Free Album Codes [Indie-Stoner] We finally released our second album on vinyl! Giving away some download codes this Bandcamp Friday to celebrate.
Hey everyone! We are Stoned Hare, an indie-stoner band from Brazil. We draw a lot of influence from bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Ghost, Arctic Monkeys, and Roky Erickson—mixing heavy riffs with a more alternative atmosphere.
We’ve been working really hard and finally managed to press our second album, Medication for Enemies, on vinyl! Since it's Bandcamp Friday, we wanted to share this milestone with the community by giving away some download codes.
We are currently selling these records to help fund the production of our third album, and hopefully, to hit the road and tour outside of Brazil one day. Every bit of support means the world to us.
If you like the sound, grab a code below to redeem at: stonedhare.bandcamp.com/yum
And if anyone wants to support our goal for the next album and grab the physical vinyl, you can find it here: stonedhare.bandcamp.com
Thanks for listening!

Question/Help listening party : public or private ?
Hi ! I made a listening party yesterday. It was the second time. The first time, the party was public by default, and Bandcamp show a link in the live list.
When i made the second party, it seem to be private (for followers only) when i didn't pick the option. Of course, the live wasn't in the list on the BC's home.
So, my question is, how to be sure to have a live in public ?

Milestone I'm so proud of myself right now!!!!
Today I broke 500 dollars in sales on bandcamp. Took myself off of spotify & its ilk in December of last year and hopped on the bandcamp train. Here's to never looking back! I deeply appreciate everyone who supported me so far and would like to take some space up to also just be a lil' bit proud of myself. I work damn hard and I'm proud of myself. Hope you all get to feel the same way about your passion and goals! -Making Woman

Free Download Experimental hip hop album with creative beat switches, Also I rap and sing on the album
I made a new experimental hip hop album titled Self Aware Combo and my album has lyrics that are truthful and sometimes creative. I tried my best to make this album an experience with my creativity, out of the 7 songs on the album there are 4 songs that have creative beat switches. I made this album in my bedroom (except for one song that's on the album), I recorded my vocals with a Blue Yeti Microphone and I mostly used FL Studio 20 and Soundtrap for the instruments. I love creativity within music so much that most of the time I try to make the music as creative as possible but sometimes I will make a simple song. Also telling the truth in my lyrics is very important because I want people to know exactly who I am and how I think about life, I want people to know a lot about me in every album.

Psychedelic My debut album - Nothing Happened in the Woods
Hi everyone! I recently released my debut album on Bandcamp and thought I’d share it here.
Genre-wise, it’s mostly psychedelic rock, with some experimental decisions along the way and fairly fairytale-like lyrics. It ended up being very 60s-70s inspired, although I didn’t really set out with a specific genre in mind when I started making it.
I wrote, recorded, produced and mixed the whole thing myself, and the entire album was made without leaving my bedroom. I experimented quite a lot with reverse sounds, strange textures, and basically whatever I could think of with the equipment I had. It was a pretty huge learning experience, and I definitely understand music production much better now than I did when I started it.
I actually hated this album when I finished it. I couldn’t stand listening to it anymore, partly because I’d spent so much time with it. I ended up deleting it from all streaming services, leaving it on Bandcamp, and forgetting about it for a couple of months. Today I decided to listen to it again with fresh ears and to my surprise, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I remembered. There are obviously things I’d do differently now, but I actually found myself enjoying it, which felt like a good enough reason to finally share it again.
So, here it is:
https://arthurwilliamalbert.bandcamp.com/album/nothing-happened-in-the-woods
I also have some free codes if anyone wants one. Just leave a comment or message me in whichever way is most convenient, and I’ll DM you a code.
I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially if you listen to the whole thing.

