Why are his eyes so far apart

Background information: Cat is well over a year old and his eyes appeared to be way too big for his head and extremely far apart. Is this a characteristic of a certain breed he may be mixed with or is he… just built different. His name is Jax

Meet our 14 yr old boy Leo who has the same wide-set eyes. Agreed with another commenter that it’s to hold more empty space 🙃 He’s our little garden elf.

It's called Hypertelorism btw, usually just caused by inbreeding but could be a bone abnormality on rare occasions. It's harmless but your cat might be a little clumsy.
