I like these design every single one of them in the trailer it showed that one of their vehicles had police bars sirens ontop of the humvee below the bridge in one of the wildland trailers
Damn I would love for Ubisoft to add these features abd appearances for La Unidad in the game
I wanna hear people thought and opinions on these images of La Unidad should look this badass in the game itself.

For all of you returning and new players, here are a few things you should know that the game literally never tells you. They can affect your gaming experience!
A few things I have written before.
A few things not necessarily mentioned in that topic:
Happy gaming, boys and girls.

This is a repost of a 4 year old topic on request of some people, since Reddit decided to blanket delete all of my posts from that time. It's a semi-serious guide to living in a perpetual state of violence, plus some interesting info about some weapons.
Original post:
Hi folks, inspired by a recent exchange to the tone of 'none of the weapons in this game matter and are all the same', I feel like I want to write a post for all of us who do not play Wildlands as a full tactical stealth sim, and instead like to get into loud and dangerous firefights, intentionally or accidentally.
These are my findings for what keeps me alive most of the time, and are by no means a comprehensive guide. This works for me and many will disagree and say I play the game wrong.
Section I: Just don't get spotted, lol!
First of all, people who buy the game initially do not have this skill, so all of you who are about to tell everyone else exactly how they MUST play, please go make your own post.
There is a most efficient way to play: Get sniper rifle, drone and sync shot, avoid playing with actual people at all costs because your AI teammates are gods, and slowly snipe out base by base, creeping in silently with a suppressor....
...and die in the several missions, notably DLC, that force you to play the game like it's CSGO (Operation Archangel) and abandon all stealth.
Even if you want to play stealthily, the game has a habit of giving you missions that will throw all of your stealth out of the window. So it's important to know what do when boolet come at you.
Section II: Boolet come to You
Step 1 in any such case is find cover. Depending with what amount of user interface you play, you may or may not know where the bullets are coming from, so ideally your cover will be between you and the source of the bullets.
Step 2 is....run away...if possible. Unlike most games, you never become a god at warfare, so running away and engaging on your terms is usually a great idea.
Step 3 happens when step 2 is either not wanted or not possible, whether it's the mission forcing a defense(hi Watchman) or you deciding that the one corner of the base with no exits was the best place to cause a ruckus: Prep your defense site. You have proximity mines, which are great until you hit about Tier 20, when they become at best capable of blowing off toes on enemies. AT mines are great at killing anything and everything, but they only trigger on vehicles, someone walking directly over one...or another explosion, such as someone's toes being blown off.
If you are handy with manual detonations, C4 is also extremely helpful.
Step 4 is look for a way out. Most firefights are finite or contain breaks, the enemy will either run out of people, or need more time to get reinforcements. The how and where to look for a way out differs, but in most cases the longer you stay at a particular location, the worse your time will be due to mortars, helicopters, rushing elites, reinforcements, etc. Unidad in particular is technically finite, as there is a point as which they will simply stop sending units after you if you've killed enough, but the amount of time, ammunition and patience that takes, makes finding a way out a much better alternative. With Santa Blanca you will have an easier time fighting them into submission, but even then, staying at one location just increases your chances of dying.
Section III: The weapons to help thee
The more difficult the game gets (higher difficulties, Tier Mode) the more accurate the enemies get, and the more health they get (Tier Mode only). The closer to the enemies you are, the better their aim is. On 'normal' difficulty like Extreme, your minimum engagement distance should probably be 50 meters or more, but on Tier 10 and below, where possible it should be 150m+, because otherwise you will receive 10 shots to the face before you can press the trigger.
Your choice of outfit is irrelevant for firefights, as even the "stealth" backpack will not actually do anything but give you a false sense of security. Drone options, if you use them, should likely be explosive due to its capability to induce involuntary compression of enemy organs and vehicles. Since we assume you are in a firefight, your choice of gloves for melee animations does not matter.
Your weapons, however, do matter. A sniper rifle for an engagement that is <100 meters from you, is not the most optimal thing, even if it's the HTI (discounting the super broken SR-25 Jungle). You can get decent effectiveness with some semiautomatic sniper rifles (I use the M110 from the store for this purpose, in third person) as they do a lot of damage, are accurate and can usually fire as fast as you can click.
The best weapons for a firefight are assault rifles, some shotguns and machineguns. Assault rifles are obvious since they're going to be a mainstay weapon for most of you, have grenade launcher options, and are overall quite accurate. The best rifle for any such firefight is the one you're most comfortable with. At higher Tier levels and especially in Ghost Mode, where you only have one weapon, it's likely going to be an assault rifle.
What to look for in your weapons for the firefight? Understand the difference between Handling and Accuracy.
Accuracy =your gun's sideways recoil, how much it moves side to side during firing. A very high accuracy weapon will have its recoil pattern go straight up.
Handling = your gun's vertical recoil, how much it goes up during firing. A high handling weapon will not rise during firing.
A good tip here is that you only need to worry about handling for the first half of your magazine: all automatic weapons, except for machineguns, will stop any vertical muzzle climb about halfway through a mag.
Weapon damage is a distant third because weapon damage only matters between weapons of the same class. Some submachineguns will do higher damage per bullet than some rifles! That said, some variants of weapons do a lot more damage than others. Take the SCAR-17 battle rifle and compare it to the M4A1 or any other rifle. Even at Tier 1, the SCAR-17 will kill most targets with less than 4 shots, where the M4 will need 10 shots(both unupgraded)
