This is most people unfortunately. Just observe a grocery store parking lot and their behavior with the carts.

This and the shopping trolley problem prove that people only do good things if they think they’ll be judged. Take away that judgement and their true colours shine through.

The shopping cart is honestly the perfect example of this. Minimal effort required, yet people still choose to make their laziness someone else’s problem
