I just wanted a hot dog Apperantly A24 suddenly thinks they own all of the backrooms.

Post image

Many people have been reporting copyright strikes for backrooms fan games, textures, and other references on Google play, Twitter and other spaces. Apparently the company thinks if they make a movie that suddenly they own the source material that existed years before the movie was even conceptualized. For an idea of how ridiculous this is, it's like saying James Cameron owns the Titanic and every survivor's story because of the movie he made.

With how shitty the world is becoming at what point is it enough, it's literally 1984, can't have shit anymore, even decades old community internet creepypastas apparently.

These posts always crack me up bc what would yall do if someone injured you in a car crash and refused to pay? What would you do if you were accused of a crime you didn’t commit? Or if someone robbed you?

Everyone hates lawyers until they need one.

Aww, did your widdle feewings get hurt? 😂
You do realise humanity predates courts and lawyers, right? And as if lawyers have never conned anybody?

For your context, my comment was a joke from The Simpsons THAT WAS MADE BY A LAWYER!!

What about my comment makes you think I’m upset? I genuinely find sentiments like this funny, due to the reasons listed in my comment.

I’m sure you would call me if you needed me too. Like I said, everyone hates lawyers until they need one.

There’s really no reason for you to be condescending. That only serves to make you look immature. Based on your attitude and Reddit history, I’m assuming and hoping you’re still a kid.

This has been a strange interaction. I’m fine with people not respecting lawyers, they still pay me.

You remind me of myself when I was a teenager. I was an asshole and took the internet way too seriously back then. It’s actually interesting to look back on how I would have reacted to you 10-15 years ago vs now. You might have got under my skin back then. Now, I don’t really give a shit lol.

Good luck out there. I hope you mature some day ✌️

Call me when you need me 😉