Since there are no options to make yourself more durable(the perks do help, but in Extreme and the higher Tier modes you still die in 2-3 shots), your only option is to quickly ventilate whatever is shooting at you. This can happen in one of two ways: A lot of damage per bullet, or a lot of bullets. There are rifles and machineguns suitable for both. In Tier Mode, shotguns do insane damage, if you can contend with their range of at best 60m.
Any shotgun at any Tier level will one or two shot a vehicle or helicopter and will one shot any infantry. But 60 meters is a lot shorter than it sounds and some shotguns go as low as 40 meters (AA-12 from the shop goes to 60m and the bugged El Cuentista Boss Shotgun has an effective range of 125m!)
Should you choose the option of 'a lot of bullets on target', then you need to pay attention to Handling and Accuracy, both of which are modified by attachments. The Famas G1 is a great example of a relatively accurate rifle that can empty a 50 round mag in under 2 seconds, but if you don't mod it, most of those 50 rounds at 100m or beyond are going around your target. The M4A1 is a very good allrounder to start with, but getting it may be hard (Flor de Oro MOB), and it can be upgraded to laser accuracy with a combination of parts. If you don't pay attention to these statistics, your weapon will feel weak, as in addition to enemies gaining health, you are also missing some of your shots and your gun will jump unpredictably (the game introduces bullet spread regardless of your aiming skills) when firing. This is a big part of how 'good' the weapons feel.
Test out what combination of attachments feels best for you. Some guns are easy to control if you modify for full accuracy, some will need a balance between handling and accuracy, and some will obviously feel better with the best possible handling. It all depends on the initial recoil pattern of the gun, so go shoot at some walls, notice what the spread is, and modify the characteristics you think you will have the hardest time compensating.
Section IV: We have not considered machineguns before
From what I gather online, most people do not use machineguns. This is a shame. Machineguns come with massive belts, do a lot more damage than any assault rifle, have damage bonuses against aircraft and vehicles, and stagger enemies. The downside is that the vast majority of them are very hard to control, and you do not get a lot of options for modification like with assault rifles or submachine guns. They are incredibly useful tools for open firefights due to one major advantage: the combination of damage and magazine size dramatically increases your ability to deal with a lot of contacts at once.
A 6P41 (PKM/PKP in the real world) with a 100 round belt and some burst fire is enough to take out several vehicles, helicopters, and infantry, using only a single belt of ammo. The unique version you get from killing the bosses in the very first province, has double the firing rate! It is also the highest damage machinegun in the game if you do not have the M60E4 from Prestige crates.
The Mk249 comes with a 150 round belt and spews it out at speeds that would make the M134 minigun jealous. With several modifications the weapon has nearly zero recoil.
The MG121 is the most accurate machinegun in the game(and also the lowest damage) and can snipe people from 400m with little effort, even without modifications.
These are the highlights for me that you can get in the base game without any crates. Having a machinegun is a literal life saver, especially on Tier Mode when you get cornered by several vehicles or infantry and no amount of broken and overpowered sniper rifles will fix your problem. A machinegun will, even without the Tier damage upgrades.
Section V: Summary and other tips to Thrive
We have gone over what to do when bullets come to you. Run away if possible, and if not, reinforce your position until a break in combat.
So we've gone over the weapons, where the important part is to find something YOU like. You can be successful with a Musket if you set your mind to it, but some choices will make life easier. The most important lesson of Section III is that weapon modifications matter, a lot, both for your feeling of the weapon, and the amount of rounds hitting the target
Section IV speaks for itself, try some weapon types you haven't before! I didn't touch on submachineguns since they tend to be less interesting than assault rifles for me, but I am sure people in the comments will mention their favourites. I have also not touched on sniper rifles since they are not useful for open firefights.
A few notes on game mechanics: everyone I've seen online runs suppressors. While they are seen as mostly mandatory, it is a good exercise to run a few bases without a suppressor and practice moving before, during and after kills. Enemies will hear your last position, at which point you can move and ambush those coming to where you last shot (or mine the area). You will quickly notice that suppressors, even on Tier 1, can be optional, and you will learn the important skill of moving after your shots. Enemies will hear your unsuppressed shots up to 150m with rifles such as HTI, or about 80m with most assault rifles. Most unsuppressed pistols will be audible up to 50m. If you can survive without a suppressor, surviving with a suppressor will almost be trivial.
Note: suppressors will still lower your damage and penetration even if you have the relevant perks that "remove" the damage. Rifles that would penetrate walls often stop doing so with the suppressor attached, even with all perks to mitigate the effect. Less penetration = fewer kills through walls and less armour pen on heavy armoured guys.
A note on walls: You will be very surprised at the amount of cover you can very easily penetrate(more if you do not have a suppressor). Aside from very obvious thick concrete barriers and Armory walls, damn near anything can be penetrated with calibers such as 7.62 (AK47 for example), and in certain cases, weapons will penetrate the Bolivian houses with bricks through and through! Don't be afraid to shoot at people in cover.
Another note on shooting at enemies in hiding: the game has a functional suppression mechanic. Shooting an enemy's cover will make them flinch (the reason you usually die doing this is due to other enemies shooting you), enabling a very limited form of stunlocking.
The third person mechanic in the game can be very useful to play around with. Most cover will have you popping over the top of it if you use first person aiming, while third person sometimes allows you to pop out on the left or right of cover, drastically minimizing exposure. I have not yet found a way to force this type of cover use from first person aiming.
If you do use third person firing, which is how I usually play the game, be aware that the recoil patterns change and attachments have a lot more influence in this view mode.
I think this is all I can think of, if you have other comments or suggestions feel free to put them in the comments and I'll add them! If needed I can also make a video format to cover this topic.

