It reminds me of a time when I was maybe 10 years old.  I climbed up a very large pine tree, and there was a big bird nest up there.  I looked into it, and saw a freshly severed grouse leg.   I climbed back down, and fell, hitting some of the branches, as I did not want my eyes pecked out by a large raptor.  Did I overreact? Perhaps.  I was bruised, but I still had my eyes.
