(Global) News So apparently, Mongil, the game everyone thought is a pure waifu game, added 4 male characters OUT OF NOWHERE last minute, and that they're also the last male characters ever to be released
I'm sorry i just can't fathom their logic. because what do you mean you added male characters right before launch? they were not mentioned anywhere, not part in any beta tests. they already established an audience that likes the direction and thought "let's randomly add male characters at launch" and thinks their "target audience" is gonna like it? lol
"absolutely necessary for the narrative" what does that even mean??????? you could turn every character in genshin a male or female and it would STILL have the same story, nothing will change.
the only reason i could think of is they wanted publicity, because this is an absurd move, they wanted to be "controversial" to gain attention, because i swear this game has been gaining attention BECAUSE it added male characters out of nowhere.
but it's netmarble so i highly recommend don't Play it.

Lmao desperation move to avoid the "waifu gooner game" stigma that chases off mainstream players I guess. Also like this is the most insulting level yet of jangling keys to try and get male character fans to do free social media advertising for them. If they want to make an all-waifu game then make one, this half-assed nonsense just pisses everyone off. Waifu-only fans get angry because they don't want men or the mainstream audience in "their" games and husbando fans get angry because it's just pathetic baiting.
Countdown to EoS already started.
