They want someone who will be a fall guy in every situation and will never fight to assign responsibility to anyone else.

If you say "stuff happens to me", that means you assign responsibility to logical stuff. If you are sick, you know it's not because of your decisions. If you are ordered to do something, you know it's not your fault if that messes up.

They hate that.

They want someone who won't fight back if they try to fire you for stuff outside your control. Someone who takes responsibility for stuff like getting sick, or when the boss makes a stupid decision, or at least someone who won't make a fuss about who should be at fault.

That's what this question is: Do you assign blame to those responsible, or are you a good little corporate fall guy?

I have been awake for a full day. I am too dumb for McDonald’s apparently. Im a mech engineer tho, so honestly probably true, I need my emotional support wrench at all times
