All the moisture fried out of them, there for no arc circuit completion? From what I remember it's been awhile.

There's periods of flies walking in the circle without zaps, then all of a sudden it starts again. I suspect someone is turning it on and off.

I was climbing the top masts during flight ops those lighting and RF. UHF SH connectors had to be rewapend and coated. I was the only one that had an antenna involved rating. Former USS Midway.

the flies might literally be charged too by the zaps, and hence the rezapping is them being grounded. the charge makes for a less than favorable current path.
