Hey guys!
Hope you’ve been well and staying whelmed - especially with the news Greg shared at SDCC. That moment reminded us thatYoung Justice still has a future, and that fan support is going to be key in making it happen.
With SDCC out of the way, the team has been shifting into full gear to get everything ready for Phase 2 of the campaign. Right now we’re in a Phase 1.5 stage laying the groundwork, building our tools, and making sure everything is in place before the big push. One of the most important pieces we’re working on right now is our campaign website.
A little bit about me: besides being a huge fan of Young Justice, my day job is as a software engineer. So I thought: why not use those skills to help the fandom in a real way? This site will be our central hub for news, outreach info, and tools to make it easier than ever for fans to get involved and show their support and love for the show.
I’m looking for 2-3 other developers to join me in building this site. We’ll keep it low-pressure, work as a small team, and share ideas openly. This is also a great resume builder if you want to showcase collaborative, mission-driven work with modern web tech.
We know everyone has lives, jobs, school, and other commitments - so we’re only asking for about 5 hours a month (just over 1 hour a week). Totally async, totally flexible.
You don’t have to be an expert - enthusiasm matters more than years of experience. Here’s what would be helpful:
Even if you’re only confident in one area or just starting out but eager to learn you’re welcome.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, please fill out the interest form below. Let’s build something awesome together for this fandom and keepYoung Justice alive.
Fill out the interest form:
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop a comment below or DM me and I would happy to answer any questions!
I want again emphasize that this campaign is built by the fans for the fans. Everything we’re doing from watch parties to social pushes to this website comes from the passion of people who love this show and believe in its future. We’re not waiting for someone else to make it happen. We’re doing it ourselves, and we’d love for you to be part of that.
We will have other volunteer opportunities opening soon once phase 2 is launched where anyone can get involved so stay tuned on r/YoungJustce!
Let's build together!
Let's stay whelmed.
Let's #KeepYJAlive!

Both are immortal conquerers, both believe in survival of the fittest, and both are the first of a new race of superpowered people. With how much inspiration they took from marvel it makes sense that they made Vandal Savage the Apocalypse to the metahumans 's mutants

So I was just rewatching young justice , and I was thinking that what if wanda was in the young justice universe and was training and enhancing her magic abilities. Kind of like how the MCU had Wanda evil in the beginning? And then she turned into an Avenger, I think that would be good in the first season or maybe the second, but for some reason, this keeps crossing my mind and like Wanda would really be like an overpowered being. At least in the YJ universe universe, maybe have a love interest.

Brion's accession to power greatly facilitated Helga's return to Markovia, eager to make amends for her past mistakes, with the help of Zvian Baasovi. Since then, she has held a privileged position within the new king’s inner circle; she now works at the Markov Family Meta-Human Youth Center, where she helps many young people activate their Meta-Genes. As soon as new meta-humans are born, Helga regards them as her own children.
Returning to Tara and Brion, even though they are now on opposing sides, Helga secretly harbors a desire to reunite them. She has viewed them as her children ever since she activated their respective Meta-Genes; she is likely scheming behind Brion’s back to kidnap Tara and bring her to Markovia.

I’m not going to spoil anything, but if anyone has watched the later seasons, and really looks at certain relationships, and actions, you’ll know why I’m asking for this. That’s all. I ain’t gonna spoil, but I want this for reasons that people who know will get why.

what do you guys think of his writing as a whole i think it’s great through all the seasons I know some people’s critique is that they didn’t care about the new characters and that they wanted the old characters back and the time skip

Im currently watching justice league animated series and halfway through season 2. I received positive reviews of unlimited and young justice but want to try something new after the original JCLA since im afraid the stories will be too repetitive revolving around the members of JL . Should i start young justice after it or something new if so any suggestions?

Tim Curry, who originated the role of G. Gordon Godfrey, has passed away. It really felt like he had fun with the role. It might not have been his most iconic role but still memorable for YJ fans.

We know that Bart’s lying about pretty much everything about himself. I imagine that due to chronic malnourishment, he hadn’t started puberty yet and is a lot smaller than he should be. He’s still underweight for 12, but that’s a lot less concerning in a 12 year old than it would be in a teenager, so Nathaniel advised him to take a few years off of his age
(Side note: due to this, I imagine that he’s not the greatest at estimating people’s ages in the past, because all the younger people look older than they actually are to him and all the older people look younger than they actually are to him)

It's been a little over 3 months since I started rewatching YJ for the first time since S4 finished airing, man oh man, what a ride it's been. Usually, I tend to binge-watch things, but this show is special to me, so I wanted to savour it. Weird how many things have changed in my life since my last rewatch, though. I have one ep left, so I'll be back in like 25-ish minutes. Season 3-4 is peak asl too idc what anyone says about them. ANY young justice content is 10/10 to me

Who would win?

I'm saying this specifically about Superman; in the final episode of Season 4, Granny Goodness and Grayven introduced two new warriors to Darkseid who will make up the new generation of Furies: Black Mary and Supergirl. It’s no secret that Kara Zor-El is Superman’s cousin, but in Young Justice, Clark is still unaware of her existence, convinced until now that he is the last survivor of Krypton.
When he learns that he has a cousin and that she has been severely brainwashed on Apokolips, he will do everything in his power to save her and rescue her from Darkseid’s control. He’ll want to get to know her, teach her to control her powers, help her adapt to life on Earth, and help her overcome the many traumas she’s experienced before integrating her into either the Outsiders, the Team, or the Justice League.
Kara's arrival will also change the daily lives of Conner and Megan. For Conner—who is Superman's clone and whom Superman sees more as a younger brother than as a son—Kara is also his cousin, and he will likely reach out to her.

We had a pretty special Young Justice moment this weekend.
At Anime Impulse Anaheim, we had the opportunity to meet Jason Spisak and give him a piece of Wally West artwork as a thank-you from the #KeepYJAlive community.
Jason surprised us with this message for Young Justice fans and, appropriately enough, Wally walked away with another souvenir. ⚡
For anyone who has helped keep the conversation around Young Justice going, supported its creators, shared the show with new fans, or simply continued loving this world after all these years: this one is for you.
A huge thank-you to Jason for taking the time to record this and for the incredibly kind words about the fans who continue keeping awareness of YJ alive.
And yes…
It’s better than Chicken Whizzies.

Right down to using the exact same character model for Geo-Force (albeit recolored)

There aren't too many differences between this version of Batman and the one from Young Justice, which makes sense when you consider that the artist behind it is none other than Phil Bourassa.

I'm writing a S1 fanfic where Zatara and Zatanna are more major characters (they take a crossover character as their sidekick as he joins the Team). I want to read their comics to learn more about them. I know YJ characters are often composites of several different runs and Zatanna is an adult in many of them, but are there particular runs or versions you guys would recommend I read first?
So far my only exposure to Comics Zatanna is a brief crossover with Impulse where Bart annoyed her into sending him to another dimension.

Super random, but I’m rewatching the show again and I’m curious if this seems familiar to anyone. I’m working on a fanfic and I’d like to get a little more specific than “Manhattan” if at all possible. I know this set up doesn’t literally exist, but I was wondering if this mix of apartments, business, and then a random mansion on one corner feels like it belongs in one or two neighborhoods in particular. (Anyone curious about what episode this is: it’s “Secrets” and the mansion in question is Harm’s and Greta’s place)
Edit: Okay so what I mean by “neighborhoods” is: does it look like it belongs in Chelsie, the Upper East Side, Hells Kitchen, that sort of thing.
