After a long wait, my Facebook Page finally got approved for Content Monetization today! 🎉

I’m a creator from Vietnam making cinematic content about Vietnamese history, and this is a huge milestone for me.

Tax profile (W-8BEN) is also completed and validated. Now it’s time to keep creating and see how the new monetization program performs.

Meta acknowledged and fixed the “technical error” that resulted in a bunch of Facebook groups getting banned. Does anyone know when they’ll fix this on going issue for personal and business accounts?

Still shows as hear back by August but if you scroll down on monetisation it should say “activate” and then set up! Long time coming ✅🫡🔥

The annoying, insane attitude of any commenter who derps his way onto your post or topic has pretty much become a societal norm online. Now Facebook is playing the game! I don’t think they’re reaching a crash-out on the level of renaming lakes like Google but they’re close. But every time I see another rude comment telling me the video game I briefly mentioned sucked and needs to die a horrible death I have to ignore it. And it’s just wave after wave of these annoying hate comments bombarding you like Molotov cocktails. If this were like, an actual friend, doing this I’d report him for harassment, but he’s another dumb stranger using his stranger danger as a crutch for prioritizing his angst over seeking mental health.

Seriously FB? Is your goal of bro going communities together just a ruse? Do you take pride making others miserable? I’m willing to bet there are a few criminal masterminds working behind the scenes.

So it is now September I purchased verified to speak to a live agent and this is the response I get its unacceptable they clearly didnt know anything about it they were asking what version im using like wtf

Account immediately restricted for one month !!!!

Advert manager locked out ( with running time sensitive business ads )

I immediately appeal, explaining my case ..... That was 17 days ago.... Case shows " appeal received " still being investigated.

Bank charges have been taken $ 300 for ads that I sold out of the product 15 days ago.

Adverts still running, can not pause, can not stop, can not remove " Due to account restriction "

Look I get it, AI doesn't know its elbow from its arsehole when it comes to humor, all it sees is a keyword and immediately thinks I am a drug lord trying to fiddle with kiddies and smuggle illegal immigrants over the border in cereal boxes, all the while, shooting white rhinos with my anti aircraft gun.

I mean seriously, the largest online social platform for business , yet its tied into my personal account.

A restricted account doesn't pause adverts automatically?

A month restricted with an unanswered appeal in over 15 days?

I use Facebook primarily for some groups (I am a member of probably a dozen, but admin 2). None of the groups I'm involved in are in any way controversial or political. The two I admin are for users of a hotel front desk software and fans of a small music festival. Real vanilla stuff here.

Recently I got the attached notice (screenshot 1) that my personal account was restricted from joining and posting to groups until November 24. There was no explanation as to why the account was restricted nor how to resolve the restriction. I see a similar notice on desktop (second screenshot) advising me to open FB on mobile device to confirm my identity. I do not get that as an option currently, but I have in the recent past confirmed my identify using their tool where you take a selfie and then a picture of your drivers license. I also have my identity confirmed under the business settings because I use Meta Business to manage assets and run ads for my business and others. I don't think this is related to business though as the note specifically is about groups.

When I go to my account status it shows no restrictions (3rd screenshot). Just to be sure I checked for issues related to pages and groups and it shows nothing under any of the 3 issue categories (screenshots 4-6).

I also just tried doing the facial recognition verification thing on mobile where it takes a video selfie. I believe this is to help for login issues, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Nothing has changed.

This is very annoying. I am able to admin the groups (remove members, update settings, etc.) but I cannot post or comment. If it was for just a short period of time I'd just ignore it, but this 3 month restriction is too much to ignore.

I would appreciate any advice.

For real? Like in the past few years Facebook realized that I close every notification they send, so they start sending notifications about just random shit. I posted a few pictures of my friend's wedding. All pictures were taken on my iPhone 11 (there's no AI auto enhancements like some newer phones) and all of the pictures are raw - they haven't been edited, haven't had filters added etc.

Why the hell is it saying my post contains AI content when it doesn't?

I've noticed this on a lot of other people's posts which I also know for a fact don't contain AI content.

Someone from another post said to try through instagram and use the meta verified trial and it worked for some. But mine was used up last year. And insta does say my connected Facebook is locked. How can I unlock it? Every time I open Facebook it’s a blank meta page.

Hello everyone, just wondering if you were able to get your earnings after your monetization came back?

Early this morning, I got an end date. I was hit on June 27th, and it says the restrictions will end on September 25th.

I read somewhere that some creators were able to get their held earnings while some aren’t.

How about you guys?

I’m trying to create a Meta for Developers account, The issue is: Register → (Verify Account)phone OTP received and accepted → Contact info → About you → Complete Registration → sent back to Verify account.

