Man. This is sad. I used to come to this kind of post and sort by controversial to see all the butthurt conservative lose their shit, but their numbers have been dwindling. Used to be hundreds of them in the comment section now just a few handful and even the bots amongst them seemed to have died down quite a bit.

What happened conservatives? Losing faith in your orange God?

Judging by the deleted comments, it’s probably more likely the automod and power mods are culling anything that’s not in support of anti Trump sentiment.

Also likely that most conservatives have this and other default subs muted.

Pre-Trump this sub was amazing and had a ton of variety. Post-Trumps first election it’s vastly US politics related at the highest upvoted.

Candidly IDAF about US politics, so I just scroll past this sub 9/10 times.

There's a lot of subreddits that are fiercely anti-Trump and anti-conservative in general, and there are quite a few that are completely the opposite, anti-liberal subreddits. It's important to occasionally check in on both sides to see how they feel, if only because it's a reminder that someone out there is infinitely more miserable than you on a second to second basis.

As someone who lives in the USA and staunchly believes every politician in a position to change anything for the betterment of the common man is on the hook to the highest bidder, it's saddening to see my fellow Americans at ground level fighting each other over their support of people on both sides who couldn't care less about Joe Schmo down the street just trying to make a decent life for themselves.
