NATURE NASA released the the clearest images of Mars

NASA's Perseverance rover has sent back its latest images from the Martian surface, giving us another incredibly detailed look at the rocks, terrain and landscape of a world millions of miles away. The rover continues to explore Mars while sending new images and science back to Earth.

Oh, man, that reminds me of when the Spirit rover started sending back high-resolution color images of the surface of Mars 20 years ago. It seems kinda tame now but back then it was awe-inspiring.

Eventually it was going to be either recovered, or as I prefer, memorialized where it died if possible.

I looked for it and couldn't find it. I remember someone made a post somewhere in which the future inhabitants of Mars created a memorial for posterity, to honor the rover in perpetuity.
