NFTs are still a thing, apparently. So should we buy them in 2026?

A few years after the NFT boom, we check in on the market to see what happened to Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, Beeple’s $69 million NFT, and the people who bought them.

Are NFTs actually worth anything now? Can you still make money with NFTs? And most importantly, are NFT bros doing okay?

I recently came across this guy through his wife's channel and at first, he seems like a genuinely decent guy and potentially a quiet breadtuber. He's a white guy who married an Indian woman, seems to try to keep personal opinions and commentary out of his historical videos, and seems to have an appropriate appreciation for all of history and not the typical weird obsession for Rome/Germany that chuds do. Plus, his wife is anti-LLM-AI (except in logical places like medical field) and seems like she wouldn't put up with chud-racism. The whole 40K thing is another small hint too, because chuds typically hyper fixate on Space Marines but he seems to appreciate all of the factions (I think he's a guardsman player?) and his wife/daughter pick xenos, which I can't imagine a chud would tolerate.

I prefer my historians to be quiet about their politics when talking about history because I like history to be taught in as objective "here are the facts" manner so I was hopeful about him.

Yet, his comment section is always full of obvious alt-right chuds. Like full Nick Fuentes types. So I have to wonder if his nazi bar of a comment section hints at him being actually an alt-right chud - and considering that alt-right chuds love ethnic women for some reason, it would explain the above.

Does anyone have any information or opinions about him and his wife?

I’ve been watching his videos on and off about various science fiction properties, and I’m trying to understand where he’s coming from. He seems to have flack for both the right and the left, but a surprising amount of flack for the left.

He definitely doesn’t seem to be akin to BlackBirdCoop/ Mr Newman, his ire seems to be focused on those with stated progressive values but bullshit methods.

Anyway, has anybody watched enough of his stuff to come to a solid conclusion? He has such a long catalog that I’m worried I’m getting indoctrinated into something bad but I can’t quite tell. Half the time I take issue with what he has to say.

Not entirely sure this is "breadtube" content, haven't watched the whole thing yet, but the youtuber describes himself as left-wing and has made good content in the past.
