I have a pavlovian effect of sobbing immediately to any of the leftovers songs when I hear them in other things.
Dude using that song as background music was a cheat code for sad. Also I rarely encounter fans of The Leftovers so hi, there’s dozens of us! it’s such a fantastic show but it’s a lot to take in!
Loved the show, but, I'm not sure I even finished watching it, think I stopped somewhere near the end of season 3. Definitely felt like the first 2 seasons were the strongest.
SPOILER: What happened after the French guy decided to nuke Australia, was there much show after that?
Oh jeez, you got that far and didn't finish it?! Season 3 was the best. Finale is absolutely one of the best things ever filmed.
Guess it's not for everyone.
