It’s mocking Trump who has had issues with the reflecting pool and recently signed an order to change Lake Ontario’s name to Lake America. Most likely Trump supporters were upset with the sign and mass reported the account, leading to its removal.

I stopped using FB because I (transfem) was getting violent threats just for posting outfit pics to groups, and they never found anything against community standards.

EDIT: lmfao, downvotes for sharing a real problems that myself and others have experienced like this is absolutely wild.

The only spacess it doesnt happen in are closed trans communities. So I've found them, but it is crazy we have to isolate to avoid that insane hate.

If it helps, I'm a feral ND perimenopausal widow, and if I catch a WHIFF of TERFy bullshit, I go full "Do you need your adult guardian?" when I talk to a fellow middle-aged white lady who thinks I'm an "ally" in her "fight." If ANYBODY is going to fully understand the bullshit of being a woman, it's somebody in the throes of hormonal insanity who keeps having her safety threatened by MEN, but go off, Sister Privilege from Our Lady of Perpetual Cuntitude.

its a problem with cis people, thinking hugboxing will help when the only thing that will is pulling the other spaces kicking and screaming into the current century. i dont blame you, this sort of thing and mindset is just depressingly common and im calling it out more and more. maybe people learn? maybe people change and work to undo the horrible shit? i can dream…

They also don't enforce their nudity rules anymore. I quit IG because they wouldn't stop showing me OF rips no matter how often I reported it. Couple months later they had that thing where they made everyone's recommendations just gore and such for a few hours. Good riddance.
