8 million in revenue for doing virtually nothing.

Depending on your timezone, the official HSR YT channel hasn't uploaded a single video in January.

Yeah it shows that the game can still print money with minimal content, but dayum they need to avoid having a drought patch like this again or player morale is going to be brutally low.

To be fair they got unlucky with the IRL stuff that happened 4.0 got delayed, but I also cant deny how dry it is specially in the Events that will make players comeback or login.

i mean ever since pretty much 3.2 i think most of my time playing HSR is basically:

  1. do the main story quest
  2. login, do dailies by auto, basically 5 mins a day
  3. maybe do events if they are close to ending, takes like 30 mins - 2 hours in total

its honestly pretty boring, currency war was fun when it was introduced but once i finished the highest difficulty i just stopped playing, and even with the new updates i dont even feel like playing.

it has the least amount of gameplay out of the three major hoyo games and the events themselves has been downgraded a lot compared to 1.x and 2.x versions so there is pretty much nothing to do lol.

That’s better for me cause as I literally don’t have much time to explore open world games so the only Gacha game I can properly keep up is HSR. I even had to give up on Umamusume.

Morale is already relatively low and declining. HSR in it's first 2 years is a cut above whatever Amphoreus was. Story, updates, events, and gameplay meta have all taken a considerable drop in quality and innovation

Correct observations, completely wrong conclusion

They are some game design problems that continue to plague hsr, but its not due to amphoreus being worse than belebog and xianzhou

Yes it is at least those could hold people's attention better with more brevity

Player morale is already low. At least most people I know got burnt out by amphoreus
