First time playing xc2 and it says that i can't increase the energy cap so what can I do with these extra slots?

I've finally played the new game mode (I was waiting for the audio fix to drop) and honestly I think is a massive achievement from Monolith.

- It has the depth of a puddle.

- Not really that replayable.

But…

+ Every single rare blade has an unique basic attack animation.

+ The feedback for the combat is on point and that for me is by far the most important and impressive thing about the mode, it feels responsive, just like an action oriented combat should feel.

I think we are underestimating the amount of work put into this and honestly if this is what they achieved with a side mode of a side mode of a game released in 2017 then I'm REALLY excited for what Genesis can be if they go in this direction.

I released I basically never use any other role besides healer and tank for Nia and Tora respectively in the early game. I think is a waste considering how flexible this game's class system is.

It would be fun to have a pseudo Mio in the team.

Just made it to the Eryth Sea and the game has reached a new level of grandure. I have a hard time imagining the sites getting any great than this. Has the game peaked?

I’m about 20 hours in and realised I haven’t been getting many equipment gems, haven’t done any affinity links, felt the story was missing something cus i missed a load of character development in said affinity links and only just understand aggro. i really want to like this game, so should i give it a long while and restart or try to keep going and backtrack for affinity links, learn the equipment system etc. also any youtube videos on understanding the equipment system would be appreciated

Given what we learn after defeating Egil, is it safe to say Shulk was being influenced by Zanza from the moment he resolved to go on this journey? He mentions to Reyn that one voice in his head is angry and demanding all Mechon destroyed, and that it gets louder & louder. He also seems rather meek before this, and becomes more rough & tumble than one would expect even with Fiora dying.

I keep seeing stuff about how some of the DLC/NG+ Blades are internally counted as one of the eight "main" weapon types despite apparently having a unique one (i.e. Shulk being a Shield Hammer), but unlike MOMO, whose Bunnie still counts as a Bitball for the purposes of Merc Missions and Driver Arts, all of the other DLC/NG+ Blades have completely unique Driver Arts.

So like, how does that work? Do their "internal" weapon types still count as missing?

160 hours, Every Rare Blade, Every Blade Quest, Majority of the Merc Missions completed, Every Regular Side Quest (Except for about 20ish of em that weren't really worth dick doing), Several Affinity Charts completed, and almost all H2H's!

I really feel like the field skills change in this version made the game faster and smoother since it eliminated the need for switching blades around in the menu and having to potentially level up a blade just to complete a field skill check, definitely chopped several hours off just from that alone. Also I did about half of the blade quests in NG+, so that made some of em a bit quicker too tackle too.

But overall this is still my favorite video game of all time, and this worth the $10 upgrade no questions asked.

Can never go back to the Switch 1 version after playing the SW2E, then again who'd wanna do that lol.

Might replay Torna now, since it got the 4K 60FPS boost too. I have it physically if you're wondering why it's not on my title screen.

So I'm running Morag as an evasion tank, just reached the world tree, then went back to unlock Theory. On Morag I have Brighid, Aegaeon and Corvin but I feel like I should switch one of them out for Theory but which one? Light element is pretty redundant in my setup between and Mythra and Kos-mos but Corvin seems pretty good. What do you guys think?

So I have two main large theories about xenoblade genesis's story that I think may be true so here we go:

Theory 1. The world of xenoblade genesis is the fused world of xenoblade chronicles 1 and xenoblade chronicles 2 but perfectly merged and sort of rebooted into a new world, and the purple stuff we are seeing is the left over power of ouroborous OR The sword of the end now spread throughout the world.

Theory 2. The world of xenoblade genesis is actually one of the many worlds affected by klaus's experiment (Not created by it but instead affected by it by the residents of Earth ending up there long long ago) And the power that we see is that of the sword of the end but after the events of xenoblade chronicles 3. Due to the world of Aionios splitting up the power left to the two Worlds and ended up in this new one.

So yeah those are my theories for xenoblade genesis I know they're not much and also Also, they both have a common thread of the sword of the end being in them But I think they are still valid theories. So yeah, I hope you like my theories and I hope you enjoy them.

As much as I love them both, I do gotta admit Mythra has the slight edge over Pyra, I just feel like her personality is more fun lmao

I really enjoy the main cast, story, and setting and the combat is as fun as ever, however this game suffers from having too many superfluous game mechanics. It feels like you are drowning because it keeps piling on new system after new system.
