what triggered the awakening of his powers. It was in the latest episode, when he was explaining his abilities to the dog. I also think that after Smile death, he started taking things much more seriously. Before that, he wasn’t really doing anything.
I was also wondering why they keep showing his watch and how he’s always counting the time. Maybe that’s connected to his tricks too? The longer a magician performs tricks for the same person, the harder it becomes to fool them. So maybe his powers have some kind of time limit.

Discussion Was Lin Ling really homeless and living in the office?
Add to that the fact that nobody cared about him before he became Nice, and probably wasn't paid very well by his former exploitative boss, plus the fact that he likely had to start working early—it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't have a stable place to live.
And somehow this seems more depressing than Cyan's homeless situation.

Discussion I feel like Original Nice is the best written character of the series.
For a character that "died" the first few minutes of the show I feel like Nice is the best character of the show even though he never had his own dedicated episodes and appeared in others dedicated episodes.
I really hope he gets his own episodes next season and we learn even more about him.

Discussion Hero Luo
If Luo became a hero, what do you think his name would be? What would his persona and branding be like? What agency would he join? What gear would he have? What agency would he join? What new powers would he get as a result of the increase in trust?

Speculation/Theory The Interesting Imagery in X's Version of Inertia!
THIS POST ENDED UP QUITE LONG, SO HERE'S A TL:DR I GUESS:
(Also, you can find the video on YouTube)
TL:DR; The tarot card imagery in X's version of Inertia may be telling us the entire story of TBHX within a minute and a half.
I recently watched the X version of Inertia and ended up stumbling on EXTREMELY interesting concepts that are simply not talked about enough in this fandom. Tgis post is not necessarily supposed to try and solve the full picture by myself, but rather to ignite passionate discussion about arguably one of the most impactful lore drops we may get leading up to season 2's release.
The main part of the opening that I want to discuss is the HEAVY use of tarot cards (and these tarot cards have actually been present ever since the original opening by the way!). The reason it is my main point of interest is because of how tarot cards work. Tarot cards basically have two meanings to one card (please note that I am NOT a tarot card expert and did most of my research within about 10 minutes so feel free to fact check my incorrect notions), an upright meaning, and a reverse meaning.
During the opening, X as a worker was essentially forced to a fast food restaurant by a young lady and engaged in a discussion with her most likely about him gaining his powers. She presents multiple cards on the table and picks out a random one : The Fool.
From my quick Google search, I instantly found out that The Fool is numbered as "0". This has very clear ties to the fallen Hero, Zero, and actually comes with its own set of meanings. The Upright Meaning generally is fresh starts and innocence, basically starting a new adventure with a pure heart. The Reversed Meaning is basically recklessness, fear and naivety, which ALL have striking similarities to Zero's cycle of life (I used this phrase on purpose, I'm getting to that in a bit). Zero started off a fresh adventure as an innocent hero but ended up taking reckless actions by killing those he disagreed with instilling fear into people.
What's actually quite interesting is the next set of shots. The most interesting to me is the scene of X being viewed from the outside showing him inside the building seemingly alone with a possible villain walking by.
The young lady then splits the card exposing a second one underneath it: The Chariot.
The Chariot is numbered as "7", which on its own, generally represents a cosmic order and luck. The Upright Meaning of The Chariot is basically willpower victory and control, while the Reversed Meaning is basically a lack of control, aggression or blocked progress. I only see the Reversed Meaning applying to Zero, but the Upright Meaning can technically represent their absolute power, with X literally having reality warping abilities.
The scene then changes, showing X in distress while over a bathroom sink, possibly showing the immense sort of burden gaining his powers and knowledge may be on him. After that, it shows all the tarot cards facing downwards except for the one at the end of the line of cards: The Wheel of Fortune.
The Wheel of Fortune generally represents life cycles and destiny, which are both main themes of TBHX. I personally believe that this is meant to represent the young lady herself, implying that she may be X's main antagonist because of X's serious obsession with defying fate as proven by the opening and ending mostly being about him. The Wheel of Fortune's presence actually has major implications as it may be likely that X is trying to avoid another Downfall. Remember how he said Zero never truly died? He also has many ties with Zero in the opening and even directly in the anime. It may be safe to say that Zero's role was to be The Fool and The Chariot, but when his cycle was completed through death, a new cycle was born (that seemingly being X considering their ties to the tarot cards and to themselves). Sonething else that may also very well support this narrativeis how in the first opening, when X is repeatedly snapping his fingers I believe, the final shot is a stone statue of him with the top half of his face sliced off and hands reaching towards him from below. This may very well mean that X might have to make a sacrifice of some sorts to break the cycle of fate causing a never ending Downfall OR by "spreading the truth" he simply wants to abolish the Trust System which may very well be in Fate's hands...
The next visible tarot card is "The Devil". This one is actually used to represent a seemingly new character who uses nuts and bolts, despite them not being my main focus of this post, I will still go over the implications slightly consider ing we may know next to NOTHING about them right now.
The Devil represents a sort of voluntary captivity , where certain habits and addictions human beings are under, are simply imposed on us by our own minds. Perhaps this character feels they owe someone or Fate directly starting off by opposing X, then ends up breaking from their self-imposed evil (that's just a very loose understanding in the lack of context for their character).
An interesting thing though that I forgot to mention is how the reverse meaning is not always inhetently negative. Just bear that in mind when discussing.
I would really love to hear what everyone has to say about this considering how it has gone seemingly undiscussed for 11 wole months. BUT HEY! THAT'S JUST A THEORY. So take it as a conversation starter and not as fact. Thank you for reading!
TL:DR; The tarot card imagery in X's version of Inertia may be telling us the entire story of TBHX within a minute and a half.
