Coffee Machines in Dorms
Hi! I'm a transfer living in a single dorm in Coit. I am looking into buying a specialty coffee machine (so I can also make espresso), and I was thinking about getting the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker or a Nespresso Vertuo. The packing list says that Keurigs are allowed, but I am under the impression that a Nespresso is just a different brand of Keurig. I don't want to get in any trouble because of a coffee machine- has anyone else brought a coffee machine to their dorm and how did it go? What kind of machine was it?

Off campus housing options
I decided to transfer to UNCG and have been placed on the waitlist for on-campus housing. I'm looking for options for off-campus housing, what to avoid, and which options are more accessible to the campus

Will my student ID get me into UNCG's Auditorium Performances at the student rate if I'm not currently enrolled?
I want to go see Jewel tonight at the Auditorium and I'd like to pay the student rate bc it's much cheaper.
I was an enrolled student last year but have paused taking classes right now. I still have my ID - do they scan them or can I just show it when I pick up the ticket? If they scanned it, it would show I'm not enrolled so I'm worried they'd make me pay the full amount. Thanks!

Intramural Sports?
Has anyone played on any of the intramural teams? I really wanna learn how to play soccer but I don't want to sign up and the tone of the team be a lot more serious that Id imagine. Are intramural sports lax?

Immunization questions
I submitted the same health record documents as last semester but it's saying I'm not compliant for the tdap and dtap vaccines even though they are on the form and they accepted it last semester. Do I have to call them or go in to their office to get this sorted. Also do they immediately withdraw you from classes if your not compliant or do they give you some time. They took so long to verify the document I forgot to check it and just assumed it was ok which is why I'm doing this now

How to drop out?
So after having problems with my financial aid (the schools owes me something like 6,000) and everything else, I have decided to not attend UNCG. It is apparent that the school does not have the best interest of the student in mind and is only concerned about money. I mean how else would that explain a $400+ athletic fee when the school doesn't even have a football team?
So do I just not show up? Is there a formal process of dropping out? Like everything else, when I call the school to get answers I just get vague answers.

Financial Aid Disbursement Spring 24?
Any idea? Why isn't the date listed like the other schools in the UNC system? The Financial Aid office only gives me vague answers...

Billy Godwin out as UNCG’s baseball manager.
I heard the news today that the Yankees have hired him to join their organization. I sure did love the skipper and while it’s a super sad day to see him leave I’m very excited to see what comes next for the program. Let’s go Spartans!

Uncg mba rejection.
I was wondering is the mba program that hard to get into? I got rejected this morning. I attended uncg right now, i graduate this week so im about to be an uncg alumni. I have a 2.85 gpa but that will go up after final grades are put in. I have an intensive long resume. I balanced two jobs this year while in school. I had pretty good recommendations from professors at the Bryan school and my managers. So just curious on what could have had my decision be a no. I also reached out to get an answer for this by no reply yet.

Do you need a project proposal in order to be accepted into the PhD program?
Hi everyone! I'm thinking of applying for a PhD in English at UNCG and I'm wondering if one needs to bring forward a clearly outlined project proposal in order to be accepted.
From what I gather based on the website information, a project proposal would only be a milestone during the first year of the PhD. However, I still want to be sure.
Thank you!
