Hi everyone! I am trying to conduct genealogical research on my family and, (through the work of a now-deceased relative) I have traced it back to the late 1600s in Ayamonte, Huelva, Spain. Unfortunately, I am missing some documentation and would need help obtaining any documentation available through the local parish my ancestors were associated with in Ayamonte (Parroquial de Nuestra Señora de las Angustias).

Would anyone here be able to help me by requesting documentation from the church for the individuals that I have circled in the attached photo? If not, can anyone at least put me in contact with a genealogist that lives in this area?

*Please note that “Ambrosio” in the attached photo may actually be named “Francisco” as well based on a death record I found for the other Francisco in the photo who died in Cadiz because that record said that Francisco’s father was named Francisco and was also from Ayamonte.

I live in the United States and the research that needs to be completed can only be done in person instead of online so I really need help from someone in the area. Please comment or message me if you can provide any assistance!

Hey, do you know if there is any "speaking corner" or language meetings in pubs of the city? When I was a student at the University of Huelva, there were a few bars or pubs which organised speaking activities, especially during the weekdays. I would love to practice my languages (especially French and German) with students, especially ERASMUS. I am a citizen born in Huelva who is currently living in Toledo and I'll stay here for the Christmas holidays. See you and thanks in advance.

He estado en varios países, hasta del considerado "tercer mundo" y nunca había visto tantos desechos de perros en las aceras, a veces es hasta irritante darse cuenta que la gente es tan mal educada y asquerosa. En Reino Unido siempre veía la gente paseando sus perros y recogiendo los desechos, siempre tenían bolsitas. En Alemania hasta hay dispensadores de bolsitas en los parques y la gente también tiende a tener las suyas.

Pero acá en Huelva por ejemplo da vergüenza ver tanta m@$#%. Una ciudad con tanto potencial pero la gente no coopera.

Hasta donde saben ustedes, hay alguna normativa de ayuntamiento que exige los dueños de los perros recojan los desechos?
