There a few things I love more than elite cavalry doing cavalry stuff. Love my medieval 2, love my Bretonia. But wondering what other factions/lords can utilize cavalry for their killing blow?

Has always been my preferred way of playing these kinds of games where you take control of territories, and wondered if it could work here too.

If you didn't know it before, there are several notable Bretonnian units that have been lost to time over changing editions. This bad boy gets his art from the 3rd edition rulebook, but was tossed out as they shifted focus in the 5th edition to pure Arthurian fantasy. If you're ever thinking to yourself: "Bretonnia is stupid. They're just knights and peasants. They don't have anything else going for them."

Well. They did. Once. Now, I'm not even sure they're a lore blurb anymore.

And where can I get some?

Their Ancient Treeman lords can solo minor settlements at level 1 on Legendary (and 2 can take over Major Settlements). They can teleport across the map. Have one of the if not the strongest unit rosters in the game. Forced Confederation. And Orion is possibly the strongest lord in the game with his 0% upkeep armies.

I've been wanting to try a skirmish/mobility-heavy army with Volkmar recently but am tossing up between these two units. War wagons have AP but are much more costly and slower than pistoliers. In my own testing they achieved about the same DPS against unarmoured units though.

What's everyone's experience?

Yes I know this is some random Bretonian faction but it feels people aren't fair to the tomb kings but that's because they don't give them a chance. This is only turn 30 and i already have 2 full stacks that aren't just skeleton warriors. Also for Settra Khemri is basically impossible to take for the ai, I had a level 18 Skarbrand with a strong army that had exalted bloodletters and the hellforged host and I managed to defeat it with only the garrison with the skeleton chariots singlehandedly killing the hellforged host. I know people say that they are slow and can't deal damage but I find thats just not the case. (this is all on very hard, hard difficulty)

He is lv 23 and has some equipment but he is so squishy. He does damage but dies fast. Any advice?

Not sure where to go. All warring factions conquered. I have two Dwarf allies. Drycha's move North sealed my normal main threats and expansion. Into Norsca I guess?

After the mass and collision damage changes do you use it? Its still worse than regular charge against other cav it seems but with infantry its hit or miss far as I can tell. If you can plow through it adds nice damage boost but şf not you get stuck and die fast.

What are your thoughts on it?

I'm good at the battles, and so I've been playing beastmen since they basically just don't have the campaign part (no city management, minimal negotiations, no upkeep, near instant armies) and I feel I should probably learn how to actually play this game properly. Any armies with forgiving bit more complete campaign map options?

Looking for ppl to play WH3 with or just hang out with got any smaller servers that are active ?

Thought this would be a cozy campaign since there's no settlement management and casually worked my way north only to get declared by skaven/DE/Slanesh factions at the same time. Guess I'll need some strategy , I'm guessing I will need to secure South asap before heading North?

First of all I gotta say I love all the work being put into the new update. I also play domination multiplayer and was thinking if UL will be a race with all the undead units, cause it looks like it. If this is the case, it will be the strongest, more flexible and complete roster in the game. No routing, tons of healing, great caster-fighter lords, artillery, cavalry, monsters, infantry, support. The separate undead races work well because they are all balanced around lacking at least one strength (no range for VC, no cav for vampirates, for example).

Does anyone know how their roster will look like on multiplayer battles?
