Best I could do. All NHL or PWHL, could I make some AP Combos?

Not a flex post or advice post posting my final team as a momento its been a crazy game cycle of ups and downs.

This game has many flaws and im not a great player despite all the good and bad im looking forward to Friday .

Started playing mid July and NMS, super happy with the build and how the team plays. I hate that I can’t get 99 Alfredsson, he was gone when I was able to afford building him.

I’m getting NHL27 when they make it available on EA Play/access.

First year playing HUT. I know NHL27 early access starts on Friday, but is it normal for content to completely stop before release? Unless you pre-ordered the game, you don’t have a new game for a couple weeks.

How hard is it to get a good team without any money spent? Curious what’s the best way to get good players early without spending a dime. I remember in 24 I pulled McDavid early so it really helped my start.

I really thought yesterday or today we were going to receive some info on HUT. with only 2 days till release this now has me pretty concerned that nothing is going to be improved in HUT.

Having been away from HUT since 24 I see now the salary cap has been introduced. How does this work? Curious what people think of it.

Hey everyone I haven’t played HUT since 24.. I used to like playing squad battles, but I see it has been removed.. I’m wondering how the new mode works and if it’s worth it rewards wise.

I doubled back on a card I have on the market, want it again and don’t want it to sell. Will someone in good faith trade and trade back? The card is worth about 100k in collateral. 92-96 range should work. Please PM if you’re up for helping and I’ll try to throw you some bonus!

Im watching nhl 24 eki videos, i never played 25 so idk if this started during that year. Why are u so fucking slow at low stamina? I look at this guy and hes barely slower than max stam when hes like 1/4 stam, anyone know if thats being changed in 27? Especially with how broken full pressure is i find it hard to believe that neither of them will be nerfed

Edit: I know half the comments will be "ur low stamina u shouldnt be fast" theres a difference between not being fast and literally crawling, u should not be that slow

I really just wanted to give some appreciation for 2BC for his recent video calling out EA and the state that the NHL video games are in. He has made NHL content for years now, and i really respect him for willing to say what we as a community have been thinking.

I also think this is where someone like Nosleeves could really step up. Now I am not sending any hate to sleeves but, i just wish he would maybe stick to his word when he is being critical. I have watched him for years and he is critical of the game and HUT but, he will still fly to Vancouver or do a Coffee and Chel to promote the game. Sleeves has done a awesome job at telling EA our feedback but, he will still keep promoting the game.

NO HATE towards sleeves i just really wish we had more creators like 2BC who really get us and tell EA what he really thinks. he is not afraid of EA.

Based on these 84 hero options, which one are u choosing? The best ones from my nhl 26 knowledge and my own personal opinion

1. Trevor linden, 6'5, always pretty quick, (id assume his 84 will have around 85/86 ish speed)

2. Luc Robitaile, always really quick,(prob high 80s speed) good shot too.

3. Bondra. Kinda figuredo ut he was really quick in 26 (90 speed at 84)

4. Maybe Jay bo? If he gets good x factors he could be a valid option, espeically since most players will pick modano for the icon.

What are your thoughts?

I haven’t played NHL since NHL 25, and the last time I played HUT there was squad battles (I think it was NHL 24?) I enjoyed this and the free packs that came with it, since it made coins from the packs and some BND cards accessible to build my team. How is the grind now for someone who doesn’t spend beyond initial game purchase? I was reading about an event called “The Cup” and there’s also an XP path now. Does the XP path give you nice cards? I’ve never been super good at HUT, I think I’ve only had a 92 overall team at the highest but I enjoyed the mode and playing the game. I think there is some challenges and HUT moments to complete also, I’ve never been a big online player. How is HUT now for those who might be similar to me? What do you grind for your teams to get coins / cards? I was considering jumping back in for HUT 27 at release, just wanted some advice or guidance on what to do in the mode to grow my team or coins. Thanks for any help 🏒

Im not saying he should be much lower than a 95, but i feel like they jumped the gun just a tad. I understand he just had a wicked 2nd season, but making him a top 10 rated player in all of the nhl? I feel like longevity should play atleast a little bit of a role lol, i think he shoulda been like a 92-93. Ik im probably gonna get hated on for this like crazy but that just seems a little quick to me

This post is shameless (kinda shameful actually) self-promotion as I have one on the market, but if you’re sticking with NHL 26 and grinding for a 99X, searching for the 95 Hutson card will not appear if you search Montreal since the card is in the Next Gen USA category only. And/or search 95 LH D. Just a heads up it’s a good way to get his objectives done without spending a fortune and without using a base card.

I know this is a HUT subreddit, but will this “new” mode be like Versus, but seasons amongst friends? And no P2W?
