NATURE NASA released the the clearest images of Mars

NASA's Perseverance rover has sent back its latest images from the Martian surface, giving us another incredibly detailed look at the rocks, terrain and landscape of a world millions of miles away. The rover continues to explore Mars while sending new images and science back to Earth.

You'd just switch to 'military time'. So, if a Martian day is 24 hours and 27 minutes time would go 24:25-24:26-00:00-00:01.

Mars would need its own calendar, and I'm sure someone already made one.

They actually did. The calendar uses constellations names for Martian “months”, which have around 60 sols in each.

Your post prompted me to look it up.

The year is divided into 24 months. The first 5 months in each quarter have 28 sols, while the final month has 27 sols unless it is the final month of a leap year, when it contains the leap sol as its final sol. Darian calendar - Wikipedia

Wow. My mistake. I was actually referring to a fictional book the author of which used Darian’s system for Martian calendar, but it seems the author made some changes and his version had 12 months, but more sols in each.

Aka "sane time", which, like all sane things, Americans do not use, except their military, NASA, and emergency services, where guessing isn't an option.