Service Offering Singer Songwriter offering her services for a fee (starting at $100)
Hey! I've tried posting earlier but someone managed to (I'm guessing) report my post, not sure why. As the title states, I am a singer songwriter from Europe, offering to lend my voice and lyrics writing services if needed for a fee. My vocals, I have been told are atmospheric, ethereal, haunting. I've mainly been working through Fiverr since it's an objective platform for freelancers and clients and people trust it because of how it works. I have a 5 star rating there and am a Vetted Pro, which means Fiverr trusted and reviewed my profile. Listeners have compared my voice and style to Tori Amos, Björk, Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey, Regina Spektor, Meg Myers, Phoebe Bridgers, and Roniit.
You can hear my previous work at the links below:
Bandcamp https://therealrunna.bandcamp.com/album/no-place-to-hide
I have my music on other platforms too, if you need more information please Dm me and I will send you everything you'd like to know
PS: in the past I used to also caption the reviews from my previous collabs, but it seems some people unfairly accused me of making them up. If you'd like to read the reviews, message about it and I will give you the link to my fiverr, where all can be revealed. I really dislike being accused of my music being made with artificial intelligence (it has happened with my previous post, probably why it got taken down), I've been making music for years, and it hurts to hear that type of thing as an artist trying to basically just do what I love and attempting to provide for myself in the process. I can send raw dry vocals if needed.

Discussion Copyright infringement claims are becoming more frequent
I’ve noticed an increase in claims over the last few weeks...
I have a few reworks of tracks by major, well-known artists (Billie Eilish, Ace of Base, etc.)some of which have been on Bandcamp for over a decade (just to clarify, I don't sell them...). They’ve been taken down by Bandcamp in recent months at the request of the rights holders. Of course, I’m not disputing it; I’m just noting that rights holders seem more wary of small-scale remixes on Bandcamp.

Review Reviews: 5 Neo-Electro classic releases that are available on bandcamp
Hi Friends,
I am a "DIY music journalist", and I wrote the following text for my blog originally.
But because it's bandcamp related, I thought, why not post it here, too.
The context is that more and more "established" or well-known labels host their releases on bandcamp, too, now. So there are some really famous classics on the website! And other important releases.
Note: No AI whatsoever has been used in these reviews!
And here is the text:
5 Neo-Electro Techno reviews and a heads-up
Electro or Electro-Funk... well, it was a genre in the 80s, often lumped together with Hip Hop, the Rap scene, free style... the "difference" to regular Hip Hop is that it's made up to 99% of synthetic and digital sounds. Even the voices get "vocodorized". The genre was quite underground, best known tracks are probably "Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)" by Hashim or Planet Rock. And maybe the stuff by Egyptian Lover.
So, this genre got more or less replaced by the even more computerized dance, acid and rave craze of the 90s...
But when that madness did fade away again, towards the end of the 90s, some producers suddenly gazed back upon the 80s... and did some electro stuff again!
What followed was a looong evolution, that took several years and lasts till today. And now electro sounds are almost everywhere, and we got famous artists like Miss Kittin or Vitalic that are influenced by it... well, I guess, there are even *newer* artists around by now.
To cut a long story (or evolution) short, Pop / Dance electro type music is on one end of the spectrum... and then there is more obscure, refined, "sophisticated" stuff. And I want to talk about, and review, 5 of these releases right here. I (really) think these are essential for everyone who wants to go deeper into the... electro revival!
I-f - Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass (Viewlexx V-002)
According to their own accord, the bunker crew were some kind of nerd-squatters in the netherlands, that did those hardcore / acid parties in... well, bunkers and warehouses, with a bunch of weirdos freaks... from all walks of life.
and wouldn't you guess it, one of the DJs and producers associated with that scene, was electro-rocking it on the MTV(*) only a few years later. Because "Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass" was on heavy rotation on the various dance programs of TV and other channels, and I guess a lot of people who came home or came down from hardcore raving and other nastiness on a friday or saturday night, sank down on their couch and turned on the TV... will remember chilling to this track when the very video of it came up.
so, yes, it's a literal underground "hit", and i love it, too. very good electro, cool futuristic lyrics... cool concept... completely the correct thing for cool cats!
(*yeah you are right I sneaked a "sk8er boi" reference into this review, i am sorry!)
https://viewlexx.bandcamp.com/album/viewlexx-v-002-space-invaders-are-smoking-grass
Umwelt - ... & The Day Came Part 1 (New Flesh - NF01)
That's the release that really put Umwelt on the radar for me... as a very cool electro producer.
I'm all about "Future Darkness". It has a very cool sample, or sequence of samples out of a speech from the Cronenberg classic Scanners.
The way it is used, it feels more like the broadcast of military commands than the dialogue between... two chemical mutants, as in the movie.
which fits to the beats, imho, as they are more like marching beats than electro.
and yeah, the whole release gives the feel that we are marching into a dark future!

