Here's my first mech of my mercenary company.

A Kingfisher Prime for the Scorpion's Alpha Galaxy. It got such a glow up with CGL's redesign and as one of the few clan omnis with a standard engine, you gotta love it!

Not to be the bringer of bad news, but in terms of video games, Castle has had jack shit to say since 2003 and is now more famous for bouncing from boardroom to boardroom. He was attached to EA Los Angeles who put out two less-than-favorably reviewed Medal Of Honor games before being shuttered in 2013, he worked at Zynga and at several other studios which didn't even get a game out of the door. The most noteworthy piece of media he was involved with recently was Amazon's botched Crucible live-service game, the development of which is a cautionary tale on what not to do when building a high-end video game.

There's no pitch for anything in this, investors are supposed to back this idea on Castle's vita alone. Call me cynical but this has way too many red flags on it.

Class: Lexington Class Armoured Cruiser
Length: 1188 Meters
Mass: 1,500,000 tons

Designed before the Reunification War the Lexington-class would cause one of the first large scale spats in halls of the newly formed SLDF Admiralty. Authorised for limited production in the build up to hostilities the Lexington fell afoul of wrangling over its role. Battleship Admirals said that the ship was clearly a battleship thanks to its size and protection as well as aerospace capacity. They would also be more modern than many battleships with the SLDF having to rely on older Monsoon and even Dreadnought-class ships in addition to the Farragut class.

Cruiser Admirals said that its speed, endurance and more limited firepower made it a cruiser and was a suitable replacement for the numerous Aegis class ships and a Command ship for squadrons of Avatar class Heavy Cruisers. Whilst this doctrinal bickering didn't affect the introduction of the Lexington, the cost of its armour and the fact that they took up slips needed for Battleships did. There would also be a series of bureaucratic 'plots' within the halls of the Admiralty to kill the project from both sides of the debate, a 'if we can't have it then no one will' mindset.

The class had been designed to counter the Albion-class Battlecruiser designed by House Davion and in this role, it was successful, but the ego's over doctrinal disputes as well as the cost of the ship limited its production. In the end eighteen ships would enter service with the SLDF, spread between cruiser squadrons where they acted as flagships, and with battleship squadrons where they acted as a 'fast wing' for the far more numerous Monsoon's.

The SLS Bakhmut was one of the initial ships laid down, with each ship named after a famous battle from Terran History, the Bakhmut was assigned to the 22nd Cruiser Squadron of the 3rd Fleet, part of the initial wave of WarShips assigned to Taskgroup Taurus. The Bakhmut was involved in a major engagement with a squadron of Taurian Jackal class raiders when she stumbled across them and their Far Ridge supply and command jumpship. Despite taking hits from multiple nuclear torpedoes, the Bakhmut was able to destroy the Taurian raiders before being joined by other WarShips from the 8th and 12th flotilla's. Badly damaged, the Bakhmut was repaired in system and would return to active service seeing engagements on all fronts of the Reunification War before being retired from front line duties, serving as a guard ship and training ship before finally being decomissioned and broken up. Her name would continue to be used in successive SLDF WarShips until the final days of the League.

Hello all, here's my most recent project - my Palkia Pillager! This was my first attempt at gem effects....and a bit of a failure. Gem effects can be hard and off-white in general is a pain.

Ended up using a chalky pink to mix, I now know better. Besides the chalkiness and the pearls not turning out amazing (I attempted to follow a video for painting off white, a bit of a wash to darken, then gloss varnish to make the shiny effect to middling success), I think it turned out decently well. I do love the claws of it.

Soon to follow, a Crusader! Any guesses as to the Pokemon it will be?

Hey y'all, my partner decided to paint the Gothic mech I got in a blind box. She's not a player, probably won't be, but she heard Gothic and went "mine"

Her and I painted together. I'm making my little Crusader (will post soon), having fun, look over, and she's out here just painting perfection lol.

And then she goes "It's not badass enough yet. I'ma paint a rose on the shoulder plate"

Needless to say, I've been adoringly blown away by her skill. Enjoy!

This terrain on the website is listed as being for 10 mm scale. Would it fit well with Alpha Strike? Has anyone here had any experience with pre-printed terrain?

I would really appreciate some feedback and suggestions!
