Bought some gift cards to preorder GTA 6, had to get 5 separate ones. The other 4 went through just fine but the 5th gave me an error then locked my account, had to confirm I was human but it still won’t let me put it in. To my knowledge there isn’t a limit for cards, should I just wait a bit?

It does this weird light glitch where different colors of light are flickering across the top of my screen on 3 of my games and the rest are fine does anyone know why this is happening

My Xbox one has been having issues recently, but today completely died (I’m assuming). I tried to load up a game but everytime I hit the “play” button it wouldn’t open the game. I tried to go to the Home Screen, but it wouldn’t do that either. It became virtually useless, just stuck on the one page. It would let me move my cursor around, but not click any buttons. Hitting the middle button let me restart it, but now it won’t leave the sign in page. I’ve been dealing with this all day and cant get help from the online support page. Now after restarting it multiple times and leaving it unplugged for most of the day, it still is stuck on the “who’s playing” wheel of death. Any ideas?

Microsoft is throttling my download speed?

I’m on a gigabit fiber line. Went from 600-800mbs downloading games consistently to pegged at 250mbs. I’ve tried every troubleshooting step imaginable to see if there was anything I could do.
I’ve narrowed it down to the console only. This started maybe two months ago. Other than the standard troubleshooting any ideas? I submitted a report to Microsoft.

So i got this game pass code with the controller i bought and when i redeem it it ask for card details, the issue is it automatically locks in united states as a region (maybe this redeem code has to be redeemed on us region)

i did try to add a payment method hoping it will skip that window and redeem the code but for some reason it keeps saying check card details (i bought things online with it so it's not the card)

anyways im wondering if there's any way to redeem the code without having to add a payment method in the first place, i wish u can help me with anything

Can someone please help me. My headset is not the issue I just spent a lot of money on a new headset because I thought my last one had just gotten old after 3 years. But now my new has the exact same issue.

My game pass expired today, and I was planning on paying my usual every 3 months game pass essential plan, but the option isn appearing anymore, only the 1 month option, why?

Purchased an Xbox Series S from a pawn shop recently but has an issue. Was working fine at the shop, but when I brought it home and reset everything it is now unable to load anything.

It doesn't load my home screen, library, game pass, or even the store. It says "couldn't be loaded at this time" when I try to access the store. I've tried loads of troubleshooting but no luck.

Any suggestions, I'm at my wits end?

I just came back to xbox to play a couple of games ( i play on pc most of the time) and when i play NBA 2k26 mid game my game frozes and does nothing.
I always quickly check my internet connection and it says this “Cant connect to wireless network”. I feel like it changes from 5GHz to 2.4GHz any fix for this?
I feel like it only happens with this game.
(no i cant use ethernet and my pc is next to my xbox
but on my pc i never disconnect and nothing so something with xbox)

Hello all. We are upgrading our Xbox's to series X. We have done a lot of research on which tvs we should be purchasing that are best suited for the X. We've come down to two, the LG and Samsung tvs. I've seen a lot of different posts regarding the LG tvs but I haven't really found much about the Samsung. When you break them down by specs, the two are almost identical with the main differences being dolby vision and the Samsung has the glare free screen. We are kind of stuck at an impasse and would like to make our purchase this weekend while we can get some sales for the holiday.

ETA: Models we are between are the Samsung S90H OLED and LG C6 OLED

In 2024, I downloaded a shady software and got my PC compromised, the hacker got access to my email, and even though I was quick to wipe and change everything, my Microsoft account had its email, 2FA, and auth changed, and all my Microsoft emails deleted from inbox

I tried a lot to contact support, most led nowhere, and after a ticket got somewhat far, they just blocked the account after confirming it’s been compromised

I’m a PC gamer so I had only a few games purchased, but the account was so freaking old it had so much stuff like achievements, save files and all the exclusive Minecraft capes (I cared about them too much

Fast forward about 2 years, after the case with the Brazilian guy who sued Microsoft for the same, and a streamer having the same happen to him and getting his account back, I decided to contact support again

Now the process was very iffy, the games I had on the account were through gift cards so I didn’t really have a purchase, the account was very old so I didn’t have the exact details, and considering how much I used VPNs back in the day the locations didn’t match up quite well either I believe

But after another month of struggling, and 2 more failed tickets, I was able to verify my ownership through a quick share session on an old laptop I used the account on a lot, and they were able to verify the Xbox device ID, and I was able to get back my Xbox profile!!!!!!

For all the other folks I see with the same issue, I’d suggest initiating a ticket through their Twitter, as the support I got hooked through was much better from there, even if it was just a coincidence

How do I fix this?

I just realized I had multiple chat requests from months and years ago that I never knew about. Can I make it so people can immediately message me, or get notifications for chat requests?

I just became an xbox insider and i tried to put my red dead redemption disc in and it didn’t give me a digital license. Did i join the insiders to late or is rdr1 incompatible?

It’s not the “Something went wrong” screen, no, whenever i turn my xbox on it says “Troubleshoot” with 4 options, the first being continue which just turns my screen black And seemingly does nothing, the other being “reset this xbox” which leads to factory reset options that i don’t want to do, a “offline system update“ option that is greyed out, not allowing me to interact with it at all, and a “turn off this Xbox” option. Help?

My Microsoft account has been set to passwordless by me since I'm into security and also don't like fiddling with passwords if I can avoid it(hence passwordless)

Apparently the system on xbox consoles is broken with passwordless accounts since for certain things like capture settings, background/wallpaper etc whenever I even open said setting I need to "sign in to my account(which I'm already signed into)" and the options are to scan a QR code or use a controller, both options don't work

I've tried removing and re-adding my account, and my secondary account(which doesn't have passwordless enabled) works fine

Some people will immediately tell "just disable passwordless" but it's not that simple

Every time you disable and re-enable passwordless, you have to change your password to a new unused one(turning passwordless off) just to turn passwordless back on

Passwordless accounts have existed for quite some time yet I'm amazed no one in Xbox has noticed this, and im not the only one suffering from this Is there any way to get the message to Xbox? I've tried the new player voice thing but it wasn't effective

My download is stuck at 3.7GB. I already tried to install offline and also tried to download from the store but the store doesn’t have Just Dance 2015? So I can’t use the online method. What else can I try?
