That's usually my biggest argument to young men/MAGA/Conservatives that want a Tradwife life style.

You need one large income to support it all and most don't. Today's econony is vastly different then the 1950s.

They blame women but can't see the real problem. It's economics.

And they will malign and demean a woman who expects a man to pay for everything. Beyond whatever they view as “feminism”, there was an enormous cultural push for women to not be gold-diggers, which was defined as wanting men to pay for dinner, rent, beauty treatments etc. So what they really want is a quiet bang maid who is ok with living below a middle class standard in order to stay home with kids.

Our dollar has gotten so weak. A loaf of bread is 25-50x what it was in the 50’s. The dollar is worth way less than it was back then.

They think it's still possible to save money by sewing your own clothes and stuff, and that women shouldn't have hobbies.
