Official Club News [LUFC Official] Wilfried Gnonto joins ACF Fiorentina on loan
Good luck, Willy.
Feels very explicit that this is only a loan - suggests the club/Farke may see a possibility regular game time could help his development., and give him a path back into contention next season?

Discussion Anyone else feeling this is the best transfer window we've had in years?
We've signed some absolute banging players, and today we've got two more through the door.
Real statements of intent from the club and I'm all fall it. It's pleasing to see some top players opting to come for us, clearly they feel we are building towards something special.

📈 How good is he right now?
🔮 And how much further can he go?
I’ve gone through the lot in my second last player profile of the summer 😔
No more rumours. No more “advanced talks”. No more refreshing Twitter every 30 seconds.

Article Leeds United, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya and the Fastest Player in Bundesliga History
🚨 JEAN-MATTÉO BAHOYA IS LEEDS 🙌🏼
Done. Announced. And now, I can finally go to bed 😏
I first wrote about Jean-Mattéo Bahoya on 23 May.
At the time, I decided against publishing it. I loved the player, but considered him an ambitious, probably unrealistic target for Leeds.
Three months later, he’s holding up a Leeds United shirt. And I genuinely couldn’t be happier with this one.
Bahoya was my dream signing this summer.
⚡ Ridiculous pace
🇫🇷 One of France’s most exciting young attackers
🔥 Direct, explosive and dangerous in transition
📈 And still only 21 years old
I’ve gone through his career, his game, his strengths, his weaknesses and exactly why I’ve been so excited about this player since May.
The article has been waiting long enough.
Jean-Mattéo Bahoya is a Leeds United player.
Bahooooooooya. 🤍💙💛

Discussion Player rating results vs Brentford
I’m afraid It’s not the transfer news you’re all waiting for.
Decent ratings for Trafford and Muharemovic. All the bench players have ok ratings showing the difference they made in the second half.
Everyone is being very kind to the ref so far this season which is nice

“The storm was always going to come,” Brentford’s Keith Andrews says, a poetic way of putting how Elland Road can feel.
“It’s an amazing place. The club has ebbed and flowed over the past 10, 15 years, as everyone is aware, but it’s always a spicy atmosphere, which I really love. Some of our players will be used to it, some less so. You’ve got to be ready for every punch that gets thrown at you.”
A storm of punches are what Leeds are, except they are now boxing clever.
Leeds were the last team to win the English title prior to the formation of the Premier League in 1992 and a great northern powerhouse is stirring. They are no longer dream-chasers and club-wreckers, but reconstructed on stable foundations and common sense.
The sights and sounds of ‘new’ Leeds, ‘the most passionate club in the whole country’. Free to read here.

Discussion On being Loans FC
Guys I'm not very clued up on how finances work in football, but I understand a little bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but clubs' financial positions are tracked in 3 year periods? They have to be "sustainable" within that period, up to an allowable losses amount of (I think) $35m per season in that three year period.
With that in mind, we're currently in the last season of reporting the outgoing sales of Summerville, Kamara and Rutter (Archie was reported in the June of the previous season).
My thought is that those deals have been able to float the sustainability of the club for the last three years, and the whole point of these loans is to push the sales into a new three year window, since we've been able to coast on those sales plus premier league money.
Does this make sense? Am I potentially on base with this one?