Thought I’d share some more after my last post.
I’m planning to release an initial version sometime this week.
The main focus is a proper First Person experience for Ghost Recon Wildlands, built on top my modified GRW ScriptHook fork.
hookmods loadingx1.5, x2, x5, x10There are still some known limitations. First Person swimming is experimental, reload detection is not ready for camera correction yet, and some holstered and custom Third Person options still need work.
Changing the character completely or equipping certain clothing items can also invalidate camera references. In those cases, even a hot reload may not be enough and a full game restart can still be required.
The project will be open source and released under the GPL-3.0 license, just like the original ScriptHook base it builds upon. The modified ScriptHook fork and all release-relevant source code will be included with the public release.
The Nexus Mods page and the possible public GitHub repository will be created when the release is ready. Nothing has been published there yet.
Special thanks to PhialsBasement for the original GRW ScriptHook and Firejumper93 for the AnvilNext 2.0 / GRW VR research and documentation.
This is a human-directed, AI-assisted project. The design, testing and final decisions are human-led, with AI helping to investigate, prototype and implement parts of the framework.

So i just bought a ps5 and i played a few wildlands missions in a new save slot before i transfered the data from my ps4 on to my ps5. When i opened wildlands after the download, i still had that one new save but my old saves didn’t download. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Been playing this game for years and still love it. Anyway, going through another playthrough and realized I still don't have the platinum (literally the only trophy I don't have in this game, DLCs included). I usually play solo, but need a partner in coop to get "Finished the Job". Anybody active and interested in helping out? Would just go coop, but the unique requirement of the trophy - finish off an enemy injured by another player - has me thinking it may not be so easy. DM me if interested. PSN: desertsapper25
Thanks.

I'm excited to not only get an update, have a big sale on DLCs. But to see new mechanics implemented into the game is amazing. I came back blind not watching any trailers and had tutorials and hints turned off since I remembered how to play. However this has happened twice now and I feel like I'm missing something about how bear traps work even after reading the game's tutorial about them.
I understand you should try to avoid them and be careful where you walk ect. and they'll do damage over time if you're caught in one.
That being said my screen told me to press/hold the vault button but the tutorial tab said to press/hold the interact button so I went down and the AI revived me but upon revival I instantly died and got the killed in action screen before even taking another step.
What exactly happened to cause that death, and if it's from the bear trap the 1st time why even have me wait for a revive before I die and have to respawn?...

So i was playing solo hardcore/ghost mode and i could do normal province missions with ease and no crashing or freezing but when I completed a Rebel op amd headed for the helicopter I used to get there then the entire game and my console froze/locked up on me no response, I turned off my console and logged back in all seemed alright it had managed to save the rebel op i just did then I went to go do another one the game crashed on me mid way to it, then again after I relogged and reached it, is there any actual explanation for this because I can play literally any other game and this never happens to me

As the title says. Playing wildlands or breakpoint I'm experiencing a few second lags every minute and a half roughly. It's playable but incredibly annoying. I've tried many of the fixes but to no avail. Just putting this out there in hopes someone has had this same issue and was able to solve it.
Thanks!

Pretty much the title. I reinstalled wildlands a day ago, and when I started up my old save, i couldn't drive a car without getting crazy lag, and seeing a split of that injured hud (the one when you get shot at so the edges of the screen have jagged red appear) I have 12gb of ram and have never had an issue with this game before. Does anyone know what i need to do?
