Hey all,
I’m planning on doing a 12mile Kinder Scout - Mam Tor circular tomorrow (Saturday 29th), it my first time In the Peak District.
ChatGPT has told me it’s going to be unsafe tomorrow due to the rain, but when I look the rain forecast it’s not extreme - does anyone know if there is something about this route that will make it exceptionally unsafe tomorrow?
Naturally, I will be wearing water proofs, hiking shoes, poles etc etc.
EDIT: Just wanted to add as it wasn’t clear, I use ChatGPT to manage my calendar and as part of that it regularly gives me updates that might impact my calendar (eg train cancellations, weather etc). They’re not always accurate, but equally they have helped me re-plan a number of times when it has flagged genuine issues.
I don’t use it to plan my hikes, but on this occasion it gave a very extreme warning, beyond what I expected given the weather forecast & route and wanted to check with Humans that there was nothing I had overlooked.
