Hi! Today I went to walk my schedule and legit ended up tapping out from the heat and the distance between every class.

I didn't end up figuring out the walk between some of my classes that are back to back, so I was wondering if anyone personally with more experience had an input.
I have a 15 minute break between a class at the Brogden Psychology building and a class at Sewell Social Sciences. I also later in the day have a 15 minute break between a class at the Helen C. White Hall to the Chemistry building.

Would you reckon i'm feasibly able to get to those on time?? thanks!!!

For those nearing graduation, how is the full time job search going? Do most of you/your friends have offers?

I know the job market in general is rough for CS but I want to hear how it feels from people locally.

I was attempting to swap and somehow ended up dropping a class and dropped below full time credits. I quickly reenrolled to full time credits afterwards

One of my classes randomly overlapped with one of my other classes recently, and only one section became available for each of them. They start at the same time and end at the same time, and I want to know if anyone else has had this issue. It is about ECE 352 and ECE 330. My ECE 330 class was later in the day, and my ECE 352 was in the morning, but now they are both at the same time in the morning, and I didn't even change anything. I can't even change it back, and I am afraid it is stuck like this forever now.

EDIT: There was a glitch in the course enrollment system. Nothing to worry about.

Would anybody second a motion to start a fundraising campaign ti knock down and rebuild humanities? I see so many buildings proabbly grants in trust for their academic fi le go up and the building I spent so many hours grueling ones committing myself to music be in the ugliest oldest cockroach infested. Hey I knkw a big university can be great and I know it can also be very lonely and hard to connect- I didn’t have trouble but I got swept up in drinking and partying while trying to commit myself to music school and feeling isolated- if anybody needs someone to listen or go somewhere just to get out lmk- I’m feeling disconnected and sometimes not appreciative of the education that I got- but I want to pass along some
Kindness or offer some guidance if you’re feeling lost- I let the pressure of trying to succeed wear me down- remember to have fun and take of yourself. If you need a friend or someone to try something new with I would be very happy to share my knowledge of the city or campus offerings to go somewhere with you if you’re feeling lonely- I know I am now as graduate still in the city where most have moved on or how have families and are harder to connect with when I don’t yet have that. I’m an exchange student from the UK and was wondering how people usually go about socialising in college in the US. In the UK it’s very much about drinking together and clubbing and in my experience my college in the UK set up many of these events.

I’ve only been here a few days but I’ve found the college culture very different and was wondering if there’s any events I can attend to meet people and where I find these? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I’m also 21 so I do feel a bit odd trying to make friends with 18 year olds but honestly just want to be able to chat to some people to distract me from being a bit homesick!