I-f / Jungian Archetype - Test Pilot Volume 1 (Viewlexx - V12 / 2A)
Hello?
"Shadow of the clown" is on here.
You don't know it?
It's this very weird acid / electro tune that seems to have a loop of 808 percussion. And 15-16 tones that get repeated for 7 minutes straight. and it is one of the best electronic productions ever. shows how far you can get with minimalism, aight?
also has become very popular in the doomcore techno scene now.
https://viewlexx.bandcamp.com/album/viewlexx-v12-2x-test-pilot-volume-1-2025-digi-release
Univac - Radiation (Bunker Records - 3092)
Apparently an electro / bunker classic, but i ve been a bit late to the (bunker) party, as i heard it for the first time only recently.
it's deservingly a classic. the killer track is a1. i don't know much about univac, but unlike some electro contemporaries, this project does not seem to aim that much at continuing the sound of egyptian lover or planet rock, but rather seems to find inspiration in kraftwerk. and maybe they are the only electro act that can claim they *really* sound like kraftwerk. and maybe... even a bit better.
oh and going back to a1. there is this "weird" thing with the main synth melody, as that it constantly seems to slide out of "pitch"... don't know what they did here or how they did it, but this gives the whole thing a very convincing "outer space" edge!
https://bunker-panzerkreuz.bandcamp.com/album/radiation-bunker-3092
Battle Systems - The Killer Instinct E.P. (Battle Trax 001)
The inceptory release on the label.
It's interesting, as you can see a melange of sounds of the London electronic/hardcore underground here. A lot of stuff that only began to bloom in the years that follow later - like the industrial and electro labels in the city at the turn of the millennium (and beyond). Even a bit of acid-tek.
But let's not digress beyond the core of this release. Great, slamming, steel-reinforced "electro" hardcore.
https://battletrax.bandcamp.com/album/battle-systems-killer-instinct-ep?from=embed
I-f - Portrait Of A Dead Girl 1: The Cause (Viewlexx - V12/ 1)
Supercool release by I-F.
Electro, as a genre, often feels as if it's music that was done by aliens.
But this is the type of music that makes you feel as if *you*, the one in the crowd, is the alien, while the DJ is human. if that makes sense!
I Do Because I Couldn't Care Less is such a tune. and a nice ironic stab at aphex twin the same.
And there is Envy. Not envy of other producers, but a track called "Envy".
It's one of the dirtiest nastiest "minimal" dance tunes ever.

Introduction How to get started with bandcamp?
Hello everyone
This is my first post here, so I labelled it with introduction, but it’s more of a question though..
Recently I discovered bandcamp and uploaded a single and an album. I am a bit confused about this platform as a concept
How do you actually communicate with other people on bandcamp and what are some things you would recommend doing in order to get people to hear your music?
I just expected bandcamp to be some sort of complete social network with posting and stuff, but apparently it doesn’t work that way..

Electronic Calibrated for your listening pleasure. So much so that you should be wearing a sleep mask if done correctly.
I feel this is a really strong track I've just finished. I'm hoping you love it on repeat. It actually started as a Enya "Caribbean Blue" remix, but I ended up ditching most of that. However, the impact crater left behind from such a prolific song allowed me to forge something entirely new its place.

Milestone Made it to $100! Thanks to the kind person who chose to pay $25 for one of my albums recently, completely unexpected.
All my music is pay-what-you-want, so very surprised and appreciative to the individual who opted to pay $25 for an album recently, and to everyone else who has supported over the years.