I have already:

• Verified the phone number and email in Accounts Center
• Enabled Facebook 2FA
• Confirmed the Instagram account is Professional and connected to the Facebook Page
• Tried both normal Chrome and Incognito
• Tried the Meta Pay phone-number workaround
• Tried different browser

The SMS verification itself works, but registration never completes.

I also cannot report this through Developer Support because submitting a support request itself requires an existing Developer account.

Can anyone please advise the immediate next step or redirect me to the appropriate support channel/team for this registration issue? or if anyone else is also facing this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I work for an organization that had a defunct Facebook profile. It hadn't been updated for several years. Rather than create a new one, I wanted to get back into the old one, as it had a lot of friends that were still relevant and some old posts that were helpful to still refer to. Luckily, I was able to get into the profile as the person I replaced still had the email address they'd used to login. It's been logged into and updated. Good on that end.

However, I've now found two more pages even older. It's like someone created a new page every couple of years and kept forgetting their info. Note: these are pages, with followers. The one I just got back into is a profile, with friends. It really makes more sense to have a page, since this is a page for an organization, not an individual.

It looks like Facebook/Meta has some sort of process that allows you to claim ownership of a page(s). I have no idea how successful the process is, but my organization is very specific and it should be pretty clear that these pages all belong to the same entity.

My question is, has anyone had experience with this process? And is it possible, if I am able to get access to these pages, to somehow merge them? Each of the three accounts has followers/friends and posts that would be great to keep. I am okay switching from a profile to a page (which Facebook would probably require anyway - they have really strict wording about NOT using profiles for organizations).

I had my marketplace access spontaneously revoked a few months ago. The AI only said that it appeared I had engaged in businesslike behavior and seemed to be selling in bulk. Except I wasn't. The algo just arbitrarily decided that my account was in the wrong. I was only selling off my childhood toys and a few household items. I had a five star rating and had been buying and selling things for over a decade. So, I argued with the AI, but there was no way to get a human. So I waited, and nothing changed in my marketplace status (this was ~4 months ago). So, a few weeks ago, I created a new FB account using a different email. It took a couple of weeks to finally get where I could even post marketplace listings, and then, four days ago it said my account looked suspicious and asked me to verify my identity. So I did. I sent my DL and waited again. Then, this morning my account got suspended. I'm really just fed up with FB at this point and will likely close my primary account entirely. Is there anything I can do at this point? I feel like this is a common problem...

Anyone else experiencing this? For context my FB account got permanently disabled over false SOC since July 10, 2026 and yet I'm still getting updates via my Instagram?

I was having a bit of a problem with this. My sister lives away for study purposes and we usually talk on messenger. When she came home for a vacation, i restricted her account just for fun. But i couldnt find the option to unrestrict her account.

If you’ve restricted someone and want to unrestrict them on messenger without activating your facebook, you private wont find a way to even enter the chat. But the only way I’ve found is to tap on their messenger note(whenever they post one, seems weird but their note still pops up even after their account being restricted). Then you will enter the chat with them and get the option to unrestrict them.

Please help me out here, share your experience!

*On July 30th 2026 Hack due to Meta Phishing email, got hacked, - hackers changed something to violate FB rules within seconds got my Primary FB (registered in 2009) permanently disabled, as well as my Instagram taken down.

*Have Screen shot of unauthorized log in, also photo credit card fraudulent charges due to the hack

*Made a new FB and Instagram account, got Meta Account center with the 2 FA and secured it.

* Signed up for Meta Verification with new accounts

* Contacted Support X amount of times, got Meta support call me but nobody could help.

got X amount of different answers as to my email got disassociated from my account.

then there is a 30 Day unlink time, I need to wait and my case will be escalated for Human review.

* 30 days are over-only to hear today that review is done by the Pro Team, my request is denied there is no evidence of a hack-Huhhhh? What in the world? Did they get confused with my new FB account?

Did they really review it? How with all the technology can they not see the hack?

In the mean time I did

*File a complaint with the AG of PA and they are working on it. got a letter after 2 weeks of filing the complaint online.

*Send a demand Letter via Legal Shield, Letter was received by Meta on August 18th 2026

Please let me know what else can I do? After September 18th 2026 Should I file small claims?

* I do have Metal Verified Premium with Instagram, Should I start another case? start it all up again? I told my story X amount of times to X amount of agents..... an now the conclusion it was not a HACK?
I am so frustrated with this, I really want my old account back, especially for my business account

A couple of weeks ago, my account was deactivated due to sexualization by people who are not over the age of 18. There were no logins on my profile or any emails regarding that, I did not post anything on my account, I had less than 24 friends and I had my profile restricted. I wasn't involved in illegal things or the like, things that were totally normal and attached to the rules of Facebook. I tried to create another profile, but the next day it was also disabled. Is there a way to get my profile back? Or some way to be able to start from 0 again with another profile without being turned off again? Or I forget to occupy Facebook.
