Hi!
This guy showed up on my doorstep about an hour ago. He has a red tag on each leg, but I cannot make out what they say. I was going to try to grab him to read the tag but do not want to stress him out. He didn’t go crazy when I got close, and he drank some water I gave him. I believe he’s a pigeon but cannot tell if he is wild or maybe a pet?
I don’t want him to get eaten by a fox or something overnight.
Any advice on how to proceed?

Coyote and….somethin else….in the backyard tonight. A dog? A raccoon? Riparian habitat in a suburban area

They were huge, the photos don’t do their size justice. I drove right up to them, they were not intimidated or scared of my vehicle.

Poking around a bit of sandy riverbank near an industrialized bit of the lower Stó:lō/Fraser River, we found human and dog and raccoon tracks in the wet intertidal zone. Then there was this little thing I couldn’t ID. Critter would have been active in the early morning but not before 8am as this sand was underwater then. Pic 2 includes my US size 7 boot for scale.

I found these tracks around this time last year in the southern Appalachian region, and I still haven’t been able to figure out what made them.
I’m keeping the exact location vague because I don’t want the location itself to influence the identification. The prints were roughly 4 to 4.5 inches long.
Any ideas what animal these could be?

I’m certain this is some sort of mustelid, but I’m not sure which one. About the size of a house cat, but maybe a bit longer including the tail. Seen on a hike in the hills near Ashland, and quite a trek away from any body of water. My best guess is either a mink or a marten, but the tail didn’t look quite like anything I could find online

I have a game camera up at my camp in central Maine. Near Moosehead Lake. There’s fish, crawdads and muscles in this small body of water fed by a brook. I caught this animal swimming across the edge of the pond. Can anyone properly ID it?

We see deer, bobcats, mountain lions, and even a house cat. This guy has us stumped.

I know that the flair is probably the wrong one but there isn't one for amphibians, only reptiles??

I think the large bird in Image 1 is a Western European Herring Gull (Larus argentatus argenteus) and the small black bird in Image 2 didn't have a red beak so I don't think it was a Eurasian Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus).

I tried to give it a stale cookie but it didn't want it.

I am unsure if this is like a weird small frog or what

Stumbled across this recording I’d taken in early April of 2025 of this creepy sounding critter I’d hear pretty much every night. This was taken out in the country on my in laws’s property near their pond. My guess is either it’s a skinwalker, Creature from the Black Lagoon, OR more likely some kind of frog or toad. I’m curious to see if anyone knows what specific species it might be. Really gave me the heebie jeebies hearing that coming from the wooded pond area on a pitch black night 😳

My 5 year old is asking me what it is and I don’t have an answer for him 🙃 he thinks I’m the coolest and smartest mom of all time, so this is really losing me some major cool points here.

Any help is greatly appreciated! As mentioned in the title this was taken in Oklahoma but just in case I need to be more specific, this is the Newcastle/Blanchard area. Thanks in advance!
