(Global) News So apparently, Mongil, the game everyone thought is a pure waifu game, added 4 male characters OUT OF NOWHERE last minute, and that they're also the last male characters ever to be released

Post image

I'm sorry i just can't fathom their logic. because what do you mean you added male characters right before launch? they were not mentioned anywhere, not part in any beta tests. they already established an audience that likes the direction and thought "let's randomly add male characters at launch" and thinks their "target audience" is gonna like it? lol

"absolutely necessary for the narrative" what does that even mean??????? you could turn every character in genshin a male or female and it would STILL have the same story, nothing will change.

the only reason i could think of is they wanted publicity, because this is an absurd move, they wanted to be "controversial" to gain attention, because i swear this game has been gaining attention BECAUSE it added male characters out of nowhere.

but it's netmarble so i highly recommend don't Play it.

ATP I assume every new mixed gender is a flytrap unless there’s overwhelming evidence of the contrary.

I’ve been through Wuwa’s, zzz’s, and endfield’s launch. You can’t fool me

It's probably safe to ditch if by the 2nd patch there's no sign or tease of a new male character release.

Esp early on where they want to keep the player's interest fresh during the honeymoon period. Not having a single release during the time is most likely a trap.

Sadly Endfield is slowly moving in that direction but I would love to be proven otherwise.

Endfield has a male coming up. But he's the last in the FOURTH patch with 3 more women in front of him. Unless they start fixing the ratio after that patch it's safe to write it off as more waifuslop

They did tease him first before the other 2, so odds are he might just be the 1.3 unit.

Honestly endfield is the only new mixed gender gacha I'm trusting rn bc at least they are honest lol.

As long as Endfield doesn't pull a Silver and Blood after the next male limited then I'm good with it. Basically I mean as long as they actually continue to release new males then I'm okay with it.
