I had only one plant, that I managed not to kill by myself. I mean, I am very bad at gardening, but it was resisting mightly, at least for 20 years. The plant was the last thing my gran left me, so I was somehow attached to it. Last month, I leave for the weekend, and my mom comes cat sitting at my house. I come back and she completely cutted at the base the plant, stating "it was needed". I am appalled, but she is indeed a good gardener, so I believe her. It was a one-meter-tall plant, now is kind of a stick long like a finger, but ok. Well, after a week I leave for a 10 days holiday, my mom is again cat sitting. First day, she sends me a photo of my cat and I notice in background that my plant is gone. I ask where the plant is, and she says she took it to her house, since after the big cut she did the week before, I wasn't taking good care of it. I come back today. Guess what. The plant died. She says it died "despite" her cutting it at the base and moving to her house to take care for it, not because of her doing. She "tried to save it from me".
