The details that usually get asked about:

• First Release registration spots are available now at $89 until October 4th, or when the 600 spots sell out.
• Most divisions play 4v4 mixed beach ultimate.
• Divisions run from genuinely competitive down to "we're mostly here to party," so bring whatever squad you have. College, Masters, GM, GGM, & Legends are available too!
• There is a DJ, beer garden and cheap beer & hard seltzer on the beach.
• The Saturday night party is epic, and is included with every player pass.
• Free agents are welcome. You don't need a full team to sign up, and captains can pick up matching players directly from the Free Agent Hub.
• Full refunds are available through November 16th if your plans change; and with our new registration system you can request that directly in your player profile menu.
• LeiOut is the biggest annual fundraiser for LAOUT and Southern California Youth Ultimate (SCYU) who do the work of organizing most leagues and tourneys in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as running youth clinics and camps, and providing scholarships to athletes of all ages experiencing financial burden.
• LeiOut is mostly for adults; SCYU runs Beach of Dreams a few weeks earlier which is mostly for youth.

Hey folks, anyone have room for one more? Men’s or Mixed mmp. I was trying to get my local folks to go, but they’ve all pulled out and I didn’t have 10 to make the roster min for a team.

I’m close to Pittsburgh and can get myself there both days. I will pay my own USAU reg and pitch in for team fees. Can bring snacks and a canopy.

Pros: good at zone D and O, will break a mark (most of the time), decent at dominator shenanigans, won’t complain if riding the pine, has listened to every Pod Practice episode.

Cons: should be playing Masters, sub-7 40, sometimes makes you ask “why’d they throw that??”, has never played a legit vert, has listened to every Pop Practice episode.

I’m looking to connect with tournament directors and event organizers who are interested in bringing large-scale tournaments or events to Dayton, OH.

Read on a Facebook thread that masters Nationals is not going to be in Aurora next year. Any truth to this rumor? I hope not since I like traveling to Denver.

Flew my tiny Meteor75 Pro II drone (56g with battery) at a training. Consent obviously obtained and the flight was fully legal. Didn't find any fpv drone footage from ultimate on youtube, so thought this community would appreciate it. First time filming Ultimate, so looking forward to making more such clips.

We ran it in practice before and it was absolute dog water.

Now I know teams will sometimes sideline trap in certain zones or after certain turnovers they can force to that sideline .

But I don’t see teams running it like a force middle , aka: every time they hit a sideline you force to the sideline .

Can anyone explain why it’s bad / not used ?

If you’re born in 2004 or later, we’d really encourage you to apply.

You don’t need to think you’re guaranteed a place, or that you’re already one of the best players in the country. The trials are there to give players the opportunity to be seen, so if you’re eligible, give it a go!

And if you’re a club/university/college coach, captain or teammate, please give any eligible U24 players you know a nudge too. Sometimes all someone needs is you saying “you should apply.”

There's so much deep switching and handler poaching going on that you can see opposing players having to think and calculate constantly. And it really takes offenses out of any sort of flow. There will be the occasional blown deep switch - easy huck goal to De Marree from Atkins in the 3rd quarter for example - but maybe only once or twice a game. Minnesota completed a huge percentage of their hucks in the regular season game vs Oakland this year. I don't see this happening twice. I like the Spiders for UFA champs.
